This is the one scent I fully expected to hate or for it to hate me. The opposite happened when I got my decant -- it's in love with my skin. Thank God I found a bottle! In Bottle: Very dark and complex, and if I'd just gone on that scent without putting it on my skin, I wouldn't have even tried my decant. The patchouli jumps out, and it tends to hate me. On Skin: WOW! Such a dark, delicious blend. My friend Dorei called it "Spicy Dr. Pepper" and I agree -- it's spicy and fresh and almost a bit bubbly. The patchouli stays nicely in the background, thank goodness. Drydown: It morphs a fair amount, but it disappears a little more quickly than I'd like. Damn scent-gobbling skin. Throw: Fair to middlin'. This is one I'd like to try for, ehm, intimate occasions, because I have a feeling it would be seductive up close. Overall, this is true love for me. Now I need a boy to test this on...

In the bottle: Chocolate orgasmic goodness. Chocolate and orange, mostly. On Skin: Hey, where did the chocolate go? I agree with the reviews before -- it definitely has a perfumey scent, and it's hard to smell anything beyond lots and lots of sharp generic spice. Not fond of this part at all. In Drydown: Around 30 minutes afterward, the chocolate peeks back out, and the orange, vanilla and sandalwood become the most prominent. It hangs around fairly well, too -- could still smell it until about 6 hours later (my skin eats scent, so this is typical for a really long-lasting oil.) Throw: Pretty decent -- I could still smell it easily without sniffing my wrist for a couple of hours. Overall: I was hoping for a chocolate Underpants, and it's at least in the neighborhood. Right now, I like the Candy Butcher better, but I have a feeling this will be getting some fair use in the future. I'll just have to learn to tolerate the first part.
