In the imp and wet on my skin, I get fresh, sweet coconut and buttery rum. Dry on my skin, it has a bit of a plastic note. Boo. I'm hoping the plastic is just a fluke, because otherwise, this scent is a love. I'll be keeping my imp and hoping for the best.

I smell the dragon's blood and the cassia most prominently in this. It's both sweet and fiery and reminds me of cinnamon red hots. It actually bears more than a passing resemblance to Blood Moon, at least on my skin. I love the fact that the patchouli an smoke stay nicely in the background. This is a great scent, and I'd probably buy a bottle immediately if I didn't already have Blood Moon and a few other great spicy scents. As it is, I'll keep my imp and definitely consider a bottle purchase in the future.

This blend is predominantly patchouli on my skin, and something is going a little wonky. I can see this being gorgeous with the right skin chemistry, and I might play with it again a few times just to be sure it isn't working. It actually settles down quite well into a nice spicy blend, but the beginning phase of it does not agree with me.

This is nothing at all like what I expected. I thought it would be heavy and dark, but it's actually light and feminine. I smell the florals, a hint of vanilla, and some musk, but the patchouli is hiding in the background. I'm not really getting much ginger either, but I still love it. Gorgeous, and I'm so glad to have a bottle of this!

I smell chocolate, orange, coconut, and mint. It's quite delicious and very unique. It definitely smells like candy and not perfume, so I won't be reaching for it every day, but I'm glad to have a bottle.

I definitely second (or third maybe) Bengal and Madame Moriarty for spicy goodness. Also, if you like red musk and fruit, Mania is a wonderful new blend which has both.

White Light smells, to me, like comfort. I can't pick out any notes at all, but it just smells sweet and warm and snuggly. And it works! I was feeling drained and grumpy today for a variety of reasons, but after anointing my chakras and palms with White Light and taking a deep breath or two, I really was able to let go of the negativity and do what I needed to do for the rest of the day. This is an oil I don't ever want to be without.

I'm not getting any apple from this, and it's making me sad. Instead, this is a soft, slightly green floral on my skin. It's nice enough, but doesn't wow me like so many BPAL scents do. I'll be swapping away my imp.

This is a gorgeous, slightly sweet floral. I smell the peach blossom most prominently, then the lily. Thankfully, the rose never amps up or becomes soapy. The musk anchors it beautifully, but the scent is not noticeably musky. It is just smooth, subtle, feminine, and perfect for almost any occasion. I think a bottle purchase may be in order here!

Wow, a strawberry scent that works for me! This is definitely a sweet, fruity musk. I can barely smell the grapefruit, but I think it's keeping the blend from becoming too sweet. It's a very happy scent, and one I could see myself wearing a lot, especially when the weather gets warm again. I think this will eventually be a 5ml purchase. Wonderful!

The perfume of a hellbound soul, gleefully lost to iniquity: blood musk, golden honey, thick black wine, champagne grapes, tobacco flower, plum blossom, tonka bean, oakmoss, carnation, benzoin, opoponax, and sugar cane. Mmm, honey and grapes. This isn't the dry wine with honey that is in Athens; it's much more about the juicy grapes. After it's dry, a hint of something floral comes out to play. It is a very light, sweet, girly scent. I'd like it more if it had better lasting power, but it is still wonderful, and I'll be holding onto my imp.

This is absolutely gorgeous. It smells very chilly and snowy, and I also can pick out the lemon and tea. No peach, which I would have loved, but that's ok. If this ever made a reappearance, I would absolutely get a bottle. But for now, I will treasure my imp from the lovely darkling.

I almost didn't order this, because I really didn't like the old version at all. But the new one is positively swoon-worthy. On me, it starts out as a lavender vanilla with a hint of citrus. As it dries, the citrus dissipates and the florals emerge, and I think I smell the rooibos too. After a few hours, a faintly sweet skin scent remains. This has just skyrocketed into my top 5, and I am so sad I only bought one bottle. I shall now be off to stalk the swaps for a backup. Fabulous!

Hmmm...I'm not getting the hairspray vibe that others have mentioned. To me, this is a very expensive-smelling, sophisticated, smoky floral. It feels like a scent to save for special occasions. It's definitely not the type of scent I usually wear, but it's very well done and very sexy.

On me, this is a very faint, sweet sandalwood. Sandalwood tends to fade to nothing on my skin, so this one doesn't have as much oomph as I'd like. Still, it's a soothing and grounding scent, and I'll probably keep the imp.

This is surprisingly sweet and berryish. Usually, pine dominates any blend on me, but this is a nice balance of berry, pine, and wood. It's a fresh scent that also has depth, and it would work equally well on a man or a woman. I'll definitely be keeping my imp.

This is a nice fresh floral. It doesn't turn soapy or old-ladyish at all. I like it but don't think I would wear it enough to warrant getting a bottle.

I can't really put my finger on why this scent doesn't work for me. The notes just don't seem to work well together on my skin, and I end up smelling like flower petals mixed with cigarette butts. Not pretty.

I have weirdo chemistry that chews up sandalwood and spits it out, so unfortunately, all I smell is sweet dragon's blood. It's ok, but I don't need to keep it.

A rose blend that doesn't turn to soap on my skin!!! Ahem. This is a gorgeous soft floral, sweet and with a hint of spice from the carnation. It's gorgeous! I'll be keeping my imp and may need a bottle in the future.

In the bottle, this smells murky. I can't pick out much of anything, other than a hint of citrus. I don't have high hopes for it, honestly. On my skin... Yummy resins and spices. A hint of rose, but it's not soapy. And also, just a little bit of that elusive BPAL "chilly" scent. I've truly never smelled anything like it. I may need another bottle before it goes away, especially since I just decanted an imp for swapping. Amazing!

I'm not sure what I think of Sol Invictus. It is definitely a deep, warm scent, but other than that, it's really difficult to describe. There's amber there, without a doubt, but the citrus isn't knocking me over the head like it seems to do on others. It's so well blended that I can't pick out many individual notes. It starts out strong but, once dry, hovers very close to the skin and becomes softer and more powdery. I do like it, but it's not my favorite BPAL amber blend, and I can't decide if I need more or not.

In the bottle, I smell berries, light florals, and something cold. On my skin, the berries and florals disappear and this becomes all mint and pine. It's very cold and refreshing, and it has some seriously strong throw. I was hoping for a little more complexity, but considering that pine can make a scent unwearable for me, this is surprisingly nice. Not multiple-bottle-hoarding nice, but still lovely. For snowy scents, I still prefer Kumari Kandam and Cloister Graveyard in the Snow.

Strong verbena and tea. I really like this while it lasts, which is unfortunately only about 15 minutes on my skin. Ah well.

This smells dark and swamplike somehow. Must be the moss. It's an interesting interpretation, but not something I want to smell like.
