In the vial: Mmmm, a fresh rain. On me: This is such a perfect scent. At the beginning it's very light, like a rainshower, and then gets darker and darker and evokes the image of the sky filling with grey clouds. Finally, it warms up to the point where it smells just like it does here after a hard storm. Verdict: Absolutely fantastic. Yeah, I'd like a bottle of this, too! Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Cypress, pine, earth On me: This is a very sharp, musky, dark green scent. The cypress is extremely recognizable, as is the pine, which starts amping up considerably after a few minutes and smells kind of Christmas-tree-like. I can also smell the juniper and what must be ambergris. This scent is strong, but it smells awesome on me. A definite for the winter/fall months. Verdict: Keeper. Probably don't need a bottle, though. Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Minty, with a hint of booze On me: Pretty true to the vial smell. Unfortunately it got a little funky after a while, and my mom had an allergy attack because of it. Verdict: Off to the swap/sale pile. Rating: 2/5

In the vial: This is very light, with a hint of vanilla, coconut, and... something else. On me: My first impression is that this reminds me a LOT of Snake Oil, but lighter. The vanilla (possibly tonka?) is sweet, but not overly foody or overpowering. It's lovely. There is definitely a hint of coconut - the same one that's used in Snow White. I also smell white musk as well as something sharp and mineral. The vanilla & mineral scents are the most prevalent though. I also found that this perfume is strong enough to make me happy, and light enough for my mom not to go all allergic on me. Later: WOW. This scent has INCREDIBLE staying power and very good throw. 10+ hours after I applied it, it was still going strong! Verdict: It reminds me of this White Musk scent that I used to wear in high school, but more sophiticated and definitely sweeter. It's a light scent, but really lovely, and I am enjoying it. Big bottle? Definitely! Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Cocoa & vanilla. On me: It's amazing how the sandalwood comes out when it hits my skin! This is now all sandalwood followed by cocoa, then very sweet vanilla, and finally myrrh, but I really don't notice it. It comes out a bit more as it dries, but it still hides out in the background. The sandalwood really calms down the cocoa and vanilla after a while, too, making it smell less like food and more like fragrance. Haha. Verdict: I like this a lot. At first I didn't think I could use up a bottle, but now that the sandalwood has almost completely calmed down the cocoa and vanilla, I think it would actually make an awesome, comforting scent for the wintertime! Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Eucalyptus and violets. On me: This is mostly eucalyptus and violet, but there's also neroli and mint. I think this scent is alright, but it's very weird. Verdict: I like it, in a way, but my husband does not like it at all ("Eucalyptus," he said. "Eucan-suck-it!"). So it goes into the swap/sale pile. Rating: 2/5

... He is a Hermetic Magician's hero for the ages, and his scent is an elegant, timeless, truly refined cologne, bold yet classic: gilded amber, hypnotic lavender, brash carnation and deep mosses. In the vial: Light, spicy, sugary florals On me: Wow, this is all carnation at first, lots of floral and spiciness. After it starts drying, I can then smell the lavender and mosses, and the warmth of the amber. This is a fabulous blend! Verdict: This is awesome - it's resiny, floral, spicy, and slightly green, even - all in one scent! I definitely would like to get a bottle! Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Creamy lavender. On me: It smells like an extremely sweet lavender with a bit of musk and a lot of ozone... and oh, maybe a hint of vanilla too, giving it the same creamy lavender that I got from the vial. Yum! It smells like lavender candy. I want to eat it. Verdict: Bottle. Now, please. Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Coconut and hazelnut On me: This is mostly coconut and hazelnut on me. White musk hovers in the background. Verdict: I like this scent, I think. It reminds me of being on a cruise in the Caribbean. I'll have to give it a try when I take my cruise this summer! Rating: 3/5

In the vial: Herbs, spices, something citrusy. On me: Herby. Also, way too lemony for my preference. Ugh. Verdict: It'd be a nice scent without the lemon. Not for me. Rating: 2/5

In the vial: Dragon's Blood and Amber On me: Surprisingly light and sweet! I did NOT expect this! I was really thinking this scent would be dark and a bit overpowering on me, but it's fantastic. It appears that the amber has kept the dragon's blood from amping up too much on my skin. It's a sweet scent on me, but the amber warms it considerably. It's just lovely! Verdict: I really like this a lot. I'll have to give it a few more tries before I put it on my bottle wishlist, but it's really great. Rating: 5/5

In the vial: "electric" mints and musk. On me: Very minty. Oakmoss. Musk. I absolutely adore this scent. It is very uplifting and makes me feel good in general. It also smells great on me! Verdict: Bottle, please! Rating: 5/5

In the vial: Pure milk chocolate. On me: Pure milk chocolate! Yum! Verdict: It smells yummy on me, but I likely will use this either as a layering scent or just not wear it too frequently. As much as I love chocolate, I don't think I want to smell like it all the time. Rating: 3/5

In the vial: Mmmm, this is warm and sweet! On me: Upon application, this is all sage and sweet pea. As it dries, it warms up. The vanillaish tonka scent adds even more sugary sweetness. This smells really lovely on my skin. Verdict: This is such a pretty scent! I really like it a lot. Keeping my imp for sure. Rating: 4/5
