This smelled generic black musk scent to me initially on. As it dries I get the oakmoss, black amber, pom and sandalwood. In the end I finally get the purple. To me, this is a darker, less sweet, muskier version of purple moon with pom thrown in for good measure.

Absolutely awesome! I didn't even really think about this one when it first came out. I'm not a bubblegum sweet sort of girl. But then the reviews started to come in and I took a second look. Sweet and innocent combined with sinister? Now THAT's right up my alley. To me, this is the kind of perfume the girl in Kill Bill with the ball and chain would wear. One who appears to be sweet but in reality is deadly. This is all bazooka bubblegum and leather one me. The combo is outstanding. The bubblegum has a carnation vibe, which makes sense. I might even have to get another bottle.

Ashlultum~ Babylonian musk, vanilla tea, tonka, tobacco, coconut, hyssop, and lilac. Now I have my own little baby Andra to keep! This is definitely giving off and suntan oil vibe, but lilac suntan oil. It's like I've been at Water World all day, running around having a grand old time. It also reminds me of Black Pearl/Moon a bit. That rich orchid/lotus scent coupled with musk. The tea is faint but gets stronger as it dries and the tobacco is wonderful here! It's keeping it from going too sweet. Hmm, now I'm reminded of an Anthropologie store with the mish-mash of high quality body products in fun and enticing scents. I like this. It's a bit different than expected. Andra is going to sit right next to my A and B bottles...forever, mwahahahaaaa!

Initially on this is sweet citrus resins and straw. It's a little astringent. Dry, the amber really comes out to tone down the tartness but it's still lemony and sticky from the honey. It reminds me of a simpler Litha. It sticks close to the skin and makes me feel humid for some reason.

I am in heaven! I remember smelling this at ECWC and falling in love with it. But for some reason I hadn't ordered it til now. Stupid me! This is glowing and summary, sweet, and floral. I'm getting ambery incense underneath creamy florals coated in sugar. This is so good!

Hmm, this initially reminded me of Night's Pavilion as it has that same same creamy, high pitched floral thing going on. But as it dries I'm mostly left with watery rose...pretty much exactly like attar of rose. But then I amp rose. There's a little musk in there, but it isn't as blue as this version usually is. This is a nice, clean, not cloying floral.

Roll-ups, mildewed raincoat, sweet tea, and condensed milk. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this! I smelled this at wonderful Shelly's first will call and absolutely fell in love with it. As soon as it went live I bought the bottle and have loved it ever since. This is a comforting blend for me. It starts off a little masculine/musky but with a tinge of sweetness. As time progresses it does sweeten up a bit and I can detect sweet milk and dusty notes here. Far in the background are the roll-ups. I definitely think the oil fits the description and character. I love this one so much.

I was sort of thinking that since the seller is in London. But I really have no idea.

As far as I know, the big bottles the lab auctioned off were not like the ones pictured in that auction. I honestly have never seen bottles like that but I am not all-knowing so I will refrain from passing judgment for now.

I definitely get a christmas-y vibe at first from this...likely the juniper berry in the gin but this adds Pez candy to the mix. It's funny, this smell is specifically related to Pez and no other candy. Sweet blueberry, lemongrass and gin. Bubbly and fun.

I love lilacs...LOVE them. If I could live in a grove of them as they bloomed all year I would die of happiness. Naturally, I've been looking for a lilac scent, without too much success. Other notes tend to drown it out. Night Thoughts comes the closest to true lilac as I've found so far. It starts off cedar and soapy lilac. The soapiness quickly disappears. This sits really close to the skin. I thought it was gone at first. Dry I can smell the ozone combined with the blue musk and herbs. They are really a distant backdrop. The cedar makes this a little dusty, like the bottle has been sitting on a curio shelf for a decade. I definitely like this, but I needed to get past the soapy part first. It's really a pretty, subtle, ethereal scent.

This starts off a little sharp and herbal bitter. I was a little bummed at first. But, as it dried it blossomed into this beautiful scent. It's slightly citrusy, but not in your face. I smell a ripe, juicy berry in there as well. I've had it on as I do my after work computer thing and kept getting wafts of it and loving it. As I did, it started to really remind me of another absolute love of mine: Arkham Revisited. It's like a fresher, more clean version of AR. I like.

Hunger will have a regular GC label, unless they have recently been changed.

