Hoo boy. I got this as a freebie with something I bought from someone (I got a bunch of orders all at once, so I forgot who this one came from.) Sniffing the imp: Holy strongness! My first reaction was "Ick!". But then it gives off a slightly sweet note. Mostly a cedar-like wood and lots and lots of smoke. I was afraid to try this one... Wet: The sweet note comes out a bit more, but it's stil an extremely strong woodsy, campfire smell. Dry: It's a nice sweet campfire smell. A bit too woody and masculine for my tastes, but it's still nice. Obviously, since I keep sniffing my wrist as I type. Overall: It's a very nice, evocative scent. Both comforting and threatening (as all smoke smells are for me). I think this would be a good cold weather scent. Like in the depths of winter when I'm snuggled in a thick sweater and blankets. This one would probably warm me right up...

I got an imp of this as a freebie and it's something I definitely wouldn't have bought on my own, but I love it! Sniffing the bottle:Overwhelmingly sage and musk. Almost didn't want to put it on me. Wet: The sage is still very strong, but the musk dies down a bit and I get a very floral scent. I might be getting a bit of sweet pea, but tonka is depressingly absent. Dry: Even the sage dies down and I'm left with a nice floral scent, meaning the sweet pea has come forward. Later: It's turned into a powdery scent that others complained of. But I like that, very springy. Girly, yet mature and very inviting and pretty. I'll have to save this one for spring and wear it when I'm feeling girly. On a +++ scale, this one gets a +. Meaning I like it, I'll keep it, but I'm not rushing out for a whole bottle.

From the bottle: A light green apple with an undertone of fruity goodness and a base that's a touch sensual (probably those 'lunar oils'). Wet on skin: The green apple intesifies and I still can't quite make out any other fruits except fruits as a whole. Slightly sweet, but the green apple adds a bit of 'bite'. The sensual base I got from the bottle peeks through. Barely. Dry: The green apple bite lessens and I'm left with a fruity blend. Invigorating and a bit sexy. Very glad I snagged a 5mL of this! Later:Wow, I washed my hands and did some washing for dinner and this scent is still going! I'm a little put out that there wasn't more depth to this scent. It basically boiled down to green apple on me, and I've realized there's a hint of guava to it. And the green apple came back a few minutes after drying, stays quite strong and overshadows the other notes. But it's still quite nice. Light, refreshing and invigorating. A good everyday scent, great for summer.
