    Rose Moon

In the bottle Rose Moon smells very rosy, like a weaker version of Peacock Queen. On me it turns a little powdery and the lemon comes out a bit. After I've worn it for a while it smells very musky to me and that's probably the patchouli. I'm not getting any of the other notes yet. I'll have to wear this one a few more times to decide if I like it or not.

Ah, I did so want to like this. Upon first smell I laughed. It is a light somehow amusing scent that seemed quite promising, sweet and silly at the same time. Putting it on however a faint bitter note came out on my skin that grew as time passed. And boy did it persist! This is a very strong scent. I washed my hands three times immediately and could still smell it. The next morning, twelve hours later, I could still smell it. I don't know if it was the carnation or the phlox for I've not worn either note before, but I shall to watch out for them in the future. Alas.

This is a very interesting scent to me. Not at all what I would have thought of. On me it smells like cookies. Delicious sugary chocolate cookies. A nice scent but not particularly me. Ah well.

I fear that I am a novice sniffer and cannot yet separate components, but here goes. In the bottle this smells very green to me, but also of food oddly enough. On me it smells very sweet and spicy and still make me think of food, but I cannot think what kind of food. The only word I can think of to describe it is delicious. I know the components listed in it but I cannot separate them. To me they blend into an overarching whole that is very compelling. The scent is very visceral for me, plucking something deep inside. It truly speaks to me in ways I cannot describe. Of all the BPAL I have tried this is my absolute favorite.
