Hmm. Pumpkin Queen is one of favorite BPAL scents (and the only one I have a full backup of) so I was hoping for the best when I ordered a full bottle of the Princess. Sniffing the two bottles side by side I can smell the similarities. The pumpkin note is the same to me and quite strong but while the Queen is a little heavier and darker, the Princess has a brighter fruity vibe. It's the same on my skin. On one arm Pumpkin Princess blooms into a slighty floral fruit with a base of pumkpin and on the other Pumpkin Queen is gingery amber-drenched pumpkin.

Hmm. Wet this reminded me of Candy Butcher a little. Which makes sense since it did exactly what Candy Butcher did. On drydown that turned into chocolate-covered flowers and this became candied flowers on my skin.

(sigh) In the bottle: Patchouli & cedar. On me: Patchouli & cedar. Fate of the bottle? See eBay.

Cheesecake. That tarty cake scent. Underneath something sweeter and warmer. I love this. Just wish it had more throw. I'll need another bottle because this requires slathering.

In the bottle: dry cocoa On me: creamy floral vanilla Between this and the cakey goodness that is Haloa I'm so happy.

Baku is a nice soft lavender.

In the bottle: all pumpkin. On me: spicier and warmer that dries down to a golden amber scent. (Even if I didn't love it I would keep the bottle just for the adorable little witch on the label.)

No honey and no musk here. Just a very pretty feminine floral.

Candied fruits with a sprinkle of pepper.

Everything seems to smell like a colour to me. That's what I get for being a very visual person. White Light smells doesn't actually smell white to me. It's more of an uplifting, pale sunshiny yellow floral. Incredibly effective. Anxiety attacks, begone.

Scent: I can't describe it. It smells like yellow and green to me, if that makes sense. But everyone who smells it seems to love it. I decanted some into an one of those little imp-sized roller ball vials and I carry it in my purse. Does it work? Yes. Whenever I wear it to work, I get compliments on my job performance. Which where I work is no small feat. I think I'll wear it to my job interview on Saturday.
