at first: sweet, light, and floral. a very happy scent. on: the sharpness of the lemon peel comes out, along with the sweet musk. lovely, lovely stuff. 1 hour later: sweet and floral. very pretty. 2.5 hours later: soft, warm, and summery. still sweet. the notes really blend together well, so i'm just getting a nice, yellow/orange feeling from this. 4 hours later: sweet, soft, and musky. overall: this is really, really pretty, but i'm not sure about it. i might need to test it out a few more times.

at first: bright and sweet, with a bite of pepper. on: very warm from the pepper, but still bright. this is sweet and floral, too. an interesting combination. 1.5 hours later: lovely. this is hard to describe. the freshness of the tea is definitely there and the orange blossom is nice and powdery. lovely. 4.5 hours later: soft, sweet fruit. 7 hours later: gone. overall: this was really nice, and i'm glad the orange blossom didn't turn on me, but it isn't a keeper.

at first: sweet, heavy cherry, a mix of musks, and sharp lavender. interesting. on: the cherry and rose are mixing with the red musk. it's an interesting combination, but i'm not sure if i like it. the herbal lavender scent isn't as strong as in the imp and is hiding out in the background. half an hour later: vaguely herbal. i think my skin is eating this one. 4 hours later: pretty much gone. overall: my skin just ate this oil up. it's a shame, really, because the combination fo the cherry and the lavender was intriguing. i added a bit more later and the drydown was nice, but not as strong as i prefer.

at first: a pleasant, fresh scent with a hint of sweetness. on: wow. lots of cherry blossom. i don't tend to do well with any note with "blossom" in the name, so i'm afraid it will overpower the other notes, which all look good. half an hour later: the dragon's blood is creeping forward more now, giving this a nice, full sweetness. the other notes are very fresh and green. nice. 4 hours later: just generally fresh and soft. overall: i haven't had much luck with the asian-themed moons and this is no exception.

at first: woodsy incense. on: i think i'm getting a hint of lavender and possibly anise. very interesting. it's still mostly an incensy smell, but more herbal. 1 hour later: soft, slightly sweet incense. 2 hours later: there's an almost fruity feel to the incense in this blend. sort of odd, but nice. 5.5 hours later: soft and sweet. overall: i'm really glad i got to try this, but it isn't a keeper for me.

at first: sweet and very, very damp. on: this smells very watery and dark, with a wonderful sweetness to it. i can't quite pick out any notes. there's something floral to the sweet note, though. 1 hour later: ozoney and sharp, but still very, very wet. definitely an aquatic scent. still slightly sweet. 2 hours later: a salty, watery ozone scent. 5.5 hours later: vaguely watery. the ozone note is gone. overall: i like this at first, but i just don't get along with ozone scents.

at first: sharp, but dry. there's a bit of incense in the background, too. this isn't a very comforting scent. on: very dry with a hint of incense. an odd, desolate scent. 1.5 hours later: the incense is coming forward more, but there's another note (the dry one) that seems really familiar to me. i can't quite place it, though. 3 hours later: this is so interesting. dry, vaguely sweet, and mascuiline, with that background of light incense. 4.5 hours later: a dusty, dry, sweet flower. i can't quite place it, but i like it a lot. 6.5 hours later: gorgeous. sweet and powdery, and very, very dry. overall: i love this. i don't know why, but i do. i'm not sure it's bottle-worthy, but i'll be keeping my imp around.
-
at first: super sweet almonds or cherries. on: this is even sweeter now. this totaly reminds me of maraschino cherry juice. 1.5 hours later: lighter. there's something powdery to this. it isn't as overtly sweet. 3 hours later: my skin seems to be eating this oil. it's just vaguely sweet now. 4.5 hours later: still vaguely sweet, but pretty nondescript. overall: i'm glad i was able to try this one out, but it didn't really do anything for me.
-
at first: sweet orange and slightly sharp bergamot, with some earthy notes underneath. on: a very animalistic scent. the orange offsets it nicely. 2 hours later: soapy (probably from the bergamot, if i know my skin at all) and sharp. it still has an animalistic base and a hint of orange. 5.5 hours later: still sharp and soapy, but nice, soft, and orangey if i don't sniff too closely to my skin. 7 hours later: the musk is coming out and making things more smooth and sweet. there's still a hint of the orange, overall: this just isn't a "me" scent, but i'm glad i got to try it. it isn't bad at all and is really interesting and pretty at times.

