Pumpkin with sandalwood and orris. I am STUNNED by this scent! It's the first scent that I've said "ew" to when sniffing from the imp, yet tried on anyway and LOOOOOOVED. In the imp, it smells stinky to me. I hate to say it, but it smells dirty feet stinky! I'm not sure why, since I love the listed notes. Because I'm in a Weenie mood, tho' (anticipating the update ) I tried it on. Within a minute or two, it was woody yet foody... juicy and boozy, like a spiked punch. DREEEEEAMY! I'm so glad someone frimped me this scent. I might try tracking down a bottle... um, when my finances recover from more recent updates.

My Chaos Theory is WIIIIILD. It's number DCCXCVIII, which is... 798, right? Not a bad number, I'll say. In the bottle: It's a very masculine scent, dreamy. It has a bit of evergreen and some creamy sweetness. Lighty, airy, alllmost citrus-y but not quite. Bracing, and I'd almost say ocean air-ish? Salty? Makes me think of a pinetree-capped cliff overlooking a stormy sea. Mmmmmm. On the skin wet: It totally morphs into a salty, smoky wet wood... pungent and overwhelming and lusty and wet and kinda dirty. Mossy. Rawr. On the skin, dry: Still pungent, mostly wet-woods now with a stab of smoke. Mmmmm, I love it! Although it's very manly, I'll probably wear this one A LOT. I was feeling very romantic about my Chaos Theory even before it arrived... I mean, I couldn't wait until I had MY PERFUME, the only that ONLY I had, that no one else owned or smelled like! The manliness and completely unlike-anything-else-ness of it doesn't put me off at all. I love men's colognes and I love unique, intriguing scents. I'm already sad at the idea of it running out someday! If I can stand to share it, I'll have the boyfriend try this one on; it's so sexy in a very special way. Thank you, Beth, for a nearly perfect blend for me! ETA: An hour or so later, it's still going strong. Wet smoke, there's no other way to describe it.

A friend of mine tried this scent first, and I remember her being kinda W. T. F. about it. But based on the description, I HAD to try it. All I can say at first pass (smelling it in the bottle and when I first applied it to my skin) is HELLOOOOO LICORICE. And medicine cabinet. Oh my GAWD. Let's see how it dries down... ... Slowly drying down. A little less eye-stinging anise, a little more berry and rum. And fig. The fig is LOUD. ... Okay, the more it dries, the more I get some chocolate out of it. And the more laidback it becomes. The rum is intoxicating. It's still a pretty BOLD scent, but it's bold like a really strong, really sweet cocktail. Like the way I make my rum-and-cokes. I usually knock folks flat with my coke-to-rum ratio (it's because the rum is sweet... I can't gauge it's presence because it hides in the sweet of the coke... but I've been told folks can SMELL the licker in my drinks). It's funny--I've noticed that the LOUD SCARY scents become quite mellow on me. I'm glad I decided to take this imp off of someone else's hands. I really like it a lot. *sniffs wrist again* OH HELLZ YEAH. I smell like the sort of fruitcake you WANT to get at Christmas time.

Thanks to everyone who shared their spreadsheets! I'm a newbie and have just acquired my first few imps. I figure if I'm organized from the start, it'll go so much better... the challenge, though, as always, is whether or not I can STAY organized... *cough* we'll see.
