Notes I tend to favor: vanilla, any sandalwood, apricot (<3 the Lab's). apple, any tea, vetiver, gin, oak, musks (red especially), coffee, spice (though amp cinnamon a bit ad cardomon can become a single note), red and black currants, honey, amber, resins, leather, beeswax/candle. Notes to try more of: milk/cream, other woods, pear, grape, other berries. Generally, I'm all over the place, but tend to like to be a touch feminine most of the time.
Things I might amp too much to enjoy: anise, magnolia.
Notes that clearly don't work for me: most evergreens, aquatic/ozone, narcissus, white peach.
BPAL scents that haven't worked for me: Ranger (went soap/laundry detergent, suspect all evergreens, juniper for sure), R'lyeh (no rash, just became itchy all over), Dragon's Tear (just, blegh after drying)
