In the bottle: Sweet, creamy caramel! Yum! Wet: All coconut. Dry down: Coconut with a faint floral undertone. 3 hours: Still mostly coconut. 6 hours: This has totally changed. Sweet, spicy amber with a touch of caramel. The coconut is gone and this has turned out more beautiful than I'd hoped for. Here I was thinking I might have to save this for summer since that's the only time I like to wear coconut scents. Now I can't wait to wear it again and see how it morphs next time!

    Kweku Anansi

In the bottle: Pepper Wearing: Pepper Unforunately my nose couldn't get past the dusty pepper. The second I put it on I felt like I was going to sneeze, and wound up washing it off pretty quickly. Just wan't for me.

    Pink Moon 2005

I've worn this one several times, it's a tough one to figure out. The name certainly fits, it is above all else a very PINK scent. Sugary sweet without being too sweet. I can't really pick out any floral notes in it and only occassionally catch a hint of strawberry. Cotton candy and bubblegum come to mind when I wear it, but there is also a spiciness to it that I really love. I'm so glad this was my first "Moon" scent. I love it!

    CCNow Questions & Problems

CCNow doesn't put through your payment until after the lab has harvested your order. If you check the status of your order on the CCNow website, when it says "Shipped", that means the order has been harvested by the lab and that is when you will be billed. HTH

Application: sweet honey and patchouli. On dry down: the honey disapears and it's ALL patchouli, very earthy. I'm sitting at my desk at work hoping nobody gets too close to me. I like patchouli, but this is just too much. I smell like I just walked out of a Grateful Dead concert. Can you say Mary Jane? I swear that is what is smells like on me. None of the other notes are present at all. 6 hours: it has toned down a bit and the honey is making a slight come back, but I still don't care for the earthiness of this patchouli. The next morning: Boy, does this stuff have staying power!! Right now it finally smells really nice, all the notes have come into play and blended together for a wonderful sweet, spicy scent. It's just too bad it took almost 24 hours for it to get there!! hehehe I'm sure this scent is going to be fabulous on many people, just not me. My imp has already found a new home.

    Nyarlathotep

This was not at all what I expected from the description and other reviews. On me it is not lemon/citrus or incense at all. Rather it smells light and fresh, just like air after a warm, spring rain. It's nice. I probably won't buy a big bottle, but will use up the imp.

    Van Van

A venerable voodoo blend, used for purification of the spirit and to amplify positive personal power. In the bottle it did smell faintly lemony, but once it touced my skin it instantly became baby powder, and not in a nice way. Cloyingly sweet and overpowering. Oh well, this one just wasn't meant for me.

    Ulalume

This is not one I would have tried, but I'm glad I got the chance to. In the bottle it's an earthy floral. Wearing it turns to a clean, light floral, watery and pure. I can't detect any wood or crushed leaf notes. Unfortunately it's a little too light on me and faded very quickly. For me it had no staying power or throw at all which is sad, because it was very pretty while it lasted.

    Intrigue

This isn't a scent I was planning on trying, but was another great addition to my last order by the lab. In the bottle: cocoa and wood Wearing: Cocoa and sweet incense. I can't really pick out the fig, but imagine that is what is tempering the wood notes on me. This one didn't last as long on me as most do, but I don't mind re-applying something I really like. I love chocolate scents, but sometimes they are just too sweet. This was wonderful the way the fig and wood notes weren't overpowered by the cocoa and it wound up being more earthy and incensey than just a food scent.

    Ordering Imps

Do you mean you were going to order two or more six-packs of imps, and after keying in your selections for the first six-pack when you went back in to key in the next six selections the first six had vanished off your order? I order through CCNow and I've had that happen too. I had to reset some of the security options on my computer and firewall to allow them to add cookies to track my ordering process. Once the order is completed I reset everything and delete the cookies.

    Dragon's Blood

Thank you lab for sending me this one as it isn't something I would probably have ever ordered for myself. I've been putting off trying it, not ever having smelled anything with this note in it. Wow, what a surprise, not at all what I expected. On me this is an absolutely wonderful floral scent. I just can't decide what it smells like more, fresh cut roses or lilacs. Either way, I love it and now must try all the dragons blood scents!

    Depraved

I like patchouli, and I love apricot, so I had high hopes for this one. March Hare and Imp are also two of my favorites, but the earthy black patchouli in Depraved and I didn't get along very well. In the bottle: dirt On application: apricots covered in dirt Final impression: My skin just turns this scent to dirt. I was really rooting for the apricots to win out in the end, but no luck. I usually try to wear a scent all day before I make a final decision, but after 3 hours I just couldn't take this one anymore and had to wash it off. I'll stick to Imp.

    Aizen-Myoo

A bright, bittersweet scent honoring the Japanese Deity of Love and Passion. Aizen-Myoo is one of the vidyarajas, the Shingon's Radiant Kings of Wisdom. Though Aizen-Myoo possesses the lust, grace and passion of both genders, he most often appears to his followers as male. His face is screwed into a fearsome demonic mask, but this is only the wrathful, fierce countenance he places over himself to guide and empower his children. Aizen-Myoo is the patron of prostitutes, of joyous, unbridled sexuality and of all forms of erotic love and is worshipped by all those in the sex industry, musicians, and - oddly - landlords. Yuzu, kaki, and mikan with cherry blossom and black tea. Well, first off I had an oopppps while putting this on. In my half-awake clumsiness yesterday morning I managed to spill almost half the imp on my hands while attempting to apply it, so it was very strong. My initial impression was it reminded me of the smell of a household cleaner or a citrus air freshner spray. After about an hour I’m catching what smells like fresh citrus fruits that have just been sliced open. It has a very fresh, crisp tartness to it. A nice summer scent. 6 hours: It’s changed once again. The cherry blossom has finally peeked through over the citrus and now it’s a floral scent with a hint of the black tea underneath. Definitely a scent for summer.

    The Red Queen

Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant. From the lab description, this is not something that I would have ever chosen for myself. So a big thank you to the lab for letting me try this one out. Wet: an almost bitter smell that quickly mellows out into the wood scents Wearing: It’s not at all what I would have expected. The wood scents are very mellow and the black/red cherries give it a touch of fruity sweetness. This strikes me as a very masculine scent. Every time I smell this I have a very strong mental image of an old fashioned gentleman’s den. Walls lined in luxurious mahogany panels, deep leather chairs around a majestic fireplace and the smell of cherry flavored cigar smoke hanging gently in the air. Final impression: Definitely a more masculine scent, but I like the way it smells on me too. It didn't throw very far, but it did last a good ten hours. My sister has this one too, but it doesn’t smell masculine on her at all. I’d love to find out what this smells like on my boyfriend, but I’m not sure I can get him to wear something called “The Red Queen”. Hehehe

    Juju

In the vial: Sweet floral scent, can't really pick out a specific flower. On: This turned instantly powdery on me, and stayed that way all day. It didn't morph at all, just a sweet, floral powder. Heartbeast is so very right. This is an "old lady" floral dusting powder that I would never have chosen for myself, but oddly, I really like it.
