Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I've been wanting to try Alice anyway--sounds like it's for me! I'll look up the other stuff and see if it sounds like something I'd like. Feel free to add more suggestions as you think of them.

I kinda feel like I am a weird mix of being really old-fashioned but also striving to be quite modern. Are there any perfumes that strike you as being both "old and new"? I haven't tried many BPAL scents yet, but I know I love Carnivale, Tombstone on my boyfriend, Harlot, Bordello, and Old Rome (although that last one goes "perfumey" on me).