at first: sweet, wet flowers. on: definitely aquatic, but with lovely sweet flowers. very, very pretty. 3 hours later: soft, creamy flowers. 4.5 hours later: sweet lotus and other flowers. overall: this is really, really pretty on me, but i don't think i'll wear it often.
-
at first: lots of sharp lavender and neroli. i'm not getting any lotus. on: sharp, almost bitter neroli with a bit of lavender. very different and pretty nice for a warmer day. refreshing. 1 hour later: oh, wow. this is bad. really bad. like rotting wood. i hate my skin chemistry sometimes. 2.5 hours later: salty, odd wood. overall: i wish that this stayed the same after drying down as it was when i first applied it, but...what can you do?
-
at first: sweet, but with a fresh, dirt scent. on: very light. definitely dirt, but with something almost like pennyroyal. interesting. this also has the same sort of vibe as black opal, so i'm wondering if it has something in common with that. 3.5 hours later: light, clean, and sweet. overall: this is definitely a dirtier version of black opal on me. lovely!
-
at first: dark, like fresh dirt. also, this stuff is THICK! unreal. it looks more like a syrup than an oil. on: generally earthy, but very, very light. i was expecting a very strong scent from this super-thick oil, but it's surprisingly gentle. 2 hours later: very light. this is quite comforting and simple on me. just a taste of dirt. 3 hours later: still light dirt, with a hint of sweetness. 4.5 hours later: still about the same. overall: i LOVE this! it's comforting and simple. i think it will be great for layering with other scents when i want a bit of added depth.

at first: sweet flowers. on: soapy flowers and sweet flowers and ridiculously heady flowers. when i smell this, i get a soapy taste in my mouth. how odd. 1.5 hours later: a lush, warm, floral bouquet. i can't pick out any specific notes from this. 3 hours later: just generally warm and floral. overall: like many other scents that have a lot of florals, this ended up being boring on me. poor me.
-
at first: a sweet, heady floral. on: there's something a tad spicy to this, but in a floral way. there's a hint of sweetness, but not much. it's languorous sort of floral. very nice. 1 hour later: softer, but still a nice, lazy scent. 2.5 hours later: dark, somewhat sweet, and powdery. lovely stuff. 3.5 hours later: powdery and lovely. overall: this is very dark. it would be perfect for a lazy night of drinking wine. wonderful.
-
at first: kitchen-y...if that makes any sense. like lemon, soap, herbs, and a lot of sunlight. on: a lot like in the bottle, except that it's a bit more herbal now. 1 hour later: more citrus and herbal now. 4 hours later: very light. this smells clean and fresh. overall: lovely, lovely stuff. it's a really cheery, home-y scent.
-
at first: sweet, light, and airy. on: very hard to describe. it's a bit sweet, almost smoky, and still very light and airy. 1 hour later: light and dusty. a bit sweet and possibly a hint of some sort of wood. 4 hours later: faint, but still vaguely sweet. overall: this is really hard to describe, but i like it a lot.
-
at first: mostly cocoa with a bit of sweet, red dragon's blood. on: still mostly cocoa and dragon's blood. very nice and dark without being heavy. 1 hour later: red and brown. some sweetness. this is very nice. the notes are melding together into a heavy, deep scent. lovely. 3 hours later: sweet, but with a sharpness to it. i think the vetiver is coming out. 9 hours later: a soft, sweet, earthy scent. it's still very strong on the vetiver. overall: this is nice at first, but there's just too much vetiver for me.
-
at first: strong incense. on: i think there's a lot of myrrh in this, which probably won't end up being a good thing. 2 hours later: very sweet, resinous incense. 8 hours later: incensy and resinous. overall: this is really nice on me. in fact, it's beautiful. however, i like my midnight mass a lot more.
-
at first: a light, licorice-y, herbal scent. on: a very smooth licorice scent. 45 minutes later: more truly basil-like to my nose. it has a bit of a sharp edge to it. very green and fresh. lovely and kitcheny. overall: this did end up fading pretty quickly on me. i'm glad i got to try it, but i'm sure i won't be using it.
-
at first: very, very sweet almond. on: all almond. scarily so. 1 hour later: very sweet musk. a pretty, sexy scent. 2 hours later: a sweet, powdery musk. overall: i can't believe how nicely this turned out. i thought for sure it would remain completely almondy, but it ended up being a lovely musk. gorgeous stuff.
-
at first: sweet red wine. on: still that sweet red wine, but with the brightness of mimosa lightening it up. i can almost catch a hint of clove. 1 hour later: a fruity wine scent. lovely. 2 hours later: a bit lighter, but still fruity wine. overall: very nice, but i like the heavier wine blends better on me.
-
at first: lots of rose and lilac, along with another floral that i'm not familiar with, which must be the wisteria. on: lots and lots of lilac. i actually can't smell the rose or wisteria. 1 hour later: a lovely floral blend. all three notes are mixed really well, so this just smells like a fabulous bouquet. 2 hours later: rose, with a hint of lilac. overall: this was very pretty on me, but i have other rose blends that i like better on me.
-
at first: strong. fruity, floral, and bright. on: lots of smooth, creamy flowers and amber. nice and light. 1 hour later: earthy and sweet, with some lovely flowers and some fresh tea. 3 hours later: still very pretty. lovely white flowers and rose. overall: this is definitely a lovely floral. not too sweet, but not too generically floral.
-
at first: earthy with the freshness of juniper. on: tons of myrrh! 1 hour later: all myrrh. 3 hours later: there's some oakmoss now, too, but the myrrh is also still really strong. overall: this just isn't something i would wear.
