I got Voodoo as a frimp in a swap; otherwise, I never would have tried it. Pine and vetiver = big time "no" components for me. And I have to admit, when I first put Voodoo on, I wasn't impressed. The pine and vetiver came out too strongly, along with the lime. It was a sharp, almost dirty scent for about thirty seconds. But once it dried? Amazing. The vetiver and the pine mellowed out and dropped into the background, and suddenly, the vanilla and almond and myrrh came out. Some of the lime stayed around to brighten things up, but overall, once dried, Voodoo is a warm, deep, rich, sexy scent I can see myself wearing a lot of. Voodoo is really incredible, and I'm so glad I got to try it. Even if a few of the components sound scary to you, give it a shot.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks! I wish they had a free form where you could write whatever you wanted for an address, but I suppose that could get misused as well.

This is a general PayPal question. It may be stupid (just a warning). Now that I'm going to college, I have a new mailing address. I know how to create a new one in the My Account section, but the way the fields are set up, I can't enter it correctly. My mailing address for school goes like this: My name My university My residence hall's name My residence hall's street My room number The city + ZIP Long, right? Too long, apparently, for PayPal; it doesn't fit into their "Name, Street, City, ZIP" formula. I honestly can't figure out a way to enter it into my profile. Has this happened to anyone else?

While I am enamored of any kind of vanilla, in general, I am not big on foody scents. However, this? Is so, so good. Maybe this is because I serve a lot of weddings, but the first thing I thought of after applying this was: wedding cake with raspberries. Very sweet, rich, all-out vanilla wedding cake covered in dark, vibrant raspberries. I might have to get a 5 mL of this.

Frimp from the lab. This is the absolute last thing I would order. Leather? Smoke? No. But it's actually kind of cool. Very masculine, very commanding. The leather is cold, sleek. The smoke is strange and elusive. The dragon's blood is warm and tempting. It's a beguiling combination, and I can appreciate the artistry of it. I would just never wear it. . . I'll stick to the vanillas, carnations, and spices.

I bought this on a whim, uncharacteristically. I'm so glad I did. I was suckered in by the cardamom and nutmeg, notes that always work for me. They're beautiful in this blend, exacerbated by other spices and yet tempered by the flowers. The flowers aren't overpowering, which I feared as a rather un-floral person. Everything just sort of blends together in an extremely warm, inviting, comforting scent. Mama-Ji is awesome.

At work, we have a chamomile citron tea that's really unusual. To me, it tastes like bubblegum and lemon. It's very sweet, but not cloyingly so. I like it, but only once in a while, and I'd much rather have a more traditional tea. Gennivre = chamomile citron tea. It's the same exact scent, that bubblegum and lemon. It's refreshing and bright and has good throw. I'd like it occasionally, but it's not quite "me". If you like fresh, clean, bright scents, this is for you.

This scent is lovely. While there is a lot going on in the way of florals, this blend isn't dry, stuffy, or "old". There is a very real freshness to it, and a beautiful sense of peace and just. . . stillness. Sadly, on my skin, this all but vanishes after forty-five minutes. That is the only reason I wouldn't get more of it. Overall: 8/10

In the vial: Really gross -- like a glob of butter with a bit of spice thrown in. I don't even like butter on my bread, much less my wrists. After application: Well, Beth proved me wrong. This smells really good. I'm not much for foody scents, but this somehow works: while there is a definite smell of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin to this blend, it is also evocative of fall on the whole in a really neat way. In addition to smelling nice, this has a good throw. A lovely fall blend that is luckily available year round. Overall: 8/10