This is like a violet Red Lantern with some Black Moon thrown in to mix it up. After looking at the notes again, I can kind of get the feeling of the presence of all of them, but the violet/orchid/blue musk and burnt sugar are predominant on me. As it dries something a little fruitier comes out...definitely a little tart, bitter blackberry leaf with a pinch of strawberry. I don't detect any rose but feel its presence. It has an air of sophistication the maple-sugar scents always seem to lack for me. However, I'm not quite sure what to think of Sugar Moon just yet. Part of it smells delicious, and part of it just does not appeal to me. But then again, I am not the type who likes Red Lantern and Sugar Skull. For those who love smokey, sweet, sugar scents should like this one.

Wow! Ogun smells like a slightly (and I mean slighty, like tiny) more spicey Fee when wet. I am amazed actually. With Fee you get sugary sweet innocence and Ogun is a little more grown up and dries down to a heavier juniper berry. Verdandi also smells a lot like the Harvest Moons. -
Yum yum yum yum yum! Can I just say how amazed I am at this series of the zodiac? So many are absolutely wonderful. They are plant-like, herbal, rooty, seedy, very real and tangible...and comforting. Pisces does not disappoint. What I smell is really pretty mossy florals. It reminds me of a commercial perfume I used to wear a lot but forget the name. The moss is making this a little spicy and the hemp is sweet and juicy. The grains are a faint undercurrent and really ground this blend without making it too earthy. The poppy doesn't dominate like it usually does, rather the florals are a well-blended bouquet of subtle aromas. Nothing cloying over here. I can see this working on a man or woman but it isn't masculine in the slightest. It's sweet, unassuming, and just so comforting.

Green Phoenix, you're breaking my heart! I get sharp, biting, tart lime over Orbit sweet mint bubblegum. It's slightly salty aquatic and is verging on being a generic ocean breeze type of scent.
-
In the bottle this smells like Vicks Vapor Rub. On, I get a blast of green, sappy florals, a lot like dandelion (which does not like me). It hovers on going cloying/soapy on me but manages to settle down into a creamy/sweet floral candy scent. I don't like it as much as I knew I would but I'm going to give it a shot. EDIT: I changed my mind. I have been sitting, basking in the beauty of this scent for a while now. It is rich, sophisticated and not at all cloying when dry. Truly lovely.

I almost didn't get this one, but I'm glad I did! Initially, this is a blast of brown sugar incense, reminiscent of Al Azif. After a couple of seconds a strong, rooty, floral note starts to pop and them immediately settle down into creamy goodness. I'm left with a next-to-skin scent of faint, wafting spicey incense behind creamy florals sitting on mild smelling nuts This fades so fast though!

Wow. I smell chilly, red plants here. Actually, all I can smell is Skadi (with less pine) laced with the mint-chocolate-y scent from Ice Queen. If you like wither one of those, pick this one up.

Gah! Man, I thought pomegranate loved me. I thought the note in Crypt Queen that made it hate me so was the raspberry...but I guess I was wrong. This is really sharp, tart, and somewhat bitter pom. Underneath it I do smell a little spice there but this is mostly the fruit. Too much of this makes me nose itch but it does smell nice in small doses. As it fades it gets a crayon/waxy smell to it. I'm undecided about this as of yet. I was hoping for a rounder, smoother pom than what I am getting based on others reviews. ADD: Ok, so I gave this a not so stellar review a few days ago. I tried it again, and slathered like hell (the original test was only a dab)...and I love it! That tart, bitterness is gone as it's a creamy pom now. So happy.

This starts off sharp and woody...fairly masculine actually. It reminds me of another BPAL that I can't quite place. Maybe it's Intrigue but I'm not entirely positive. The incense also smells somewhat like Midnight Mass. This is mostly musky, smokey woods on me with a grounded base of vanilla in the background. It's different than I imagined, more hefty and less like Antique Lace. The vanilla and musk really come out in the drydown. This is totally my kind of scent. More so as the surprise than what I thought it was going to be. This is totally wearable for a man who doesn't amp sweets.

My lone Halloween purchase that I chose very, very carefully. This really is lovely and totally wearable. It dries down to a really nice spicey concoction. There is no sour vinegar note here at all. I can smell the clay (which is sooooo unexpectedly nice) and just a tiny dollop of dragon's blood. This reminds me of a less aggressive/robust Port Royal with a nice earthy note to ground it.

This is a very pretty, crystalline floral. It does start a little soapy but a bright, tartness soon takes over. I feel like this is a marriage between Black Moon and Kindly Moon. It evokes a lot of beautiful imagery: blue-white florals frozen in time. I forgot to add that dry this almost has a honeydew melon note to it and now reminds me of Fee a bit. Interesting...
