The sweet pea isn't so strong in the imp, but on my wrist she really dries out strong! I smells like it's threatening to turn plasticky, but it's staying just on the border. I love the faint scent of sweetness on my skin. It's very pleasant and I think the name is very fitting! It's about a 4/5 for me! Jenn

In the imp: Wow, minty and incredibly crisp. There is an icy cool sort of quality that almost makes it astringent. Wet on skin: The mint mellows and I start to smell the more musky scents. It's getting sweeter too, it really doesn't smell like something a man might wear on me. Dry: About 2 or 3 hours laster the mint has completely blended it and doesn't stick out at all. The musk is settled and definitely prominent on my skin, but it's a wonderfully heavy scent. Almost the complete opposite of what I started it! The pennyroyal and lavander really round things out! Again, my skin eats up mint and amps up the sweetness! I kinda wish the minty would be stronger, but if it was any stronger in the vial there might have been problems! Hee hee. This is a really awesome scent. I didn't care much for it out of the imp, but it's worked really nicely with my skin. Jenn Edited to add: WOW about 6 hours later I keep getting a hint and it's so sweet and round and perfectly awesome!

I put this on this morning before I went to work not really remembering what the smell was. HA HA. From the imp: Smelled earthy with a sharp note, people have mentioned eucalyptus and that is exactly what I get too. Wet: It's still about the same as from the imp Dry: The Eucalyptus smell is really strong but it's mellowed out with a bit of patchouli in there. On me its smelling very herbal and strongly woodsy. It's not a scent I'll probably wear on my skin again for work, but it's my first earthy scent and I like it over all! Rating: Jenn

Wow this one is really different from my other imps! Straight from the imp it smells very strong and the lemon/tea mix is really out there in the front! On my skin it doesn't really change much, the musk comes out a teeny bit but I still get such a strong tea/lemon scent. It's 11 now and I put it on around 8 and I can still smell it, which is good 'cause my skin eats up oil FAST. I was worried it would fade completely but every now and then I get alittle hint in the air around me. Smell like I was expecting! So fresh and summery! Jenn

This is my first Vanilla scent from BPAL and I'm really liking it! From the imp it was very floral with the barest hint of Vanilla hiding in the background. On my skin though and for the next hour the Orchid dimmed and the Vanilla came to the front and centre!! Again I think I amp the sweet notes alot so this is what I was hoping for! Love it! Jenn

I took one of the excel sheet and I have to say the colour coding to personalize it is working really great. I dunno, sometimes I feel I can get alittle obessive-compulsive about having everything so organize. :S I think it's the addict starting to bloom. ha ha. Thanks for the great sheet!! Jenn

This one really didn't change much from the imp to dry on my skin which is a pleasant change! I can really smell the myrrh and it's really rounded nicely by the patchouli so it isn't too too incensy. My skin loves it and the throw doesn't seem to be far, someone has to be right next to me to get a whiff. I like my oil that way! 4/5!! Jenn

Straight from the imp and on my skin wet it's really a very dark juicy scent. The plum is really strong and I don't think I've ever smelled anything like this before! As it dries it's getting much more floral and heady, the plum still has a strong presence though. I found it's going ever so slightly soapy but not enough to make me stop wearing it. It's a very pretty scent! Jenn

I know people have had strong reactions to civet and I have to say I love it. The dark mix in this blend is really something that agrees with my skin. The name is so fitting for what I feel like when I'm wearing it! I think the Opium and Musk really make my head spin in a good way. It's deep and not overly as complex as I might have expected. The notes blend together pretty seamlessly after a half hour and just seems to become part of my skin. I really like this one! Jenn

I can really smell the sage from this and it's a strong sort scent that really makes a bold impression. The other notes start appear after a awhile on my skin and the sage sort of mellows out. I like this smell, it too reminds me of something I can't easily place. We've always had alot sage around the house, so must be something from that. It's a light scent that I'd have no problem wearing during the day. I seem to amp musk and the scents associated with it and I'm glad it does a nice battle with the sage! I'm learning to love trying to sniff out all the different layers of the scents. Jenn ADDED June 29: Aeval! Love ya baby! Imp: I get all the notes mentioned, the sweet pea, a kiss of sage, and in the background the tonka and musk. Wet: The sweet pea really takes over, but not in bad way at all. I'm a fan of the note ever since Juliet and this reminds me of that oil ALOT. Dry: Very light, very girly, very fresh and summery flowerly. I think I like this more than Juliet and it's growing on me the more I wear it! I think I might buy a big bottle of this instead of Juliet but they are SO close on my skin. How to choose! 4 outta 5! Having been to Prague and to the small villages that surround it, missing Kostnice by mere miles...This is exactly what I expected it to smell like. The frankincense is heavy and gloomy but held up by the lily and other undernotes. It's dark but in a fanscinatingly deep way that holds your interest. It gives me the same sort of feeling as being around the more sombre and historical places of Eastern Europe. This isn't a smell I would wear everyday, but more for something evening and mysterious, even serious. I really like this and as it dries it rounds out very well. Jenn

In ancient India it was believed that a specific combination of flower petals, when strewn across a couple’s bed, would amplify desire and sexual pleasure. This blend is a blend of the same floral essences, refined into a gloriously sinful perfume blend. Frangipani, with rose, tuberose, and jasmine. From the Imp: Wow! It smells really strong and has that round sour note other people have said. It's like a herbal, sweet, vinegar. I was bold and put some on! Wet: Still pretty much the same and doesn't really mellow on my skin. It's slightly less in my face, but wowzer. Dry: My skin is amping the sour spicyness of it and it's really not that pleasant. I was hoping it would round out but it's really stuck on a wierd note I'm not familiar with. Not really for me, but am glad I got to try it!! Jenn

Even from the imp I never smelled the mint note, but I do get a strong boozy sweet scent that I really like. Over the next 10 minutes on my skin it really warms up. My skin really eats up the fresh scents and they never stick around. The sweetness really lingers. I'd use this for a night out on the town as well, definitely alittle too morning after for my office. I really like it! Jenn

Imp: Straight from imp all I can smell is the leather and it's strong! I was alittle afraid to put it on my skin, but curiousity got the better of me. Wet: The leather settles down on my skin and the lavander pushes it's way to the front. I'm not a fan of lavander, but it's already starting to get more complex. Dry: This warms and rounds out SO well! I'm getting a hint of just about all the notes, save for anything citrus. Definitely a man's scent, but I don't mind smelling like it at all. I can't keep my wrist away from my face! Jenn

Straight from the Imp: A waif of something very like incense, no hint of rose, but there is tiny bit of something floral. Wet: The incense smell is getting alot stronger and more round, the floral I can't smell at all any more. Dry: After about 20 minutes I still can't smell the rose but I'm getting a lovely mix of spicy and I think the orchid is blooming quietly in the background. I really like the smell I'm getting from this! Jenn
