I wore Jingo Kogo on Thanksgiving...it smelled gorgeous but I wish it stuck around longer...today I'm going out to do a little retail therapy and think I might wear beaver moon 2010...I've only worn it once and got complimented on it already!

Snow white+pine+ a little extra sweetness= The Waltz of the Snowflakes

As soon as I saw the notes listed for this one I knew I MUST own a bottle of it....and I must say...this is unlike any other BPAL bottle I own! In the bottle: The strongest note for me in the bottle is the white chocolate, lettuce, and coconut...if you were worried about the white chocolate in this one, don't...because it faded as soon as I put it on my skin. Once this hits my skin this turns into a very light "watery" scent.... that is the only word that comes to mind....I smell mostly what I'm guessing is frosty lilac petals, the wild lettuce, and coconut(but a very very light coconut). Overall I'm very happy with this and I'm very happy to add it to my extensive collection....It's very hard to compare this to another BPAL scent because like I said, it's unlike any other scent I've tried. It's a very innocent scent....I have a 9 month old daughter and while I DO NOT put perfume on her (duh) I think this would be the most appropriate one for her when she gets older and wants to wear "mommy's perfume"

I really really wanted to love this one as I LOVE rootbeer and would love to smell like it unfortunately my skin chemistry had it's way with this one and turned it into something that smells like a bandaid that had a tad of rootbeer spilled on it so so sad

This is GOOD!!!! When I saw all the comparisons to cruch berries...I tried and tried to imagine what crunchberries smelled like "it's been a LONG time since I've had crunchberries" but as soon as I opened the bottle....DING...the light came on...this is sitting on the floor when I was 5 in my footie pajamas eating crunch berries while watching Saturday morning cartoons.... I wish it lasted longer on my skin!

Just received a bottle of The Girl from a purchase over on LJ...definitely NOT what I was expecting....when I opened it it reminded me of Gypsy Moth??? I don't know even know if they share any notes?? Weird....when I put this on it's very very light (and I slathered it)...I guess I was expecting something more sharp and floral....I would say this scent is definitely elusive as advertised...I would describe it as light and creamy...I like it!

CCC This one smells very strong....when I opened the bottle it seriously hit me in the face!! O and peppermint...this is a buttery peppermint.....it reminds of of an essential oil that is used during my accupuncture.....very nice and happy! CCLXXX???(the numbers on this one are very hard to read, mostly worn off) I hit the jackpot with this one I thought SMUT when I first opened the bottle...but once I put it on it turns to snake charmer meets mme moriarty......I think this might be O with black plum and red musk??? I had to look again at the bottle because I get no O from this whatsoever....I thought maybe they gave me a snake oil bottle on accident.....but it says O on the bottle. Either way this one is a clear very thick oil....and heavenly...keeper for sure!!

So weird....I'm not getting all of the apple that everyone else gets.....mainly I get cream (which I do love) and some fruit.....and a little sweet pea........the cream sticks around for a long time but the fruits fade on me.....overall a nice cheery scent!

This scent is DIVINE!!!! For all of you Dorian lovers out there...this is a MUST HAVE!!!! Dorian+Lavender= I get mostly the sweet tea of Dorian....not very much (if any) snake oil.....plus lavender...but not in your face lavender....this is a very feminine version of Dorian.....very soft and very lovely. I HEART THIS SCENT!!!!

This was the very last bottle of Chaos Theory I purchased right before they came down: MCCCXLI In the bottle: Hello dandelion!!! This is very much dandelion and cucumber. Very similar to the dandelion from One to Tie Two to Win......but this also has the soothing smell of the last version of blue moon....cucumber and aloe. On the skin: Very similar to the last Blue Moon...aloe and cucumber....with strong wafts of Dandelion. I used to own a bottle of Dandelion SN....this very much reminds me of that....but not as simple as Dandelion SN was.....this is Dandelion SN with cucumber and aloe...which makes is more perfumey. Surprisingly this lasts quiet a while. What a lovely surprise this one was!!

DCCCl (850) The person I purchased this from described it as purple snow fairy/violet bubblegum. In the bottle:whoa....I'm definitely getting some berry...it reminds me of the berry in crumpet rebellion without the tart part that made crumpet rebellion so foody. On first sniff I would say this is berry and sugar plum?? On the skin: When I put this on I get an effervescent sugar plum and some pink lemonade?? I don't really get any bubblegum which is ok with me because bubblegum scents end up being way too sickly sweet for me. This also shares some of the notes in Teenage Cannibal.....maybe it's the lemon and candyfloss that is similar?? Overall this is a lovely fruity scent....I would call this one Tart Lemonade Sugar Plum. Definitely a purple scent!! A little sad that it fades fairly quickly on me

MLX (1060) The person I bought this from described it as bubblegum and incense. In the bottle yep...that's bubble gum...I get a very spicy bubble gum...kind of how double bubble smells in the wrapper....it smells like bubblegum...but it smells like spicy bubble gum...not like sweet sweet bubbulicious bubble gum. On my skin yep...still bubble gum...this reminds me a little of Xanthe the weeping clown but with a bite...like if Xanthe had a mouthful of sharp teeth and fangs instead of a sad clown face. It remains spicy bubble gum throughout.....this is a gorgeous bubble gum scent for those that don't want to smell TOO girly!! I like it alot!!

