Hmm...well, the dirt note when this is wet it just wonderful--that fresh BPAL dirt! Nothing like it. But after this dries it smells kind of men's cologne-y, mostly from the moss. Not for me, although I love the top note.

Sob. This is so gorgeous I wish I'd never tried it since it's unavailable now. It opens with a soft, powdery, dried rose (is it yellow rose) that settles down into musky rosy myrrh. It's wonderfully refined and feminine and ladylike--and sexy! Beautiful. I wish I had more!
-
Very sweet. An undertone of olive and a slight herbal scent. I don't think I've smelled anything else quite like this--the olive is definitely an interesting note! A bit fruity. I'm not nuts about this but it certainly is unique.
-
Reminds me a lot of Rose Cross, but with less rose and more lily. The frankincense is unfortunately starting to smell like old candles on me. A little soapy but not horribly so. If you can handle frankincense better than I can this is worth a try; the floral part is clean and pretty.

This smells like celery and ozone. I'm not going to try to figure out why. I'm just going to wash it OFF!

Mmm, fruity floral. The plum and pomegranate are sweet and juicy here, and the gardenia's not killing the entire concept like it tends to. Rich and tropical. If I had one complaint it would be that this really smells like nice potpourri--there are a lot of notes here and they're just smelling kind of mushed together. It's nice but not amazing.

Murky, salty, ozone-y aquatic with a citrusy kick. Definitely weird like a lot of the Arkham oils. Not giving me a headache like most aquatics, but not something I want to smell like either.

This smells like lilies, but very sweet and spicy ones. It's got good throw but it's not overpowering. There's a tangy quality here that I'm starting to notice in a lot of the Rappacini's Garden blends--it reminds me of walking into a greenhouse. This is nice but I think Black Lily beats it as my favorite lily so far.
-
Pretty light floral that smells oddly familiar--aha! It's Fairy Market that this reminds me of. Is this bluebells? It's like Fairy Market minus the incense. Slightly green and not soapy or powdery.
-
This is well-blended--all those notes and I'm just thinking "mmm, fruity floral". Nothing really jumps out at me but the effect is lovely. Sweet, musky, girly. Too bad this one is discontinued!

Gardenia and jasmine together killed Bigger Critters for me and they're not so great here either, but on the bright side, the vanilla is soft and beautiful. The tea rose isn't coming through on my skin. A nice floral vanilla if you can cope with jasmine.

Instantly transporting. The top note is a gorgeous sweet, soft musk and the drydown is sweet grasses, hay, and leather. As a concept blend this is amazing! Unfortunately as a perfume the grassiness is giving me a wee headache; it's a bit too sharp. But what a great idea this one was!

Pretty much honeysuckle single note on me. Not that there's anything wrong with that! Springlike and sweet.
-
I kept thinking there must be sweet pea in this because the flowers were so sweet--perhaps it's the effect of the opium sweetening them up. This is beautiful. Narcissus usually goes weird on me but in Languor it's working nicely so far, and the other florals combined with the opium are strong and heady. Perfumey and very feminine, this one. Very nice.

Holy shit. Beth has managed to create the pits of hell in a bottle! Brimstone is all smoky vetiver that dries down into smoke and ash. I swear you even feel the heat from it. It's absolutely hideous but completely perfect as a concept scent.

Ooh, this is so rosey and nice wet (as a Black Rose lover, amber + rose is always going to have my love) but the lily and jasmine turn into soap in the blink of an eye. The nice expensive kind of soap, but still...rats.
-
I usually love any rose and/or violet blend but this is horribly sour on me. Something about the sandalwood + the flowers isn't working well. And I don't get any mint, although this imp could just be a bit aged. Bleah.
-
Musky white flowers with a spicy kick. Actually kind of nice on me, but very light. Perfumey, in a good way.
-
Straight from the imp, the bourbon vanilla in this is beautiful but the jasmine of dooooooooooooooom takes over far too quickly. Dammit.
-
Mmm...lemony sandalwood. This is quite sweet and musky. The lily and jasmine aren't going all icky on me, either. The lemon is getting a little stronger as time goes on, which is odd for a citrusy note. Nice and fresh--I wasn't expecting to like this so much but I do!
-
This is all florals straight out of the imp but the drydown--wow! Sweet, sugary rum and tobacco. Very nice. It's a teeny bit powdery from all those flowers but that aspect is not overpowering. Very heady and sexy--I like this a lot.

Green herbs that go to 11. Very sharp when wet, drying down into a softer lime/lavender. Actually, the drydown of this smells like it would be great as a sleep blend if you can get past the wet stage--it reminds me a bit of Somnus and some of the blends like that. Lots of throw--this is very strong.

I love Snake Oil, but only when it's very aged does it work on me, and although I liked Dorian ok it wasn't really me. Lilith Victoria is pretty much pure Dorian at first--maybe a little sweeter than regular Dorian, with the added vanilla. And dry it's more Snake Oil-y with that I'm-going-to-turn-on-you! vibe that fresh Snake Oil has on me, but the vanilla is stronger by now too. Knowing how Snake Oil ages it's very tempting to get a bottle of this to hide away. Much lighter than regular Snake Oil, too, which can be a good thing since SO's got such strong throw. Fabulous concept. I like this the best of the baby scents.

Oooh, a morpher--this smells very candylike in the decant and when wet--vanilla-sweet roses and violets. Gorgeous! It changes character as it dries and the red musk makes itself known. I'm now getting mostly musks and mandarin. So interesting! I bet this is going to age fabulously too--I'm not sure if I need a whole bottle but I'm glad I have a decant.

When this is wet--I have never smelled such strong lavender, EVER. Oh my god. It's so biting! As it dries the milk and honey come to the front and I'm reminded a bit of Eden, with flowers. This is really too powdery-sweet for me, though--those darn carnations are messing things up again.
