Soft, cotton/linen and clean with the scent of a lush forest in the back ground. It feels wet and airy and I totally get the tp'd trees' aspect of the scent. After drydown the pine and the scent of clean cotten mingle beautifully and together they create a gentle perfumey musk. It's sweet, light, airy and very pretty.

Wow. This is simply stunning. Light rose with tree bark. Blackberry leaf, moss and frankincense follow in the background. There is this certain sweetness to it, but after sniffing my arm even more, the sweetness is mellowed by the greenery and it almost becomes herbal/medicinal. The more this morphs the more beautiful it gets.

Well this starts off beautiful. Airy, floral, a little perfumey, green and very aquatic. The dry down is where it starts getting a little dicey. Almost too perfumey. A little overbearing and I am almost washed it off, however, after letting it settle the ozone notes mingle with the florals and it becomes so faint. A whisper of perfume really. It's hauntingly beautiful.

This is a dry, metallic scent. I get whiffs of sandalwood every now and agian, but the metallic from the gunpowder and the feel of blood overpower everything else. There is definite masculine feel to Hessian, but unfortunately the metallic note is ruining the masculine cologne scent.

This is the scent of fall for me. It is spicy and warm, smoky and woodsy. I get a sense of apple cidar, or spicy chai tea. This has falls fruits blended with oranges and dried leaves crunching under your feet. I definitely need a bottle of this.

The scent of leather and musk. Well worn leather and musk that has been applied hours ago. It is faint and light, not overwhelming. It smells like I buried my face in the crook of my husbands neck, just as he is getting home from work. This is freaking yummy.

Yup it's rose all right. A freshly cut, lush rose sweetened with milk and honey. It's creamy, it's girly and very pretty. I was a little worried the honey would make this a bit too sweet, but it is the perfect balance between rose and honey.

Bottled baby powder with lavender and sage. It's sweetened with honeyed milk, yet the honey is not overwhelming, in fact the honey is not even noticeable. Carnation and frankincense provide a touch of spice and seem to bring a balance to the sweetness. Gladdener is herbal, soothing and very soft. This is extremely pretty and I can feel that I am going to wear this often at night after a hot bath. I can already see myself bundled up by the fireplace with a damn good book and hot cup of tea.

A slightly sweet floral, tempered with vanilla and tea. The red & white musks combine beautifully with mandarin and there is a definite hint of violet. I really don't detect any opium poppy or opoponax, but I think the poppy is hiding behind the rose and violet. I love how this does not scream floral, nor does the sweetness get overbearing. It is creamy and light, and absolutely beautiful. The mandarin white tea, vanilla musk and violet are the real standouts here, and together Lady Lilith is magical.

OMG, this could possibly be my most favorite blend of all time. On first sniff I immediately detect Dorian smoothered in Lavender. The sugared vanilla of Snake Oil, is hovering around in the background. Once applied, LV is a herbal lavender and fennel, with pale musks, creamy spicy vanilla and sugared tea dancing around. Not one scent is dominant. They all band together so seamlessly, and neither of the 2 powerhouses combined are droning each other out. It's as if the best part of Dorian and Snake Oil meet and have a love affair. Seperately they are great, together they are amazing. Add a splash of lavender and they are stunning.

Dewy, wet, whiplike and sticky. This is everything I hoped for and then some. This is a very wet, lush pine note. It is sweet, but not a foody sweet scent, this is the sweetness one gets when your bopping through a pine forest after the rain. Your wet, and the air is thick and the sap from the pine is gooey and clear. Definitely aquatic, and very airy. If you love sweet, aquatic pine scents this is for you.

Warm toasted almond followed by honeyed milk. It is soothing and comforting. Not to sweet and extremely creamy. At times there is white vanilla cake vibe, but it is very fleeting. I also detect a cherry almond note, but it too is sparse. Overall a heavenly, comforting blend.

Oooh, this is so gorgeous. A blackberry green tea blend with a hint of sweetness from vanilla bean and honey musk. There is this wet, dew like quality that has a certain greeness to it, and an element of spice. From first sniff to initial application I can not help but see a simalarity to LUSH's The Comforter bubble bar, lotion and shower gel. Lady Una layers beautifully with the latter, and while there is a sweetness to it, there is also a sour/tart vibe. I was worried the honey musk and vanilla bean would go funky, but am delighted to report that only add sweetness to the tart blackberry green tea.

UGH! A sinus clearing blend that also works on sore muscles. Definitely herbal notes inside. I detect eucalyptus and camphor and when applied to sore/stiff joints and muscles produces a warming/cooling sensation. It immediately relaxes and soothes. When combined with GRR or OOF as an aromatherapy blend it clears up stuffed noses or conjested heads. A huge thumbs up for UGH.

