Berries and moss come out to play though I don't see any molasses here but there's vanilla warmth and it's multiple bottle hoarding for me. The berries are more sour than sweet so it's not overly goody just overly wearable!

no buttery bread here, simmply beer and luscious beer and autumn smoke, and the best substitute for bonfire night ever. Very warm, not stinky, no bready wafting over to me, some cakiness that is warm, altogether perfect on me!

I know you asked me my scent preferences and I admit while I would love to get a sniff of any of the following please dont feel compelled to include bpal in that box you ordered from the post office. In fact, Im heading to a M&S this very weekend so who knows, maybe I will get to sniff some of these! But since you asked, I think the wishlist scents would be FEEDING THE DEAD (probably the most wished for-beer:D) the Boo,Creepy,Devil's Night, and Pumpkin V In other news, now that I have Hammonds Car Confidential I can read about the "most vulgar car"-a 100 ft limo with a king sized water bed and helicopter pad. This is a sort of wonderland of book-all the weird, nutty and beautiful snippets of car lore as seen by one of the hosts of Top Gear-really I love having it, and will think of you whenever I peruse its pages. Now that I've been to the epic Colorado M&S I got to hug some terrific peeps, and smell some great bottles, so in case anyone wants to know I have a wishlist of scents. Chumwick agreed with these. for the most part he behaved himself, and did not spill . He did try to tuck one of LL's felines into my backpack, but that was not to be. Nevertheless, I came home with more bottles and less jewelry so that was good, and new homes were found for bottles that needed adoption!!! One of my BPAL travel boxes was titled "BOTTLES THAT NEED NEW HOMES" and to my relief most of them did!Thank you to everyone. It was a blast meeting you in RL , and despite the pillowfight that never happened had a blast. This was a most wonderful gift from my SW; I am ferociously bad at keeping up with what's new, what's great, what's limited and all that, so when I unscrewed the cap of BAH and was surrounded with a coffehouse; a good coffehouse. I was midway into a cuppa joe without venturing to the coffermaker. No whiskey was discernable from my bottle, and once on my wrists the coffee was smooth, and that's all I really get; a slightly smoky, extremely smooth coffee-and that is why I love it so, and am hoarding my beloved bottle!

have gone through a bottle and now an imp-dark cocoa powder, reminiscent of my beloved LIndt dark chocolate-in the imp it smells too chocolate- however once its on the wrist and drydown smells as if Ive dusted wrist with a bit of vanilla and cocoa mox, but it's not a big WHAT ARE YOU WEARING SCENT! More subtle than it seems in the imp I admit am not tempted to slather, very dry, and you know how some beers note they have a hint of chocolate-well, this is more of a hint, but not syrupy sweet fortunately. Wearable, though I expected to reach for it more than I do; perhaps am scared of nibbling my own wrist!

in the bottle smoke and wood and deep smells..on me it drifts away and smells slightly rubbery on my wrist-not bad, just difficult to sniff out the coffee that I want to be there. Have kept reapplying since it arrived today, but my skin must be eating this up; the moment I apply I get a whiff of coffee with a pinch of cream,and then poof its gone and its all wood and smoke on me>Will give it more time, so far bottle worthy, but with my slathering I may get through half the bottle before the coffee stays on my wrist! ADDED April 24: Ok, today is a whole new day, and now am liking my bottle of the Velvet Dogs playing poker more than I did yesterday. Have slathered pretty freely on the wrists, and instead of coffee I am getting silken smokiness, and it brings up an image of heavy brocade vests that have been worn for a night out and gotten a bit of the smoke into the fabric; but it's not musty or anything.A little while later a smidgen of coffee comes out, and this reminds me of a warm mens cologne but without the ugliness of the alcohol of typical mens cologne. Since I am a scent slut for smoky scents, this is definitely growing on me and my wrists; very sultry smokiness

Ok, here's another wedding attendee third week of March (its in the evening, but is in Massachusetts) I wont know most of the peeps,and even though was invited with a "plus one" do not have a date (chumwick does not count) Now, what to wear, am thinking of getting a dressy skirt and silk blouse kind of thing and as far as bpal am thinking f either Loves Philosophy Huesos de Santos or Dorian (dont like the Snake oil-hides from the masses) Want to be elegant, warm,and was also thinking of wearing O and dress suggestions for a middle aged woman( who wants to cover her arms, and could stand to lose a few pounds) about 5'5' are very welcome! As far as not knowing the relatives and such, its the wedding of the painter across the hall from me, and her bf, and am told there will be an artists table-so whew! Hopefully anything other than my usual cruddy jeans and tshirts will be ok!

