I carried roughly a shedload of Imps last time I travelled, so Heathrow and Toronto are cool with them. I had about 40 in my handbag, just all loose in the change compartment. None leaked, but a rollerball I had with me got a bit 'strong' smelling.

All flash and glam: white wine, heliotrope, d'Anjou pear, and lotus. Wet and in the bottle - incredibly bubble gum sweet. On - I always forget what's in this one and just revel in it. It's not until I think about it that I can recognise the pear, and frankly that's all I recognise because everything else is so well balanced on me. It's sweet but not sickly, incredibly wearable. I use it on the days when I want something sweet and comforting but not heavy, and I see myself relying on this one heavily in spring and summer. Gorgeous. Sexy. Big bottle time.

Either I have an imp from a truly superlative batch, or Hunger was designed specifically with me in mind, because it is That Good on me. Hunger goes on to me sweet and fruity like Glitter for the first five minutes. Then it turns into a wash of smoky black flavours swirling around me. This isn't creamsicle, this is a creamsicle that you just melted on your partner for, um, personal reasons. That you just dripped candle wax on. Ordered a big bottle. Hope it's as good as my imp!

This started out sweet, slightly reminiscent of a heavy cherry cough syrup scent. VERY quickly it turned spicy, and now it has a leather undertone that reminds me of Hellfire. I really, really like Hellfire. Now all I have to do is convince Hubby to try this. If he likes it, he may get lucky. ;-)

Mmmm, cloves. This just got better and better as the day went on! I layered it slightly with the tiniest touches of Water of Notre Dame because I was going for effect rather than scent, but it worked beautifully. The two didn't really mix, they more wrapped about each other. Now, as for effect: I'm not sure yet what the final outcome will be. But I wore this to a meeting with our HR department (supposed to be my exit interview) and was told that they want to keep me and wish to review my salary as a result. Now, I do not intend to stay, but I was able to stay calm and focused throughout while we worked on some very difficult topics. And the revised salary offer (when/if it arrives) may be helpful in court. But the gist of it is, I wore it, I've been informally offered money. So there you go.

62 to go, and I hope it Elizabeth considers doing them again... Trust me, it's excellent motivation. That and the most kick-ass leather trousers ever.

Don't brush your teeth. And wear something like Hymn, or Cathedral. They're lovely, but hopefully he'll keep thinking of church and have like the total anti-boner. Unless he's a sicko. In which case he may have other uses.

I've decided. When I hit my weight loss goal, this is how I'm rewarding myself. Only 73lbs to go, so take your time Beth!

First off, this one has given me a -slight- burn; my skin is ever so slightly red on the more sensitive pulse points where I applied it. However, the burn is fading quickly, so I'll see if a second application later produces a stronger reaction. This smells a bit like my garden in the morning. Next door has roses, I have jasmine and a number of random flowers and herbs planted. It's a lovely wet rose scent for the first few moments, and then things slowly dry out to produce a very romantic warm rose. I'm only in the first few minutes of this, but so far I'm enjoying it. I have layered it with a chunk of Lush's Amondopondo and half of an In The Nude to keep the rose theme going. While this makes a perfect summer scent, I like the idea of wearing this in the dead of winter whilst curled up in front of the fire or lounging in a coffee shop, just to surprise people with a tickle of rose as they pass.

This one lasted and lasted, and the longer I smelled it the better I liked it. This is the smell of a wad of bills buried in a metal box in a swamp. Also a perfect match with Lush's Tramp.

Ouch! This stuff bites! Almost immediately after putting it on, I felt a tingle, which increased to a burn. I looked at the points where I applied it and while my wrists are fine, the insides of my elbows and my cleavage are red and burned looking. Here's my right elbow: The scent is nice, but it doesn't hang around long enough to bother with the burning. 25 minutes later, my arm still burns. I'll use it for a room scent, or in my hair methinks. Whups, huge photo - sorry. :-(

Oh yes... This is the scent of being ravished in October woods by a man in leather. Sweet leaves, smoke, coffee with a touch of irish cream, leather, clear air.

In the bottle, this is an incredibly liquid floral, early summer morning when the sun is just getting hot but the dew hasn't burned off yet. Incredibly soft and sweet. The initial notes are soapy; this makes me think of clean cotton sheets, wet, freshly put on the line to dry. Or ironing an old white linen shirt of mine that I always used to boil wash and then press when it was wet. I seem to continually get a scent of rising moisture. More on this when it has been on for a few hours. Can't help thinking that applying a single drop of Gluttony with this would make it into breakfast espresso and almond pastries on a patio ringed with flowers. ETA: Never did get any carnation out of this, maybe next time. I was hoping for some of Potion's spicyness.

Just got my June 16th order here in the UK!! Huzzah! -
I smell like a whore in a humidor. A very expensive, exotic whore, who has been anointed with musks, myrhh, and eaten an indian sweetmeat whilst being massaged with coconut oil, but a whore nonetheless. A very -satisfied- whore. This is definitely a post-coital request for a cigar being fulfilled.