TKO. A powerful but simple blend of creamy, warm vanilla and lavender. At first it starts off extremely herbal (which is just fine with me.) I adore lavender and it all it's herbally goodness. However, after dry down the creamy sweetness of vanilla combines with astringent lavender and I am left with an amazing soothing blend that wraps it's arms around me and comforts me.

This Harvest lunacy combines the autumnal scents of balsam fir, cedar, juniper berry, clove, saffron, damson plum, sage, black cherry, and fennel with the crushed wine grapes of Dionysus and Janus' lingum aloes. I adore the Harvest Moon lunacies. 2008 is no exception. I love them because they are truly an Autumn scent, but often do not include the darkness of weenies. Harvest Moon '08 is all woods mixed with spiced berries. I was a little worried about black cherries, but rcombined with plum, juniper berry and crushed wine grapes, there really is no one berry/fruit that is dominant. They are spiced with clove, fennel and sage, and come across as mulled cider. The addition of balsam fir and cedar make a stunning warm, Autumn blend.

The essence of the pure, unsullied virgin moon and of the huntress that stalks her prey by the moon's light: amaranth, musk rose, juniper, chaste tree, sweet bay, chamomile, rose mallow, Madonna lily, blue musk, wisteria, and iris. Oh wow. A floral explosion, tempered by chamomile and chaste tree. It has a slightly cool tone to it, yet the chamomile really softens and soothes Dyan Moon. With all the florals inside, musk rose is really the only one that is dominant. As it dries down, the juniper adds a certain hint of spice and the blue musk tends to give it a dark and dusty feel. After awhile Dyan Moon goes herbal, and the floral explosion has settled to a herbal rose explosion.

Hmmm...well, it's earthy all right. But it only lasts for about a minute, before the delicious red and green apples, carnation and fig pull through. Definitely has a cooler weather vibe to it. I am having a hard time deciphering if there is toasted almond or even smoke. All I can muster is earthy apples spiced with carnation. it's ok, but unfortuntely unlike the other 3 seasons, this is not really bowling me over, and the throw is non existant.

This was the one I had to have. Winter. I am all about winter, all the time. L'Inverno had me itching for winter and the beloved yules back in July. Cool, snow covered pine trees, with a lush winter plum followed by musk. This is sooo beautiful. Slighlty floral, but mostly a light, slushy pine with plum. I am in love. It did not disappoint. Bring on the yules!

I never learn. I was worried about the evil jasmine note, but figured what the hell. I hoped the other notes would rise above and good ole' jaz would take the back seat. The atmosphere spray rocks my world, and even the hubby adores it. Surprisingly enough I was right. If there is jasmine inside I can't find it. Instead, La Primavera is a hauntingly beautiful floral. It comes across as heavy at first, and I think it is just all the notes fighting each other to come out on top. Plum blossom is most prevalent, and is tempered beautifully with lemon peel and orange blossom. It is sweet and very fragrant. Somehow it is also lush and dewy, and very pretty.

Warm, golden, inviting amber with a hint of lilies. I adore amber, and while I couldn't pass up L'Estate, I was really worried about the lilies messing around with a gorgeous amber blend. Thankfully the lilies to me are just an after thought if you will. The vanilla, musk, sandalwood and amber combine for sweet and sexy golden scent, and surprisingly the honey myrtle is barely noticeable. I suspect it adds to the sweetness. I only wish I would have gotten more than 1 bottle of this utterly beautiful blend.

Nutty, mossy apple goodness. The crunch and scnet of dry leaves is softened by apple and poppy juice. There is a certain amount of spice that gives the blend an apple cider feel. The creaminess of the nutmeat makes this almost foody, and the moss and bark definitely give it green/earthy tone. I feared this would be a heavy scent, but it is light but long lasting.

Spicy, milky chai tea with a touch of honey. It's frothy and crisp. It was one of my first big bottle purchases a couple of years ago and it only gets better with age. In addition to the spicy tea, there is a comforting note of clean linens, and together they soothe and comfort me. There is nothing better than wrapping yourself in clean jammies, and sipping a a hot steamy mug of chai. This is hands down my favorite MTP, and what intially started my love affair, so it's fitting that this is my last review in the MTP catalog!

Absurd! Green mango, fig, patchouli and green tea. Slightly sweet, a tad fruity and oh shite there's patchouli. Wait a minute...hahahha the patchouli is disappearing, leaving behind a trace amount of earthiness, which is the only thing I love about pacthouli. The biting green tea mixed with fig and mango is really delicious, and overall makes for a great fruity tea scent.

Warm, honeyed lilies. Now this is a lily scent I can handle, unlike The Queen of Hearts. I think it has to do with the addition of amber and honey, that make this blend warm, soft, and extremely inviting. It is sweet, but not overwhelming. I was worried the honey note would turn on my skin, as 50% of the time, honey can make or break the blend. This time it works, and it is lovely.
