Rosey (duh). I do get a slight muskiness to it, but not so much on the amber. In general, this is a "deeper" rose than most rose scents. I like it. Very feminine, in a Victorian kinda way. Score: 4 out of 5

I definitely smell the flowers, and there is an earthy quality to it. It reminds me a bit of something I used to wear years ago, but I can't remember what exactly. Definitely pleasant, but also seems to be fading more quickly than some of the other ones. Now I'm remembering what it smells like - it smells like some of the more upscale sari and jewelry shops in India. Score: 3 out of 5

Definitely get the sandalwood and the tobacco, and there's almost a candy-like scent in the background. It sort of smells like teaberry gum. It's ok, but not one of my favorites. Score: 4 out of 5

I smell jasmine and rose. Not as Victorianish as some of the other rose-based ones of theirs I've tried. Has some darker undertones, too, and it's more complex than some other rose-based ones. Good scent. Score: 4 out of 5

Smells spicy. Almost has a grape-like tinge underneath. I smell more amber than anything else, but the myrrh and sandalwood are definitely hanging out in there. It's nice, but not orgasmic. My girlfriend says it smells like pot. Score: 3 out of 5

You know, I was just sitting here thinking this smells like a men's cologne. Then I read the catalog description. So I smell like a guy today. I smell the patchouli and the thyme and maybe the lavender. I don't really get the jasmine and I have no clue what the rest of that stuff is...it's ok, but I'm not a guy and this really smells like guy stuff. I bet I would like it on my girlfriend. Score: 3 out of 5

... Our Grand Guignol perfume is a shot of sweet apricot brandy; just enough to settle your nerves after a ghoulish, gory brush with the macabre. Smells like bitter cough syrup. Blech. Definitely not keeping this one. Score: 1 out of 5

Definitely smell the fruits. A very rich scent, with a bit of some anise in the undertones. The anise means it's not one of my favorites though. It evolved into much less anise-y, more fig and currant. I can work with this. Score: 3 out of 5

I am one with the pine forest. Evergreens. Lots and lots of evergreens. Eau du Pine Sol, basically. Eh. Scent's okay, but not really very perfume-y, ya know? Score: 2 out of 5

Spicy! I really like the whole Mad Tea Party line - lots of spice. Definitely smell the musk and rosewood. A bit of teak, too. Me like very much. Score: 4 out of 5

Roses. Definitely got a lot of roses in there, but there's some spicy undertone, too. Some musk. Mama like. Score: 4 out of 5

Smells good! I smell all the notes. Top is jasmine, middle is myrrh, and the rose is underneath. This one also reminds me of India. I like it very much and I keep smelling myself. Score: 5 out of 5

Amaretto. Maybe honey, but mostly amaretto. Kinda sickly sweet, not really my thing. My girlfriend says it smells like baby powder. Score: 2 out of 5

Definitely herbal, but I can't pick out anything in particular. Some evergreens - pine, maybe? It's ok. Score: 2 out of 5

Coconut! I suppose I can get some peaches and ambers, but mostly coconut. My girlfriend says it smells like suntan lotion. Score: 3 out of 5

Definitely a bit of spice, but not as much as some of the Mad Tea Party scents. There's something floral - maybe a bit of jasmine? Some musk, too. Overall has an incense feel to it. Pretty good, not outstanding. Score: 3 out of 5

Really vile cherry cough syrup, with some plum. Blech. Do. Not. Like. Score: 1 out of 5

It's a nice blood color, too. When I first put it on, all I smelled was cherries, which made me sad because chemical cherries smell like ass. However, the cherries faded and now I'm left with a nice spicy smell. Yay for blood! Lots of myrrh, and I can smell the cloves too. Good blood! Score: 5 out of 5

I didn't like it when I first put it on, but now it smells very figgy. A little honey, milk, and almonds underneath. I don't really smell the coconut or sandalwood. Pretty good, overall. Score: 3 out of 5

I like this one very much - I give it a 5 out of 5. Very floral, reminiscent of a secluded Victorian garden or something. Rose is fairly predominant, but I smell the other flowers, too. Mama like.

The catalog says: A gloriously elegant representation of Lady Death. Dry, bone-white orris, black musk, serpentine patchouli and our murkiest myrrh. Smells a heck of a lot like Chantilly. Which is one of my favorite scents. Very elegant, very floral, with a smidge of alcohol undertone. Not really getting patchouli. Score: 5 out of 5

Oh wow! Cedar! This is definitely a man's scent, and she'll kill me for saying it, but I would probably love this on my girlfriend. When I was growing up, there was a cedar mill in the town where I lived, and if you drove past it at just the right time, it was the most heavenly scent in the world. Although I don't like this scent on me, I really want to see how it smells on my girlfriend. I think I would be a very happy camper. ETA: Yup. I love this on my girlfriend. She smells muy yummy! Rating: 3 out of 5 on me, 5 out of 5 on my girlfriend.

Holy chemical pine, batman! I feel like I just ran into a giant mutant Christmas tree. Definitely not for me. A bit later on, it gets a bit of candy tone to it, under the evergreen smell. But I still don't like it. My girlfriend says it smells like Pine Sol. Score: 1 out of 5

2005 version: Definitely an autumn scent. I smell smoke, and tobacco. The frankincense and myrrh are hiding in there and there is a touch of rose in the background. I think I would like this one on my girlfriend, too. Score: 4 out of 5

Earth sorceress and mother of Mordred, she is, in essence, the harbinger of King Arthur's doom and the downfall of Camelot. She is a sister, or sister-self, to Morgan Le Fay. A bouquet of five night-blooming flowers deepened by dusky violet, purple fruits and the barest breath of medieval incenses. This is very, very light. I smell grapes and jasmine. It's okay, but there's nothing special to it. Score: 3 out of 5
