Oh dear. On me, this is the dreaded Play-doh smell. Oh well. This and Persephone are the only BPAl oils that have turned weird on me.

Ok - *this* is heaven in a bottle. I put this on the 5ml list as soon as I opened up the sample imp I received. It does smell like ginger and milk and honey - but on me this isn't just a warm, comforting, innocent scent. There is something very sexy about it, very approachable, but distinctly seductive. This absolutely my new favorite BPAL oil.

I love this! I don't get the pinesol or bengay scent at all - on me Yggdrasil is a crisp, green, woodsy smell. Like a pine forest in the heat of late afternoon, with crushed herbs underneath. It's wonderfully fresh and alive. Distinct but not overpowering. I think this scent would work well in summer and winter.

I received this as a frimp with a previous order. I didn't even know what dragon's blood resin was until I got this imp - How could I have lived without it??? This is a rich, red, warm, sexy scent. To me, this smells like an occult bookstore, and that's a good thing! This is a little musky, and a little spicy, but mostly it's just itself on me. Of all the BPAL oils I've tried, this one remains the most unchanged -it stays true and strong for hours. This also has a tremendous amount of throw, and I have to go easy on it. This oil makes me feel sexy and confident - it's the sexiness of strength, though, not of seduction, if that makes sense. I feel powerful and magical when I wear this. It's hotter than Satan's armpit right now, so I don't want to wear anything this heavy right now. But I can't wait until the weather cools off again. Every so often I get my big bottle of Dragon's Heart out again, sniff it longingly, and think of snowy days.

I received White Rabbit as a frimp with a previous order. I ignored it for a couple of days, because the description just didn't interest me at all. Then I did smell it, and nearly swooned! The combination of the lemon, honey, and tea is just sublime. I thought it was going to smell.... sticky, I guess. Or foody. Or something. But it's a clean clear bright smell. Wet, it reminds of being outside, somehow, drinking tea on a brisk spring morning when everything is sharper and clearer. After a few hours this becomes more subtle and sexy - I think that's the honey. It really warms up on my skin - the honey and lemon smells very natural, like a skin smell, and the linen and tea come up more - keeping this bright and sparkly. I ordered a 5ml of this and have worn it all summer.

This is my very first review! I received a frimp of Whitechapel with my recent order and tried it without having read the description or the reviews. Wet: Lime lime lime! Like when you cut up a lime to make gin and tonics. Very sharp and clean. Drying: More complex - I smell the white musk and the citrus, but not the floral notes, which is fine with me. This is a beautiful, beautiful scent, and absolutely perfect for the hot humid weather. Dry: Much more faint now, the lime has backed off considerably. Still a lovely hot weather scent. I will definitely be getting a bottle of this for next summer. This didn't smell masculine to me - to me this was a very gender neutral scent.
