hmm....toasty and not too sweet, definitely not heavy, just foody and yummy and....toasty. this smells warm! the vanilla doesnt take over and make the whole thing a sugary mess the way it usually does in other scents! a soft and pleasant scent.

this is the scent that made me realize that maybe I do like a bit of sweetness in my perfumes after all, not just cleanliness and florals wet, its a blast of cool eucalyptus, with a undercurrent that must be the violet...it only seems darker and deeper in comparison to the neroli and the mint I think. the coolness lasts a unusually long time for me considering that neroli + mint are both topnotes and disappear almost immediately on my dry skin. this is almost bitter. there is no sweetness at all for me, though the violet does get stronger and stronger on drydown. wintery and cool, not a favorite but I like!

to be completely honest I was a bit underwhelmed...there are so many rave reviews for this scent and I was so excited for this! it is very nice, a sweet vanilla tea, very warm and sweet and....thats it. its nice but not amazing. pleasant, wonderfully balanced between the sweetness of the vanilla and the savoryness of the tea, but not very exciting.

pretty much a fresh picked apple scent. not artificial or fake at all, it really does smell EXACTLY like a real apple....phenomenal. unfortunately it turns plasticky and gross on me on the drydown D: oh well!
-
EXACTLY like...stone. it smells like.... stone. I didn't even know rock had a smell! a vanilla-y, slightly creamy...stone. its a piece of rock with vanilla extract spilled over it. I don't know how else to put it! its surprisingly pleasant and very unusual. clean, pure, kind of faint, warm and sweet....very interesting, not a everyday wearable scent for me...definitely a standout special kind of scent.

hmmm...I got a thick, woody, earthy kind of scent with a strong whiff of alcohol and a hint of lightness that miiiiight be the mint that disappeared quickly. no likey. not me at all. perhaps I should have read more than the two first pages of the reviews for this scent. ah well.

got my latest order and this was one of the first I tried. the Mad Tea Party line is probably my favorite. from the moment I popped open the imp I all I got was a burst of candy, almost fruity sweetness. no rose at all! the rose came out after I put it on, but the sweetness remained strong and it stayed a very sweet rose scent...with that candy sugariness dominating. I don't know, I wasn't expecting this to be so sweet and....not rosy, though its very pleasant and lovely and I like it a lot. definitely a wearable scent. its that time of the month for me right now actually, and sweet/vanilla/honey scents tend to amplify on my skin during this period, so I'll try it a couple weeks later to see if the rose will come out more then. I really really like this! its just that it wasn't what I was expecting at all, lol.

wet: ozone-y. sharp, maybe citrussy. dry: loses a bit of the sharpness. definite salty edge. mm. kind of boring.

sharp, pungent pennyroyal over lavender wet, lavender over pennyroyal dry. not very interesting or 'perfumey' but it smells nice. I use it as insect repellent! a floral ish insect repellent to layer with other scents when I don't want to get bit or want a bit of sharpness.

a somewhat boring sweet floral blend. the violet is rather dark and strong, or the vanilla is just boosting it too much--sweet foody notes are usually overpowering on me. ehhh
-
the sweetness of the chocolate is overpowering the orange blossom. this was actually my first imp, so being inexperienced as I was I just kept on slathering more and more on hoping to get more of that floral to balance the chocolate! I had to wash my arms to the elbow at least 10 times to get the smell out. (I was 16/17, the age of stupidity.) too sweet for me!

violet, with the neroli keeping it 'high' while the musk is stronger and darker way below it. and then, powder!
-
sweetly red. this is a red scent. kind of cinnamony but sharper, though it never bites. eventually the sharpness gets fainter and fainter and I'm just left with spicy sweetness. nice, but not really what I'd wear. it did have a herbal tinge that made it interesting. edit: oooooh then nothing but powder. definitely not for me!

nothing but coffee in the bottle and wet on the skin. the rose comes out strong later on, but never manages to come on center stage and its just an amalgam of floral coffee dark sweetness. the other notes darken the scent more than it sweetens. the coffeeness goes down significantly but never disappears. I liked the cofffee though! it was sweet! probably the fig and tonka? very nice.

cloying thick honey tinged sweetness. ginger, where are you? not liking the milk. gets even more sickly sweet during drydown. and then, powder! nuh uh.
