Hexennacht (2005, 2016, 2019)

Very smoky. I get mostly incense and a bit of exercise-sweat. Light herbs in the background, but not really getting the fir. Definitely autumnal. -
Pretty! Very soft. Definitely amber, but not in your face.
-
Interesting. Definitely aquatic, and the floral I'm getting here is mostly jasmine and ylang ylang, I think. However, I'm also getting a touch of something fruity - grapes? It's a little too cloying for me, however.
-
Pure citrus. Blech. On to someone else.
-
Very aquatic, but the verbena is also beating up on everything else. Not really getting the nutmeg or cypress. The lavender is barely there, hiding under the verbena. This has a "furniture polish" smell to it.
-
Salty aquatics. Go figure from something called tears. It reminds me of a soft floral bath salt. Pretty, but since I just have a tester imp I'll probably pass it on to someone else.
-
Exactly what it says. Citrus-y florals. For a citrus scent, it's not overpowering or overwhelming, but it's just "meh" to me.
-
original Lady Macbeth On me: Fruity bliss! Mostly this is currants and wine, but I think I get some raspberry underneath. Not getting thyme, really, but this is rich and absolutely gorgeous! Score: 5 new Lady Macbeth On me: This isn't as rich as the original formulation, and it's fading into my skin rapidly. However, it starts brightly before fading into a soft wine. Bit more thyme here. I still love it! Score: 5

Oh, this is beautiful! Why does it have to be so rare! I'm getting plum and blackberry in a light bed of vanilla. Touch of coconut, but not enough to make it tropical. Lightly musky, and not really getting the woodsy notes, oakmoss, or vetiver.
-
Very cold and aquatic, on top of roses. It's not bad, but it's the rose note that doesn't work as well on me. I'll save judgment for later.
-
Very herbal. I actually mostly get spearmint out of this, which is odd because it's not a listed note - maybe that's the lichen? I sort of get a woodsy feel, but no florals at all.
-
Fairly herbal, and smells pretty masculine. I think I get a touch of lemon, rosemary, and maybe some light florals? Not really for me.
-
Went on pure cherries, but has rapidly turned into primarily almond and saffron. Very rich, but it has that same thing in it that Sacred Whore of Babylon does that is giving off a Corn Puffs smell. Moderately musky, and I get the amber and myrrh, but mostly I get Corn Puffs. Not for me.
-
Mostly jasmine, alas. Lightly musky. Not really getting much lemon peel or sandalwood at all, and the other florals are pretty subsumed in the jasmine.
-
Barely there. It's woodsy, but not overwhelmingly evergreen like I expected it to be. This is woods on a crisp, cool night when you need a fire out. It's vaguely smoky. Maybe a touch of juniper berry?
-
Softly floral - mostly rose I think, but I'm also getting some lilac? It's delicate and pretty.
-
Oooh, now this is pretty! I get a grown-up floral baby powder. It's definitely sweet, which I suppose is the sugar. I'm not really getting peach or lemon at all! It sort of reminds me of a slightly richer/spicier EBM, which doesn't really make sense from the notes but oh well.
-
Strong neroli. There's something underneath that's softer that I like, but neroli still smells like tampons on me. Boo. Ah well, this can go on to someone who will like it more.
-
Very herbal, somewhat sharp. I think there's some lemon or lemongrass underneath, but the top is sage or thyme or something. Not for me.
-
Yup, that's honey, and amping as usual on me. Absolutely lovely, and I hate that I only have a few drops of this!
-
Lots of leather! Some soft florals underneath. Pretty and yet rugged.

CT3: CDXCVII On me: Neroli, some herbal, some other florals. A little chemically. Not for me. CT3: LXXXIX On me: Strongly herbal, in an herbal foody sense. Almost curry-like. Interesting, but not for me as a perfume. -
Very soft. Light florals, soft baby powder feel. Touch of some cinnamon or spice.

Other than PP3, I have yet to find a pumpkin scent that doesn't agree with me. Since this is supposed to be the God of the BPAL pumpkin scents, I expect that it will agree with me very very much. *sniff* Ooh, pumpkin bliss! This is a spicy pumpkin rather than a sweet one. I think I'm getting some clove. It's a fairly masculine pumpkin. Love it!

Pretty florals, but I can't really pick out anything specific. Fresh and spring-like.
