Dragon's Claw... I get far less of the blood in this one than I have in the other Ars Draconis scents that I have tried. This is more a smoky-incensy sandalwood scent. I'm not sure if I like it or not, may have to go for another trial before I decide one way or the other.

Ah hah! I found you! I'm a cinnamoholic who can't take the a lot of the other notes in most of the blends. So far, my cinnamon loves are Inferno, Uranus, Wrath and Eclipse. I couldn't wear Chimera, Priala, Highwayman, or Bengal. So far in my BPALdom, I haven't even looked heavily at the Snake Pit, but I notice in the search that Saw-scaled Viper has cinnamon and ginger (which I also am rather fond of) in it. But what is cassia like? And does the cinnamon really pop out a lot? Same with Bloodlust and Al-shairan: is there a lot of patchouli in these?

Sagittarius This was my first oil with dandelion in it, and I wasn't prepared for how awesome it can smell.. I must amp some of the fig as well, because it's a sweet scent. I was not completely sure I would like this one just because of the notes in it, but it's a definite keeper!

Men Ringing Bell with Penises... This will be my first time trying out a scent with a lot of these notes in it. All I'm getting out of Penises is...sweet. Possibly a bit of the Sandalwood, reminiscent of Hunger Moon. Upon first sniff, I was rightly enthused about trying it. But after wearing it for a few hours, it almost fades to nothing on me. Nice at first, but the staying power just isn't there.

Night Thoughts - I have to say I'm not getting the woodsy out of this oil that other people are. It's simply a musky-floral. At one point in the day, I thought there was a bit of BO smell coming out, but that quickly passed and maybe was something (someone???) at work that I walked by - I had thought, perhaps, the herbs were finally making an appearance. Despite the rambling in the above paragraph, it's a lovely scent if you amp musks like I do.

The Presence of Love I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical of this one. Maybe because I saw "rose" and didn't read any more of the description. Regardless, Presence of Love blew me away. It's a sweet scent, not overbearingly so. I do get the impression that there should be a fruit in there somewhere, which I suspect is the grapefruit (although it doesn't smell grapefruity or even citrusy at all.) On my skin, the musk comes out to play and meshes with the grapefruit and jasmine to create a wrist-sniffingly awesome scent. This is definitely bottle worthy.

The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife The art that inspired this one creeps me out and amuses me at the same time, plus the mint note and I was sure I had to try it. In the vial, I get an overbearing wash of aquatic notes with a hint of sweetness. Upon applying to skin, not much had changed between the two. Hours later: once the initial aquatic fades away, all I'm left with is a honey note on my skin. Still no mint to speak of. While it's a lovely scent, I think I'll just stick with my decant.

The Passionate Shepard to His Love I believe I got this decant on a whim thinking it would be a little more woodsy/earthy (I see moss!) than it actually is. In the vial it smells exactly like a field of clover, which gets my inner child going ! Upon application to the skin, the florals come out to play a little more over the clover. It's another soft, exquisite scent. Shepard is made of win!

Moon of Ice Every time I get another of Beth's snow blends, I'm blown away. And I could never choose a favorite. This one is another chilly, minty snow blend with a hint of sweetness under it all. It's a soft, but sweet scent. Definitely up there in the snowy blends..and a definite winner with me.

Defututa Right out of the vial, I was considering getting a bottle of this oil. Usually honey + vanilla makes me run for the hills or makes me think of cakes having a food fight on my skin. Somehow, Defututa managed to smell almost fruity with a bit of sweet incense in the background. And it lasts for hours.

Love's Torments In the bottle, it was heavy..a bit bitter smelling. I'm no expert on vetiver or neroli, so I can't say it was either. Upon applying this oil to my skin, I believe the white sandalwood came out to play, as the oil lightened. Having not read the ingredients when I put it on, I was almost sure there was musk in Love's Torments as well. I think this one needs a second trial run before I can decide what to do with it.

Re: Muses I have all of them, one of my "to do" list items is to take photos and upload them. I was looking through the photos the other day and saw a of bottles in general bunch missing that I can add. Thank you in advance!

Chaos Theory III: MXCIII (1093) This one has a definite medicinal/herby scent to it. Upon applying, it BURNS like an SOB. There's no cinnamon that I could tell, so there must be something I haven't tried up until this point that can also cause my skin to burn. Upon application, my skin really amped this CT to the point where I was beginning to get a headache from it. Last reviewed by cranberry.

I'm afraid I got none of the notes promised out of Calliope. Quite frankly, she smelled like wet sneakers.

Harlot For all the roses in this one, I'd thought for sure I'd be running for the hills searching for a soap powerful enough to get it off. I have to say, I may be a convert. Maybe not fully, and maybe it's because my beloved Cinnamon is in there to tone the roses down (I amp cinnamon to the nth degree.) Harlot will need a second run.

Brown Jenkins A spicy-sweet scent. I had originally thought there was vanilla in this one until I looked it up. Nope. Coconut masquerading as vanilla. If there was a bit more incense or musk, I might be able to find this one wearable.

I haven't yet, but when I get going, I can make a pretty decent dent in bottles when I use them as room scents. I used nearly half of my bottle of Oblation in about 2 weeks just by using it in my diffuser every few days. For wearing the oil, though, I don't think I'll ever make it through one bottle. I'm one of those people who can amp scents for hours with just the tiniest hint of oil.

Little did I know I had one of the Muses lurking at the bottom of my "try it" box. Damnit. I find Melpomene to be an uplifting scent. She is a light floral with a hint of sweetness that makes be able to wear her without turning soapy. I wish I could have bought a bottle before she was discontinued.

Upon first whiff of Athens, I could have sworn there was pepper in this. I see now that the culprit could be my nemesis: myrrh. Unfortunately, this one goes bitter and gross. And, unfortunately, because my skin amps myrrh like I can't believe, I had a peppery-spicy headache. Pass.

In the vial La Belle seems a bit muskier than the sweetness that comes out on my skin. On my skin there is the slightest breeze of florals, but it's primarily a juicy pear. It is truly a beautiful scent, definitely a summery one. But she doesn't last very long on me.

I've had Deep Ones lurking around in my "keep it!" box for a while now. And while I'm generally not an ultra-aquatic person (subtle, yes) this one is quite pretty...even though I'm sure it wasn't meant to be as such. I really do get the effect of growing algae and briny water from The Deep Ones.

The Panaceas all come with a triple dagger in heart label, like the BPTP locket. Ars Draconis has purple labels with pink writing, but I can't remember for the life of me what kind of design was on them, if any. The Muses that were recently discontinued had really pretty pictures - I especially loved Erato's label, but sadly not her scent. I remember Night-Gaunt, Shoggoth, and Miskatonic University having parchment-colored labels and their names really large in a cool looking font. And... that's all I can remember at the moment. =) I agree. If someone would be kind enough to upload some of them as well. I can upload Urania.

Your wish is my command; I just posted the B Movies in the label gallery. Thank you! And those are awesome. *drools* Too bad I can only convince myself to get decants.

Does anyone have Lupercalia or B Movies labels yet?

War is one of my favorites, I guess because of the musk. I wore today for the first time in a while, and just recalled how spicy it is. It stays spicy for hours on my skin. After about the six hour mark, it goes soft and sweet for a while, then back to the original spiciness. I'd never noticed the sweet before, which is odd. Great throw all workday though!
