Citrusy, watery, dryer sheets indeed! If this is your thing it's a very nice version of that thing, but I don't like the smell of dryer sheets even in dryer-sheet form (I have to seek out the unscented ones constantly). I'm not really picking up any ozone from this, oddly. Interesting blend, but very much not for me.

I'd never have thought based on the notes that this would be so light and pretty. I'm getting lemon peel like crazy from it, with white musk underneath. It's the same lemon peel that's so yummy in Bess, methinks. There is vetiver here, especially when the oil's freshly applied, but dry it's just sort of an earthiness far in the background. Really soft and quiet, this blend.

Dry, hot cardamom. A bit like sticking your nose into a spice rack! There's some patchouli backing up things here too. I like cardamom more as a room scent, since it tends to eat my skin alive...this'll go beautifully with the cinnamon/clove incense I've been burning today!

UGH smells awesome. Sort of like Ricola cough drops and sort of like Sprite! It's very refreshing. This has an amazing effect on tired muscles. It's not warming or cooling, but...tingling. You really feel it even after you've rubbed in into the skin. Wonderful.

In the bottle this is sweet, thick deliciousness--honey and almond, predominantly. Wet, it is JASMINE DOOM on me. My archnemesis! However! That started to fade after about 5 minutes (thank goodness) and a faint almondy sweetness stepped in alongside the jasmine. Sort of a nutty pastry effect. A few minutes more and the honey came in, again, faintly, but it's there. I really don't know what to make of this yet, though. That killer jasmine is so very strong. I'll have to wear this for an entire day before I know if I can keep it or not, but I do like the drydown--it's warm and spicy/fruity/sweet and very cozy.

Sweet sweet Midway, I have a bottle of you at last! I liked the original Midway, but wasn't OMGWILD about it enough to hunt down a bottle; now that it's been resurrected, though, I couldn't resist. This smells just like the original, although it seems a little stronger (that's good!). Cotton candy and funnel cakes and that lovely salty note to balance out the sweetness. Love love love.

Wet: X-treme vetiver. Dry: X-treme leather. There are other notes in here?? Really? It's sexy but straight leather doesn't work on me.

The minute I saw people mentioning red musk I knew I had to try this on immediately. It smells divine--that musk just jumps out at you and there's definitely rose there, and something herb-y/minty. It's not unlike Spellbound from the GC, actually. Good good stuff. As for the effects--some things are private!

I gave myself a foot massage with this and oooohhh it's good stuff. Smells just like regular TKO (there is a hint--just a hint--of rice bran smell when you sniff this up close) and isn't greasy at all (my sheets and carpets thank the labbies very much). Very nice! Edited to add that the scent from this really lingers--I could still smell it on my hands this morning, after washing them a couple of times and sleeping all night! Yum.

SWEET. This is SO sweet! Dragon's blood, grapes, tonka, almond, red musk--ok, no wonder it's sweet, considering. I'm getting mostly slightly musky grapes from this; it's very winey and I'm not sure if I can wear it in the daytime. We'll see. So pretty though and it's got great throw!

Carnation, iris, and sweet pea are all instant old powder on me--no exception here, sadly. This smells really nice in the imp, though--more of the vanilla comes through than it does on my skin. I know this one is going bye-bye but I'm tempted to use it as a room scent anyway, because it's got a warm, comforting aspect to it that I quite like.

Frozen waters and clay. I really wish I could "do" aquatics; they just give me a headache and really don't work on me. But this one is so evocative of cold and ice! It's a gorgeous concept, very fresh and chilled, and it does paint a lovely mental image. But I just can't wear it.

A gorgeous, glossy deep berry, and this represents Morgause, the oil, perfectly! I tend to stick to red shades in winter so a color like this is a beautiful change of pace. Very pretty. Edited to add that days later, still no chips!

Rich red wine that quickly dries down into a faintly fruity white musk on me. Emphasis on the "faint" part because I can barely smell it! It's lovely but so light and it's fading fast. I love BPAL's wine note, and it usually is long-lasting on me, so this one is an oddity. It does smell great while it's there, though!

Well this is just about the most gorgeous deep red ever. Thick, clotted blood red, without the brownish dried-blood quality of Lady Macbeth. This won't be leaving my toes any time soon and will be gracing my fingernails as soon as I get a chance. I can't wear Blood Countess the oil, and since I have a little obsession with Countess Bathory it's quite nice to be able to wear her polish instead.

A light, almost watery lavender. This waffled back and forth on the will-it-give-me-a-headache scale when I first put it on, but it didn't after all. I wore it to bed and was out like a light and slept like a corpse! Wonderful for relaxing your mind and calming your thoughts. The scent of Peace isn't quite as lingering as the other TALs I've tried but the effect is definitely there.

This smells soooo good. It's almost all clove on me, and it's the first clove blend I've tried that doesn't go all funny on me (and I LOVE clove, so this makes me happy). Beautiful! I've been wearing this a lot this week as I'm trying to get over some odd flu-like but not quite illness, and I'm feeling a lot better today, so maybe it's having some effect. Worn to bed, it's very warm and comforting. And the scent last for ages. My nightshirt that I just put into the laundry smelled very strongly of clove. I love that this smells so warm and non-medicinal because it can be worn out and about too. I plan to wear it next time I have to fly!

This is a really odd blend and not at all what I was expecting. It's almost all a heavy pastry scent that is not unlike that of Knave of Hearts on me. After the first few minutes, though, there's a little whiff of sweet, Faithy violets and that whiff keeps popping up from time to time. It's a strange combination, but it's not a bad one. I'm going to have to wear this a few times to know what I think of it for certain but this so far is definitely a unique BPAL!

Very very sweet sugared berries/plums. A faint hint of flowers when first applied but that fades quickly. I think this is too sweet for me and it smells a bit plastic-y as well.

Sweet, sharp peppermint that's gone in 10 minutes. That was quick! This would make a great wake-up scent, though--you could apply it when you first get up and by the time you're ready to leave the house, it'll be gone and you can put something else on. It did make my stuffy head feel great when I sniffed it straight from the imp, too.

Sweet, juicy, delicious pomegranate! Oh, I want to eat you up...hey, where'd you go? This is beautiful and yummy and it lasted all of 30 minutes on me. There's only a faint trace of fruity sweetness left. Dagnabbit!

This smells like lavender + The Dormouse to my nose. It's very light and pleasant. This might be a sleep aid of choice in hot muggy weather because it's not going to get too overpowering. I used it a couple of nights ago in anticipation of a bad night's sleep (cramps! ugh!) and I did sleep a lot better than I normally would under such circumstances. I definitely fell asleep faster and as I'm one of those people who takes a loooooong time to fall asleep usually, that's a huge plus. I will try this a few more times for sure.

I love the spicy, sort of dragon's blood-y, sort of floral smell of White Light. I've worked my way through a decant of it and I think the fact that I'm really missing it now that it's gone is a good testimony to its effects. I find it very calming and centering. I've mostly used it at night as a relaxation aid and I think it's helped me sleep and sleep well on those nights. I want a bottle.

Moonflower loves me to the point of stomping out everything else in nearly every blend with it I've tried. This one is no exception; it's basically moonflower single note. It's beautiful and wonderfully cool, but moonflower tends to give me a headache since it amps so strongly on me. I wish it didn't!

Hot and dry! I'm sampling this on a very rainy, grey day so it's neat to smell something so sunny. I'm getting the amber and woods, but no flowers in this at all. It's an interesting blend although nothing that I'd ever wear.
