In the bottle: MINT MINT MINT MINT. That was literally my first reaction, with a few PEPPERMINT’s thrown in. It’s minty in a way that is just glorious and lovely without being overwhelming like mint can easily be. Instead, it’s refreshing, the smell washes over the back of your through like you’ve just taken a cool, cool, drink. So refreshing. On wet: The mint now takes a faintly tangy undertone that’s difficult to describe but still goes nicely. On dry: There’s now also a faintly earthy note and the tangy note has gotten stronger but it is still, overall, that glorious mint smell.

In the bottle: The laurel, lilly and general woody scents are what stick out to me at first. Like a wooded meadow, dappled in sunlight. Warm but sweet, with this hint of sharpness underneath. On wet: It’s kind of clear and refreshing, no real scent in particular stands out. Just the general impression of a sweet, faintly floral, breeze. On dry: Mmmmm as it dried it got much warmer, the musk starting to stand out more. There’s also this faint, almost caramel smell underneath the musk. It’s still very sweet and floral though, no woods that I can discern any longer. I can tell there is pepper because my lips are burning - happens every time even though it’s going on my wrist!

In the bottle: Oh Zephyr is like walking through a spring meadow, all freshly cut grass and wildflowers. On wet: More freshly cut grass smell with a hint of something sharper. On dry: Its now developed into just a warm vanilla/musk mix.

In the bottle: Sweet amber but kind of soapy, with a hint of salt. On wet: Thankfully the soapy smell has disappeared and now it's a nice dark amber with an undertone of musk. On dry: There's now a hint of honey in this scent but overall it's staying very amber musk like the description

In the bottle: There's a distinct sharpness to this underlain by a kind of general dark forest and fur smell. On wet: The dark general forest-y scent comes out quite strongly along with now a kind of musky floral note, it's hard to describe. On dry: Oooooooooh that sweet, almost candy sweet, tropical flower smell is now really coming out along with the forest scent. None of the musk, gas or beasts though!

In the bottle: Vanilla and cedar, also an undertone of that general green “woodsy” smell. On wet: It smells like cedar wood and pine needles, but not in the air freshener way. More like I AM walking through the woods. There’s also just a hint of mint. On dry: OH WOW MINT MINT MINT. Seriously I smell like I’ve gone and rolled in a mint patch. It’s um, bracing. There is however still just an undertone of the cedar.

In the bottle: Oh holy cow this does actually smell EXACTLY like a fig tree! We have one in our backyard and this has the earthy/woody/faintly fruity smell down pat with just a hint of the rot that hangs around during fruit season. (There’s also a hint of vanilla but I swear at this point I just smell vanilla EVERYWHERE it ISNT) On wet: Earth/faintly fruity mixed with vanilla. On dry: Delightfully light sweet floral tones, like jasmine and ripe fig with just an undertone of vanilla and possibly spice. It kind of reminds me of stepping into Dusk (our local candle shop) and that first breath of scented air in the shop.

In the bottle: ….Floral ocean? A hint of amber? I’m really not sure how on earth to describe this scent. I LIKE it, I just don’t really recognize the notes in it. On wet: Amber with a sort of tang? I’m assuming it’s the dragons blood but I’m not really smelling anything. On dry: It’s veeeery slowly getting stronger again, gaining that floral/ocean scent I liked in the bottle.

In the bottle: …leaf litter and wilting roses. There is literally no other description I can think for it than that. It’s earthy. On wet: Wow incredible change, it’s now fresh roses with musk and something I can only describe as a spice shop. On dry: It’s now sharp and earthy with just an undercurrent of the rose, it’s the moss-y scents that seem to dominate this dry for me.

In the bottle: Oh. My. God. CARAMEL MMMMMMMMMMM. It’s just jumping out at my face and making me want to go make dessert. There’s also just a hint of mint with an undertone of that general ‘candy’ smell that candy shops have. Basically: delicious. On wet: Caramel, Caramel, Caramel. Need I say more? (Ok yes I do, the undertone of mint is still there even if the candy smell has faded, it’s giving the scent a real nice ‘sharpness’ that stops the caramel from veering off into overwhemling) On dry: The cake-yness of the description is starting to come out along with the mint! The caramel is also fading which is a wee bit disapointing but overall I like it!

Siberian musk, black clove, opoponax, tonka, black pepper, and neroli. In the bottle: The first thing I smell is a strong, sharp, flowery scent. Not floral per say, but clearly a flower - perhaps the opoponax. Underneath that is just a hint of the musk. One wet: Oh wow! The black pepper and musk come out really clearly now, the floral scent is gone. The musk is still just a hint underneath. Dry: The floral comes back a bit but it remains a very clearly clove/pepper mix with musk undertones.

In the bottle: The first thing that hits me is vanilla, which is a little weird as there isnt any in the blend but at the same time nice because its a very subtle dessert vanilla. Next is a nice undercurrent of the musk that DOES smell just like the spices they describe. There’s just a tiny final hint of the carnation and cassia, the sandalwood to me isn’t present at all. On wet: Flowers! The flowers become really strong then quickly fade into a vanilla/musk mix. Dry: It’s staying mainly the dessert vanilla with just a hint of the undertone of the flowers, mainly the carnation. Weird!
