07 version: A fresh, dewy rose. It's simply perfection. I have been searching for a rose scent that smelled like a real rose - not a perfumey rose. I wasn't having any luck, but now - I've found her! Rose Red is amazing. I kept smelling myself all day and it lasted all day for me as well. My husband also said that he loved the way I smelled when wearing it - and he usually hates florals. That says a lot. My poor credit card...between this and my beloved Snow White - I'm going to be broke!

The first time I wore this one it turned into a creamier Alice on me, but now it's a light musky floral. It smells very feminine and pretty on me. The lavendar is there initially, but then the musk comes out and rounds out the scent. I am not very good at describing things, but it's beautiful, simple, and girly without being overly sharp or headache-y on me. I love this one.

This also reminds me of the cider Pumpkin Patch which I love! It's a little bit more spicy though and a bit "fuller" in scent. This is a lovely well rounded fall scent - pumpkins, cider, and spice. It really makes me think of the bright colors of the changing leaves. It's autumn in a bottle!

I am in love with Kindly Moon. I'm SO glad I have two bottles. This scent is just as people said above, a slightly fruity floral initially. It then morphs on me into a subtle elegant floral with a creamy, ethereal flavor. It makes me smell feminine, elegant, and slightly mysterious. I love it. Other opinions: My husband liked it a lot. He said it smelled "Sweet (not like food but like personality) and pretty".

I wish this one were buttery and cakey on me. I was SUPER excited about it because I love foody especially buttery ... *sigh* It did not turn out that way. This one turned really spicy on me instantly and then as it dried down it turned into spicey sour...really sour. I had to go scrub it off my elbow because it made me sick to my stomach. I've never had to do that before. I'm so sad that Cockaigne and I were not meant to be!

I am in LOVE!!!!!!!!! Why do I have to be madly in love with one of the rare scents? Geesh. This is very strongly vanilla on me with a hint of sandalwood and what I guess would be the saffron. What is awesome is the butter rum. It wafts off of me in the most delightful way and gives me an aura of yumminess. It is definitely a sweet scent but I love it. Then again, butter rum is a favorite of mine as is vanilla. This one does have amazing staying power on me as well. I can put it on before work and come home from work with a bit of sugary goodness still wafting.

Yum. This one definitely makes me want to eat my arm! LOL. It smells like warm, spicy coconut at first, but the spice fades a bit during dry down and out comes the cocoa and cake. The coconut stays strong throughout. I don't think this will be an everyday scent, but it is definitely comforting and delicious. I'm glad I snagged a bottle and a decant of this in a swap!

My least favorite of all the Monster Baits. The bourbon turns the blackberry all sour on me and it ends up smell like dark berry cough syrup with a hint of butter cream. No cake, and barely enough of butter cream to make it tolerable. (Butter cream is one of my favorite notes!) A big ol' disappointment for me. I'm sure others would like it, but I am sensitive to berry to begin with. I was hoping for more butter cream with a hint of berry. This is the other way around on my skin. Off to swaps with this one!

I don't get vanilla from this one at all. At first, it reminded me of a cherry spritzer. Cherry but light and fuzzy. It then started turning sweeter sweeter until it turned into sugary sweet baby powder. *pout* Not what I wanted at all. I'm going to give it another go before trading off my imp, but this one was a heartbreaker. I love fruity vanilla and that's what I was hoping for after reading the reviews.

Ewewew. Just picked an imp of Le Serpent Qui Danse at the lab last night for will call and tried it today. It turned all gross w/ my body chemistry. To my nose, it smelled like playdoh and to my husband's cheap bubblebath. Sad... It sounded like it would be amazing. Oh well, off to swaps or enabling.

I just had to pick this up last night after trying it at will call. It's a little herby/green in the bottle, but on I can really smell a mix of dried flowers like filigree described above and ginger. Lots and lots of ginger. I smell like a spicy flower. I love it! Very great scent to pick up at my first will call. It's my "NEW" lunacy too! Great way to kick things off. Edit: I put it on again today. It's the first time I've worn it since will call on Thursday night where I tried it out. :-/ The two spots I put it on my neck turned red, though that faded. My wrists are a bit itchy. SAD! I hope this is just a fluke. It smells DIVINE. My husband loves it.

I do think I would have to agree with everyone who is saying this is the non-rose lovers rose. Since discovering BPAL, I've noticed that rose isn't something that suits me. I love roses, but just not on me. They're usually too strong and give me a bit of a headache. Moon Rose is a very delicate rose that is both pretty and feminine without being overly sweet or flowery. It reaches the perfect balance of beauty and elegance. It's strong wet, but fades down into a beautiful subtle rose. At first I was afraid it was going to fade away since the change was so dramatic, but it's 5 hours later and now is about ready for a reapplication. That's pretty darn good in my books for a delicate scent. I just love it. I'm definitely going to need a 5ml of this.

This to me is the perfect work scent. It's clean, fresh and fruity without being annoying to your office mates. I think the fruity notes really help this clean fresh scent have a somewhat girly and cheery feel. I just felt great all day wearing Embalming Fluid. I will definitely be buying a bottle of this.

I adore this scent. It's sweet and girly on me with a hint of sexy incense underneath. This one has been a big hit at work! It is a bit potent at first but it soon fades down to this beautiful floral masterpiece without being too in your face girly. It's great for those days where I still want to be girly around the house while wearing a baggy t-shirt and jeans. I'm SO glad I have a bottle of this one!

Oh my gosh. Another version of sex in a bottle. How do you make such amazing scents Beth? I'm sad I came into the world of BPAL too late to order a giant supply of this one! This is a bit more feminine on me than Snake Oil (my other fav)..or more perfumey (probably the musk). The two combined though. Oh...my...goodness. I'm in love w/ this scent. The boozy notes are incredibly intoxicating. My hubby loves this one alone, but really loves it when layered with Snake Oil. I'll definitely be searching out bottles of this one.
