So I've skimmed through almost all the reviews on this scent so far, and I can honestly say that I'm glad I tried it before I read about it. Because... wow. Based on your descriptions, I would have been desperate to try it. Spearmint? Ozone? Clean fresh green scent? I would have loved that. I would have been bouncing up and down excited about it. As it is, Cathode, on me, is flea powder. No really. I put it on, and five seconds later I was like "....oh my god. I smell like a vet's office." I will commend it for its staying power, its throw, and its uniformity -- I smelled very strongly, very distinctly, and very consistently of flea powder for as long as I had it on me, but... yeah. Definitely flea powder. So sad. I'm glad that it worked so well for so many people, though. Surely mine can find a better home.

the most impressive thing about this oil to me so far is its unbelievable staying power. I'm still in my discovery phase here, and I've already found a number of oils that I think are beautiful, but my skin eats through them in a matter of hours and sometimes minutes. So imagine my surprise when I try a little bit of this on first thing in the morning, and then when I get home from work some twelve hours later, I can still smell it on me. Better yet, without reapplying even the tiniest drop, I changed clothes and went out to a concert in a smoky, sweaty, unairconditioned bar, and when I got home hours later, I still smelled fabulous! Anything that can survive that kind of abuse has my vote already, and it helps that it smells amazing to me in the first place. I love the rich full bodied feel to it, the spicy cling makes me feel utterly erotically heathen, like someone else before me said. This is the second time that a surprise freebie has turned out to be one of my overall favorites. Hooray!

I've scanned most of this thread and learned alot, thanks for sharing, everyone! haven't seen a question on this yet, so I feel compelled to ask: What could you recommend that is similar to Peitho? I love love LOVE the way it smells wet. I think it's my new favorite for the time being. I think it's some combination of the lily against the bourbon or...something. I don't know but I'm totally infatuated. Sadly, it wears off almost immediately. Short of buying it by the gallon and, y'know, bathing in it...what can I do? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
