This one is a really beautiful, fresh-smelling aquatic on me. It's much less minty than Lick It. I think it would be the perfect summer scent, and I'd definitely buy a bottle if it made a reappearance.

This one is sweet, strong, and minty! It's actually kind of overpowering, and not something I'd usually wear as perfume, but it is very refreshing and yummy smelling. Maybe I'll keep my decant around for when I need a little olfactory kick in the derriere.

This is a strong fruity floral with some serious throw. It would be a great scent for springtime. Unfortunately, the rose amps on my skin and turns a little bit old ladyish, but for people who can wear rose, this is a beautiful blend.

This reminds me a whole lot of Scherezade--must be the red musk. It also smells vaguely spicy, dusty, and fruity. I like it but don't love it.

Oh, WOW! TKO is a calming, relaxing blend that contains lavender and actually smells good! It smells really sweet and happy, not at all medicinal like Somnus. I would actually wear this one as a perfume. As far as effectiveness, I actually think Somnus is a little more effective for me, but this one is just so much more pleasant smelling, that I think I will wear it much more regularly and therefore gain more benefit from it. Must get bottle ASAP.

I get tea, lemongrass, and honey with an initial blast of mint from this. It's really lovely, and it would be a great refreshing scent for summer. I'm craving autumnal scents right now, but I think I'll be getting a bottle of Gennivre next summer before the Carnaval rolls out of town.

I really have nothing new to add to all the reviews above: CHOCOLATE SNOW WHITE In the imp, it's all chocolate, but once applied, it is gorgeous sweet cream and dries down to a very chilly, creamy floral that is remarkable in its resemblance to SW. But I like the Candy Butcher better because: 1) Yay chocolate! and 2) much less plasticky, at least on my skin. This is another one I'll be hoarding for sure.

I like this blend a lot--it's clean and citrussy, and definitely more of a stimulating scent than Moxie, at least to me. It doesn't last very well, but it might work better in a scent locket, as others have mentioned.

Relaxation, calm, finding center. This scent is very quiet and calming. It's slightly green, although I don't get olives specifically from it. I think it would work well for its intended purpose, although it's not something I'd wear just because I liked the scent.

I agree with other who say this is similar to Dorian, but it's much heavier on the musk and lighter on the beautiful, creamy vanilla. I like it, but Dorian is just more my style.

This smells a lot like Kunstkammer to me: slightly spicy, candied oranges. The throw isn't incredibly strong, but the scent doesn't morph much and lasts well. I do like it, but I prefer Megaera for a candied orange smell and Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo for a perking-me-up sort of scent, so I probably won't get a bottle.

This one starts out very almondy, with a hint of something very earthy, probably the black patchouli. I don't really smell the pine at all. The smoke does come out as the almond disappears. It's a very interesting scent, but I don't think it's one I'd wear much, so my decant will probably go off to swaps.

I was pleasantly surprised by Xanthe. I was expecting bubblegummy or candylike, but what I smell is actually quite a bit more complex and mature. It is fruity, to be sure, but the apple blossoms are prominent on my skin and balance out the fruit quite nicely. And the pepper keeps the sugar from taking over and turning the whole blend syrupy. Another masterful blend, and one to add to my ever-growing wishlist!

I almost didn't even order a decant of Pulcinella and Teresina, so scared am I of cedar and rose. But this is a beautiful scent! The deep woods and resins keep the rose from turning powdery or soapy, and the rose adds a delicacy to the woods, keeping them from turning too masculine. This is why I'm on a mission to try so many BPAL scents--occasionally they are really pleasantly surprising! I don't know if I'll be getting a bottle or not, but will definitely consider it after some more testing.

I tested this one out yesterday, and I think I have a new top 10 favorite! I love the sugared incense smell, and the flowers aren't overwhelming. They kind of drift in and out of the scent, so sometimes they are barely even noticeable. The scent is peaceful and comforting, and just makes me happy. I will definitely be getting a bottle.

White musk, wild plum, vetiver, black coconut, verbena, fig, and lavender. I get mostly plum and musk from this, and it smells really great. The verbena isn't overpowering, and neither is the vetiver. Unfortunately, this didn't last really well for me, but it's still a really nice blend, and I could see it working as a unisex scent. It's very cheerful, too!

When first applied, this is nothing but jasmine, sharp and unpleasant. After the jasmine has faded, I get a beautiful, sweet, powdery violet vanilla, but unfortunately, I just don't enjoy the initial jasmine blast, so I think this will have to move on to a new home.

Sweet, powdery, light rose. Thankfully, I don't smell like an old lady in this, but I'm still not sure it's quite my style. I guess I just can't wear rose blends.
-
At first, this is all lemon on me. When it dries, it turns rather soapy, which is really confusing since there's no rose in this one! I usually love blends with amber, but this one just doesn't work with my skin chemistry.
-
Hmm...this is not the sort of scent I usually like, but there's something intriguing about it. It's slightly sharp and masculine, but the floral aspect tempers the sharpness. It's a very familiar scent to me, although I can't quite place it. It's a scent that works well, but it's just not my style.
-
I thought I'd love this one, but alas, it was not to be. The verbena just drowns out all the other notes on my skin, then fades to absolutely nothing. No ginger, no amber, nada. Off to a better home!

This is a really pretty, girly blend. At first, I smell apples, honey, and a hint of peach. When it dries, the rose comes out too, but it isn't overly old-ladyish like many rose notes can turn on me. The scent is very delicate, and I think it would be perfect for springtime. The only thing holding me back from buying a bottle is that I have lots of other peach, honey, and apple scents that I love too. So...I'll be keeping the imp and making the bottle determination later. Overall, another winner!

In the imp, this smells like a powdery cherry almond. On my skin, though, it turns absolutely rancid smelling. I can't even describe it, other than just smelling "not right." This could be a lovely scent on the right person, but it's not one that agrees with my skin chemistry at all.

This one is just a little too piney for me to wear as a fragrance, although I agree that it would be good for making bath products. Very invigorating!

Lyonesse is gorgeous. In its wet stage, it reminded me a bit of Antique Lace's floral vanilla, but when dry, the amber really comes out. It's like beautiful, liquid sunshine. I haven't met a BPAL amber I didn't like, but this is one of the best. It's really feminine and cheerful, and I just love it! I will be getting a bottle, for sure.