yeah this is so warm and comforting-no cinnamon on me, so glad I ordered a bottle,and overcame my urge to economize and orderred another bottle from a forumite last night. This is so comforting; a sleepytime scent for me;could actually let me stop using bonfire night as a warm sleepy scent-um yeah this is strong-when i slather at bedtime and i wake up I can still smell the warm almond boozy scent-yum YUM-a new favorite for me ADDED Nov. 20: this is my new comfort scent that I can wear all day; doesnt smell of cinnamon to me; have already gone through almost half the bottle.warm but more cookie alcohol-if there is such a thing, than hot spice cinnamon-slightly boozy but not OOH whos drinking here? kinda boozy just all around goodness to me-a new favorite! ADDED April 24: Multiple bottle worthy; the only problem is that I might get hungry-I dont smell cookie specifically, but more of the sweet rum on drydown, and after a while my wrist is a buttercookie with a tad of naughty liquor, and I am wondering why I didn't get another bottle.Oh yeah..I did,and I slathered it all up.Apparently I love for my wrist to smell like alcohol-in a good warm way!

this is a gift from my witch deazinn; my second bottle=my firs was also a gift,and if I ever read the notes probably wouldnt have tried it.am so glad I never read the notes-this is warm and cool at the same time-funnily enough it reminds of a 'creamsicle' but in a good non foody way-what a creamsicle would be if it was perfume-which now that I read the notes makes sense-it feels very wearable to me; not one of those scents where Im concerned about wearing too much.. I wouldnt have pegged this as floral, but a soft, silky vanilla with a slight hint of citrus, very clean AND snuggly yet not foody with a slight hint of creaminess that makes me go awwwwwww

bonfire night!!!!!!!!!!

just received an imp of this in a swap(thank you) will have to give it more tries, but it does have a very clean, astringent feeling. I think it will be perfect for hot summer days,somewhat aquatic. Pine cleaner makes it's appearance here; either that or a very clean forest!

It arrived, and at first I just smelled a very light vanilla....and somehow rice pudding maybe with a light , light floral(the hint of floral I got reminded me of a daisy but do daisies smell-hmm) Anyway, I may have overdone the slathering, or found my inital application comes out after a while, turning into a rich cream...buttercream frosting perhaps(in a good way) Then it was dry, and it blended into my day...later on I was at a grill, and the guy manning the grill told me I smelled good. I showed him the bottle,and wrote down the website!! It's a ladylike scent, but not old-fashioned, and by ladylike, I mean not old ladylike, and the ladylike encompasses everyone who wants a slightly warm vanilla that is subtle and could be an everyday favorite. ADDED Feb. 22: cream cream cream, and I just ordered another bottle, after considering that I'd used about a third of my existing bottle.it feels very soft on me once it'sdry,and very faint, and tome,doesn't have much throw, but I still loveit...about the throw I must be wrong,because a friend mentioned that I smelledgood in class the other evening. I just sent him the link tobpalas amatter of fact,and my Love'sPhilosphy did lead to a discussion about french perfume houses. This feels like a "good girl" perfume,but won'tstopme from wearing it. i dont know where the saffronis or went, as it hasn't yet made it's presence known to me, but the vanilla is not too sweet so this is very wearable and worthy of daily slathering.

Ive gotten through whole bottles of Red Lantern, Gingerbread POppet, MIsk U, Drink Me and Bonfire Night-umm I tend to slather I gues-but also I have spilled-but still I figure perfume is there to be used!!!!

warm cream and honey in the bottle...as far as this smelling like baby powder, not on me...but then again sex does sometimes result in babies soo... I get a warm cream and honey and vanilla that lingers ....I tend to slather and dont wanna scare people off with this one, but I am glad that my faves (like this one) are all GC! it might be too heavy for spring and Summer, but by then I will probably have gone through this; my second bottle, as well!

Shub-dark, then comforting ginger...not sickly foody, but grownup ginger...my imp is sadly gone, but the ginger here stayed on me well into the evening and I could catch a hint of it in the morning. it has the comfort of antique lace with a gingery touch so it is more energetic in feeling.
