Wet: lemon. Then, smoky lemon. Dry: Sweet, smoky musk. This is really nice! Not sure if I need a bottle, but I'll keep my decant.

I almost didn't even try this one because of the patchouli, but wow, am I ever glad that I did! In the imp, it's almost all cherry, but as others have noted, the spices really bloom once it's on the skin. It smells like fruity cinnamon red hots. But these are expensive red hots! The patchouli behaves itself very nicely, just adding some depth to the scent. Oh dear, I think I'm going to need a bottle.

Red musk, vanilla bean, pomegranate, patchouli leaf and wild plum. When I opened this one up and took a big whiff, I was really nervous because it smelled very sharply of patchouli and little else. On my skin, though...to die for. Drop-dead sexy. Nose glued to wrist. The blend is so smooth, slightly sweet but spicy and musky and deep. It's not for the faint of heart, but I do think it's more subtle than its cousins Snake Charmer, Snake Oil, and Smut. And I think I've found a new favorite! This will be hoarded in mass quantities, oh yes!

Honey Moon contains five different honeys, ranging from pale and sweet to deep and heady, with hints of jasmine, white gardenia, Hawaiian white ginger and thyme. This scent is all honey and jasmine on my skin. Miraculously, the jasmine behaves itself and doesn't overpower the honey. The scent is pretty light, with little throw. It's beautiful, and I'm sorry I missed out on getting a bottle when it was released!

I didn't read the description before testing this, and I could have sworn it was an aquatic. It's light, fresh, and a very happy sort of scent. Who knew it was a floral? I don't even like florals, but this is OMG fantastic! It smells very green, which may be what saves the flowers from becoming too sweet. Wishlist!

Wet: Almonds and spice, so yummy. Dry: Keeps morphing between spicy marzipan and soapy aquatic. Love the marzipan; the soap, not so much. Swap.

The ghostly White Women of the Scottish highlands. They seduce unwary travelers by night with their unearthly beauty and mesmerizing dancing. They engage their victims in a wild, hypnotic dance, and once they reach exhaustion, the demonesses exsanguinate their partners with their vampiric kiss. Talk about a quick courtship. Grapefruit, white tea, apple blossom and ginger. I thought I'd love this from the description, but sadly, all I get is citrussy powder. It's not offensive, but it's not something I need to keep in my collection.

In the imp and wet on my skin, this is so fruity and delicious. But as soon as it dries, the patchouli takes over. I'm not usually a fan of patchouli, although I've found some BPAL patchouli blends that work for me. This, however, is evil, rank, nasty patchouli. It's really too bad, because if the patch had behaved itself, I think this would have been a favorite.

This is a really lovely apple scent! It doesn't turn on me like many apple scents do, and it is very fresh and pretty. Wishlist!

A very light, feminine, beautiful floral. I'm not sure if I need a bottle, but that's only because I like my scents a little louder. This one is very subtle, but I might wear it when I'm feeling girly and demure. I'll keep the imp and try it again!

This is turning into something totally different on me than it seems like other reviewers are experiencing. To me, it smells like Scherezade, or possibly Snake Oil with less sweetness. I do smell sweet foodiness in the bottle, but on my skin it becomes very earthy, and I want to say there's patchouli in there even though that's not in the description. I do like the scent, just not as much as I like the two just mentioned, so I believe I will be swapping this.

Mmmmm....pumpkin, cocoa, and hazelnut are all good things to smell like, and here they are blended wonderfully. I think this may be my favorite of the Pumpkin Patches. Edit: I spoke too soon. The hazelnut and cocoa did weird things on my skin, obliterating the pumpkin and turning the scent plasticky. Sigh.

Yup, smells like lollipops and bubblegum. Maybe a hint of something perfumey. It's not bad, but not something I'd go out of my way to wear when there are so many other fantabulous BPAL scents.

At first, I smell the sweet honey and have high hopes. Until, that is, the evil gardenia shows up and drowns out any other notes that might possibly be lurking. Sigh.

I'm not sure about this one. It does smell foody and has great throw and lasting power, but it turns just a little bit musty on my skin. I'm going to test it again to see if it's just a weird hormonal thing, but right now I'd have to say that it's not one of my favorite dessert-type scents from BPAL.

This was an oil I had such high hopes for that I ordered two bottles unsniffed--one from a lovely forumite and one from ebay. And in the bottle, it is all that I hoped it would be--delicious, saffrony, woody vanilla. Unfortunately, my skin eats this oil. I could barely smell it right after I put it on. I think I must be the only person this happened to. So, even though I am usually a hoarder, I think I need to set these bottles free.

When you need something comforting or cheering

If you like the warm spiciness of Gingerbread Poppet, you might like Bengal. Another scent I find really comforting is Alice, which smells like milky, sweet, spicy tea. I hope you find something you love! -
Nostalgia encapsulated. A soft, wistful blend of dry flowers, aged linens, and the faint breath of long-faded perfumes. This is a girly, powdery, delicate scent. I smell vanilla and florals equally, and for something so light and subtle, it still has noticeable throw. I can definitely see why it's so popular, and I'm glad it's in my big bottle collection!

This is just jasmine on me. While I like jasmine in some blends, it's just too much by itself. Another floral that doesn't like me!

This reminds me of those orange-flavored chocolates you can buy around Christmastime. After it dries, an herbal note comes out and joins the candyish sweetness. That sounds kind of odd, but it actually works quite nicely. I find this scent strangely intriguing, and I'll be keeping this imp to test some more.

This is a great unisex scent if you're looking for something light and fresh. It's a bit too generic perfume/aftershave for my tastes though, so off to swaps.
-
This scent starts out light, sharp, and crisp, but it turns a bit sour on my skin. I'm not sure which note is the culprit, but mimosa and orange blossom are ones I might suspect. Alas, my imp will have to find a new home.
-
This is a very spicy scent, but the drydown is sweet and dusty. It's pleasant, but I prefer Bengal and Scherezade for my spicy scents, so I think I'll pass this one on to a more loving home.

To me, this smells like fizzy orange candy, or maybe orange soda. I like it! It's a glorious, uplifting, juicy scent that stays true. I need some more!

I smell mostly flowers and incense, with a hint of bergamot. It's a mellow scent with a hint of something sharp. It's nice, but not my type of scent.
