Flowers and woods--this is so pretty and light and airy. It's a bit too floral for me though--after a while it's overwhelming. But it's nice and it's one of the less-weird Lovecraft oils.

I've spritzed this a few times and have yet to smell anything beyond a faint, musky leather. Hello, Dungeon--where are you? It's a nice smell but it's so light and fades so quickly!
-
Wet: so much vetiver! Dry: much nicer--dirty, earthy patchouli and a sweet/spicy note from the fig and cardamom. This feels like a dirty version of Gomorrah. This imp must be fairly aged since the patchouli is so dominant. I like this a lot--it's got great throw and lasts for ages, and fig is always a winner on me. Awesome!

Huh--this smells spicy and foody and not particularly like tea (more like tea cakes!). I don't get any leather from Severin. This is something to wear on a cool day, for sure.
-
Wood overload! I smell cedar and sandalwood and that's IT. It's not unpleasant, but it's too manly for me. Another "I wish my closet smelled like this!" oil.
-
Ugh--this smells like bourbon and magnolias with moss crawling around underneath. Not a good blend on me since the flowers are turning to soap. I do love the concept though.
-
Lighter than I thought it would be--I get white musk and bergamot with juniper, layered over an earthier patchouli. I like this but the juniper is a little too green. It's not particularly masculine. Very clean, very fresh.

This has throw like WHOA. Incredibly strong! It's an earthy, grassy floral on me with some incense blended in--I'd love incense that smells like this, but I don't really want to smell like this myself. Way too strong.
-
Very bright verbena and then some herbs--the rosemary. This is a bit on the Ricola-cough drop side but it's still pretty bright and cheery. The lavender comes out in the late drydown stage. Soothing and pretty.

Another of those OMGWTFBBQ oils that I can't believe I've ignored for so long. This is delicious! It's a yummy vanilla/tobacco/champaca with a teeny floral hint and a bit of sandalwood. It's almost foody on me, and the jasmine is behaving nicely. It's sweet but there's some leather far in the background that keeps it from being too girly. Love it!

I thought this would be on the heavy side but it's quite light and pretty--smells like gingered tea on me, almost, although I wonder if the milk note isn't what's putting tea in my head. It's sweet but not cloying and doesn't seem to have the OMG! ginger! throw that some blends do.

This is so simple yet so perfect--fresh, damp dirt! I love it. It doesn't last long on me at all, but I seriously doubt I'll be wearing this out and about anyway, so it's all good. One of those I-can't-believe-they-bottled it BPALs.

Midnight on The Midway + Snake Oil--this is beautiful! Sweet and incensey. I'm starting to think champaca is a full of win note on me, always. One of the better Snake Pits I've tried.

The top note of grapefruit is lovely and juicy here and not too astringent like grapefruit can sometimes be. Dry, I'm getting a fruity gingery tea. So refreshing and so light! This would be awesome on a summer day. Seems to have a little more staying power than most citrusy blends.
-
Sweet and almost foody--gotta be the tonka talking. Tonka and rosewood and amber. I know this is supposed to be masculine but I find it almost too sweet and powdery for a man. Strong throw, good staying power.
-
Florals, amber and above all TEA! More and more tea the longer I wear it. Patchouli's not showing up on me but at least the gardenia hasn't amped to a horrible degree. Mostly it just smells like a cup of sweet tea.

An attendant of the Goddess Venus. She presides over nocturnal pleasure, nighttime festivities, and all the joy and delight that can be found in the darkness. In later ages, it became the name of the all-night festival that closed the Eleusinian Mysteries. Night-blooming jasmine, moonflower, cardamom, sandalwood, black currant, ylang ylang, frankincense and lily. Pannychis goes on with a strange sourness that I'm blaming on frankincense. Now that it's dry I'm getting sandalwood and moonflower and not the jasmine overload I was expecting. It's a little on the department-store perfumey side but it's nice and light.

Golden and sweet. I like the drydown but there's something in there that *burns*. Cinnamon?? I don't smell it but there's definitely an irritant for me in here.
-
This has the oddest consistency--it's almost gluey and hard to get out of the imp. Very oily. It smells like cedar and the forest floor--woody and earthy. Very faint but inoffensive.
-
Oh wow--this is great and unexpected. Woods, evergreen, and sweet berries! It's very bright and happy and doesn't go all Pine-sol on me like a lot of piney blends do. Nice!
-
Strong, STRONG jasmine taking over everything. A bit of rose and a bit of fruit (mmm, mandarin) but mainly just jasmine. Very floral, very perfumey. If you love jasmine you'll love Rapture.
-
Fresh and tropical--I was expecting AQUATIC WHOA but this is sweeter and greener. A winey note is coming out more and more as it dries. The aquatic aspect is mostly a saltiness way in the background. Unusual and fresh!
-
Medicinal, green, and lemony. Faintly sweet from the honey. Where's the wasabi? This *is* clearing out my sinuses a little, though--maybe that's the wasabi right there. Reminds me a bit of Embalming Fluid.
-
Sharp, bitter citrus and strong ozone. Oddly unsettling--like something you'd use to clean your sacrificial altar. I'm not getting any incense, mostly just citrus.
-
I'm only sniffing this from an empty bottle--barley, barley, barley and booze! And sweet from the blood.