Ooohh this is fun!!! Bottle DCCCLXV- 865 (Evil gingerbread inscence)-When I first opened the bottle I thought foody....like maybe gingerbread or something dark...maybe some dark wood in there too. The drydown however leaves me with a nice inscence scent.....and wood. Kind of like I remember Catholic mass smelling like ....the wooden church pues with the roman inscence...the gingerbread is still there....a very dark gingerbread.... Very nice but not really my thing....off to swaps Bottle CMXLII- 942 (Snow Angel's twin sister) In the bottle the lemon jumps out at me....not just regular lemon but a very vibrant cheery lemon with lots of sugar...maybe some peach or citrus?? The drydown remains very lemony...almost exactly like the hard candy lemon drops...very nice!! Edited to add: Ok it just struck me.....I ran over to my imp pile and brought out my imp of Snow Angel......this scent is almost EXACTLY snow angel with just a tad more lemon.....I almost couldn't tell the difference between the two! This one is a winner!!

In the bottle this smells like canned pears... with sweet sticky syrup....it's delicious....unfortunately once this hits my skin..the pear fades quickly and I'm left with a lovely vanilla....I may purchase another bottle of this since Beth doesn't seem to make alot of pear blends....I just wish it lasted longer on my skin.

I thought that delousing powder smelled very similar to snow angel.....I get sparkling lemon with some powder in the background...once it dries it turns into lemony powder on me....kind of smells like a lemon drop candy to me.....a very bright and cheery lemony scent!

I just cannot say enough good things about One to tie, two to win....I own a bottle of Dandelion SN but never wear it as I'm afraid I will run out and that will be the end....but I have found my Dandelion SN backup with this one...this scent is a dead ringer for Dandelion SN with a little bit of green grass thrown in. It's very fresh and clean smelling and will most likely be my signature scent for the summer...if you didn't buy a bottle...run out and get one before it's gone....it's that good!!!!

I didn't really get honeydew from 51....and that's what I was hoping it would smell like...the musk totally overwhelmed any honeydew that was in this scent Fee is my holy grail BPAL scent and I've been looking for something that is similar to it in the GC or even recent LE scents but nope......maybe someday.

This scent has definitely made it to my top 10 list....very clean and refreshing...like a salty summer breeze coming off of the ocean.....it's a little sweet and a little salty with the right amount of something green smelling thrown in. Growing up in San Diego I have always had unlimited access to the beach....this scent takes me there while sitting at work in an office building with no beach in sight. LOVELY

I'm usually not into minty scents..but this one is lovely!!! It smells like a girl scout thin mint cookie. It smells very chocolately (maybe this is the snake oil) I do smell a little bit of the green tea...but mostly this is chocolate and mint on me. Bravo Beth!! Who wouldn't love to smell like a thin mint? This would be a gorgeous summer scent...the mint would really cool me down on a hot sticky day!!

Banded Sea Snake doesn't scream "SNAKE OIL" to me. It smells a little masculine...like a light men's cologne...it very much reminds me of Dorian, but a more aquatic version of Dorian. This is very fresh and clean smelling....it would be great for a man or a woman......I find myself wearing this one as a comfort scent......I do really like this alot

This scent is lovely....sooo very lovely. In the bottle: If yellow and green had scents....this is what it would smell like...you can smell the yellow of the flower AND the green of the stem. On my skin the green fades away into the background leaving the wonderful dandelion scent....this is true dandelion folks...no imitation scent here. I smell like a bouquet of flowers freshly picked...this is going to be a lovely spring/summer scent. I am so very much in love with it

I had seen snow flakes being compared to snow white...so I figured I would give it a shot....snow white and I did not get along....she tempted me with her gorgeous scent in the bottle..but once I put her on my skin she turned to burnt plastic!! Snow flakes is everything I wanted snow white to be and more...very aquatic and minty...but there is an underlying coconut scent as well....and maybe a little cucumber I love cucumber....this scent is very light and pretty...definitely a keeper....and cheaper than snow white too!!! Gotta love that

Hellion is everything I was hoping for and more! This is all that I've worn since I recieved it from a wonderful swapper This smells like incsense....and black cherry.... the juiciest black cherry you could imagine....a very dark and mysterious scent....this is what I wanted Queen of Spades to be.....Hellion lives up to it's name....I can see why this is so popular...!! Very long lasting too....I can still smell it 8 hours after I put it on this morning!! This is definitely in my top 5!!!!

Boomslang is definitely for the chocolate lovers...to me it smells like a grasshopper cookie......almost a minty chocolate....which is odd because there is no mint listed in the description. Again, as with most of the snake pit, the snake oil is very much in the background with this one....barely there but still making it's presence known.

I would also like to compare this to Creepy or Beaver Moon.....both scents are very foody to me and Anaconda definitely belongs in the foody category along with them...I smell butterscotch.....with the snake oil wwaaayyyy in the back jumping up and down waving for it to be seen. Overall a beautifully blended foody scent.....I will cherish my imp.
