I swear this smells like grenadine, chocolate syrup and peanut butter. The peanut butter is really strong in fact b/c my skin likes to amp nuts. I think there is a little bit of radioactive waste in here too. I love it...such a lovely novelty scent...but I think I will pass it on to a lovely home.

I have been dying to try this. Sometimes things are not worth the wait. This smells like cologney incensy paper. Where is my tobacco leaf? My dry dusty paper? *sigh* ETA: This dries down to a cologney incensy dry paper smell. Alas..it will have to find another home.

This ended up morphing from a gorgeous dark resinous blend to North Carolina Red Clay (this smell exactly like the earth there ) with a bit of incense remaining.

This went from a gorgeous incensy cinnamon (w/out the allergic reaction ) to High class cinnamon baby powder. I don't understand where we went wrong...but we did and now I have to break up with Cesky Krumlov.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils

Chimera, the wild men, and other cinnamon or cassia blends make my skin itch like nobody's business. I have yet to have an intense headache from an oil though. -
angel------------------> huge and for taking these pictures. I have been so freakin curious as to what they looked like. I can't wait to get my Semiramis Set!!!
-
No dragon's blood for me here. Just floral. Which turns into high class perfume soap. Must wash off now.

This is magical. This scent...is strong...but ethereal. I don't know what to say about it other than it is wonderful...so glad that I got an imp to love and cherish.
-
This is the lightest pine note I have ever sniffed. I am also getting some heat/warm smell from this. I also smells some sort of wildflower This is running around the pine trees and flowers on a hot NC day.

In Stellans previous post...she wanted the smoke, grass, and incense. I wanted the honey....we should really switch skin chemistry. I got ever note she wanted....no honey, no carnation, but moss, something smoky, frankincense....yeah...that's all I get here. So glad I got to try the scent...but I won't needing a bottle.

This smells off. There is something about the picture on the imp and the smell that eerily and creepily go well together. This is the first time that I can imagine what Sarah Michelle Gellar may have been smelling in the Grudge. I do not want to keep this imp around. But it is fascinating.

Brianne was right on the money....this is a wonderful smooth, lightly..barely sweet musk. I think I may need a bottle of this!

This is a very strange and complex perfume. One minute I get whiffs of jasmine, the next, mandarin, then the sweetness of benzoin, and tiny tiny amber and red musk. I was hoping for a stronger amber, red musk, bezoin....something. But my skin seems to want to just turn this into a generic mishmash of perfume. Meh...

This is why smoke and I don't get a long. This smells like the smoke from a bonfire. A sweet bonfire with a sweet smelling wood. It is lovely...but alas...it chokes my throat and makes me sneeze. But I love Beth's ability to put a sweet smelling bonfire in a bottle/imp.

This smells like a mintier, version of That Terror! on my skin, without the smooshy kiwi! Not too bad...not too great either. Meh.

Florals, with rain and citrus. With just a hint of cologne. This is gorgeous and a little goes along way.
-
This smells like the joy in music, with the hint of laughter of a lovely baby girl, with hints of jasmine and lemon. I love this....it's light, unintrusive, and darling.
-
A gorgeous sweet light incense. Maybe vanilla with incense. I want to age this one and see what happens!!!
-
Another cassia scent that I can't wear. The base has to be cardamom with a sweet musk of sorts, maybe vanilla or a sweet amber musk. Running around in here....hints of cassia. How do I know....my skin is starting to itch. See I am allergic to it.

This smelled like fresh potting soil, mixed with graveyard dirt with a hint of something green. It is actually quite lovely.
-
I definitely smell the freesia in this one, which often goes horribly one on me...but here it is tame. There is definitely some lily and lotus mixed with a hint of sweetness. It actually reminds me a bit of what a doll would smell like...minus the gross plastic note. I like it.

Only two ways to describe this perfume: Banana in a lush green tropical forest with tropical flowers. or Fresh Ripe banana with tropical greenery and flowers. It is absolutely gorgeous. So glad I was able to try this.

Closest topic I could find that dealt with funeral scents. As most of you know, I have a funeral to attend. I would like to wear something quiet, somber, and respectful...but something I will be able to smell and wear again. Most light scents...go poof on my skin. So far...Orpheus is a winner b/c of the honeysuckle note that makes it floral but not too overpowering and keeps things subtle. However, I am open to new suggestions and hope that you all can provide some help. Thanks!

Mint in the lick its is a little too strong. Anything that you can recommend that will compliment either the vanilla or the mint solely?
-
Any recommendations for bpal that may go with Scintillating Whipped? I love the mild mint/sweet vanilla notes of it.
