The butchest, manliest of musks covered in well-worn leather. This smells like a dentist's office on both me & my husband.
-
A1 steak sauce. Ugh. In the future I'll go to Nemesis for my red patchouli needs.
-
I've never tried this on myself - only my husband. It reminds me of Incantation because of the vetiver and fruit mixture. Spider is much fruitier though and actually smells just like Fruit Stripes (that gum with the weird zebra guy on the package).
-
I was worried about the lavender making this some kind of sleepy nighttime scent but that didn't happen. This ended up reminding me very much of Incantation minus the lemon. Masculine, almost woody and something about it reminds me of vetiver. I keep shoving my arm under my husband's nose and asking if he wouldn't love to smell like this but he keeps telling me he likes it on me. I'm buying a bottle and this will probably end up being something hubby and I both wear.

A reviewer up thread mentioned smelling grapes and there is a very faint grape background. Mostly though I think this smells like a head shop. Quite weak though - almost no throw. I also got a very faint hint of something woody for a second. And pale flowers. This is very beautiful.

I usually try to avoid roses, but the lab included 2 frimps in my latest order so I felt like it was a sign. This smells just like...my mom's house?? She frequently has a saddle in the living room and Whip reminds me of saddle soap. The rose isn't bitter at all - it's almost mellow. I'm really glad I tried this - it might be a rose scent that I can actually pull off.
-
On me this is watery with a background of a semi-bitter flower. The bitter flower seems familiar like I should know what it is. Ohhhh, now I know - rose. It's musk rose and rose mallow so I thought I'd be safe but apparently not. Or maybe I thought they would be mild enough that everything else would cover them up. Eventually this becomes juniper and rose. I don't like the smell of roses - whether it's from fresh cut flowers or a perfume. Unfortunately I won't be giving this another try - it's going straight to the swap pile.

For a long time this smelled like a mild cup of tea. Finally I started getting a little jasmine and maybe even some weak berry, but honestly - the smell I was getting the most was chocolate? It's almost like I ate a candy bar and while I still had chocolate breath I drank a cup of tea while sitting on a bench 2 blocks from a flower garden. Oh wait, just as I'm finishing the tea the wind picked up and blew all of the jasmine out of the garden and up my nose. Then the wind died down and I'm left with pale flowers 2 blocks away, an empty tea cup and my chocolate breath is gone. This is interesting and I'll need to try it out several more times before I form an opinion.

Wet on my skin this smelled exactly like someone layered Green Phoenix with Beaver Moon 07. A few minutes in it was all lilac. Then everything started to blend and soften for the next 1/2 hour and now I'm reminded of an Avon scent I loved in high school called Lahana. This is so awesome! Very much a summer scent.
-
It's not really soapy, but clean. Very light lemon - nothing like Embalming Fluid. I can also see my husband trying this out. It has a light, commercial body spray feel to it. But I hate vetiver so how can I like this? I also avoid sandalwood if I can help it. Now I have to go through the entire catalog again and reconsider everything I thought for sure would stink. I hate when my closed mindedness comes back to bite me in the ass.
-
Pretty much smells like Eat Me to me. If I concentrate I can smell a little rose in the background. Actually, if you give it a little time the rose is more noticeable which is unfortunate for me since I hate rose.
-
I also get Sweet Tarts from this. But it doesn't matter because I love Tiki Queen! It's sweet and fun and happy and lasts forever. I didn't get any vanilla or coconut at all.
-
At first this had a very red fruit smell - sometimes very cherry, sometimes just red fruit. I think I briefly smelled green tea. Then about 10-15 minutes after I put it on it became Kitsune-Tsuki - only red. I suppose I'm just picking up the plum strongly in both of them, but they smell very similar.
-
At first this went kind of plastic-y on me and reminded me of Dana O'Shee. After only a few minutes that went away and I was left with a mild spice. No fruit though - just spice. Something about it reminds me of Misk U?? It's like a mildly spicy coffee smell. Still no fruit, but definitely foody.
-
I might as well be wearing Hollywood Babylon. On my skin they're identical - strawberry incense. Sure Red Moon smells great, but it's basically just a new name for something I already have. I just don't understand why I'm not smelling what everyone else smells...??
