this is by far the strangest BPAL I have ever tried. The ifrit smells cool, with whisps of red musk and the slight spice of blackened ginger and pepper. I love it!!!! It's so clean and unobtrusive! Finally a bpal with Ginger that I can handle!!! Yes!

This starts out as smelling like the fresh green stem of a rose. Then it morphs into white rose. Drydown it smells just like a creamy white rose. I am so not a fan of this, and this one is off to the swaps!

The scent of fear, and terrifying pursuit: wind-whipped, chilly night air, oppressive black pine, globs of dark opopponax, and bleak cedar, and distant, unreachable church incense. This smells like very fresh green moss to me. I don't know where I get moss from, but that's what this smells like. On the drydown, it smells like green moss mixed with very perfumey incense. I am not a fan, but I do love the concept. I the lab and it's creativity and for paying such Homage to my favorite Halloween story!!!!

Decaying wood, Old flowers growing around tombstones, dark air in the cemetary. This smells just like I envision, a spooky creepy churchyard, on a dank dark nite on Halloween. There is definitely something rosy in this, but its very light. And there is something very cooling in this scent. I love it, I just don't think I NEED a bottle. But I will definitely wear this on halloween!

This smells like a generic man cologne. The kind that I used to smell when I worked in retail. Must wash this off, but I love the concept behind it!

This started out beautifully! Gingerbread, sugar, and incense. (wet in the imp and on the skin) now folks, the incense has taken over and turned my sugar into burnt gingerbread. (I think its the incense)I am going to have to wash this off, but I am glad I got to try it.

This is green grass mixed with a little bamboo and birchwood. Very refreshing. Not something I will wear all the time, But I am so glad I got decants to fill my bottle.
-
Smells like fresh cut grass. I ordered an imp for the novelty of it, cause I love the lab's creativity. But I don't think I want to walk around smelling and sneezing. So I will keep this one for now.

I love this. Wet: a fresh bamboo with a touch of something fruity Drydown: It settles down into fresh cut bamboo with a light cinnamon note. I am going to keep this imp, I just don't think I will wear this enough to warrant a bottle, but it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I lied. I caved. And after wearing this scent for a whole day, I bought the bottle. Gah!!!

Very clean with no florals.....Just water, and spice and something green like a forest or something else. This dries down to a walk in a forest with flowers, incense, fresh water and wood. I am glad I got a chance to sniff a rare, I see why its sought after, but not just for me.... D. Alice

I remember smelling this last year and the only thing I could smell was pumpkin. Now, the white chocolate, pomegranate, and other notes gently waft in and out with just the lightest hint of pumpkin. I have never been a pumpkin fan but this mixed with everything else is actually quite lovely. Glad I got this as a frimp. Don't need a bottle. But overall, this is wonderful!

Bright juicy sugary apple. It does have bubblegum note, but it fades quickly and turns into gorgeous ! So glad I have a partial of this.
-
wet in the imp: sandalwood and something else floral and fruity. Drydown: Plasticky Coconut and fake almond oil. Off to swaps/frimp pile.
-
In the imp: Dark, evil patchouli? drydown: Gorgeous dark resinous something. A little green around the edges. So glad I bought an imp. Don't think its bottle worthy though. I am going to age it to see how it stands out.
-
I don't think I ever reviewed this one. Such a shame, Faith and I have "a love thang" :D going on over here! I compared my back up bottle to my aged bottle. In bottle: Sugared candy violets Wet: Goes straight to a lightly sweet violet, perfectly powdery on my skin. Overall: I love this. Since I bought it, since I have aged it, and will continue to love it!!!

This smells like the green fairy from "Bram Stoker's Dracula" when prince Dracul describes where the green fairy lives in absinthe as it is poured over the sugar. It's very green, (color evoked is sparkling bright, limey green, like tinkerbell) this is all in the wet stages. On the drydown, it smells like mall handsoap on me. The cheap drying gunk that is in most public restroom dispensers! Not how I pictured myself with this scent. Alas, it is off to the swap pile with this one as well.

Sweet tobacco in the imp. On the dry down the coffee comes out and turns my gorgeous tobacco into vanilla coffee with way too much creamer. I don't know where I get creamer from but its there and coming out in spades. It's actually too cloying. I now see why others may like it, but alas it is not for me.

From the bottle to the drydown this smells like Thornton's Fruit Rock Candy. Esp. the orange candy. It smells great....I just don't think this one is for me.
-
Sweet and herbal from the bottle to the drydown. I love it. I am going to let it age a little before I wear it. I let it age. It didn't agree with me. The honeyed milk as turned sour on me now I want to cry But thankfully, my mother loves it and it has found a new home....

The Horn of Almalthea! Figgy goodness. -
This smells like warm orange russian tea. I don't know if I want to keep the bottle though. But it is lovely.

This smells like baking fudge, cookies, and pies all in the fall. It so wonderful and has strong throw and lasting power. I one phrase I love you!!

At first this smelled wonderful.....Orange marmalade with dirt and sticks. Then it went down hill from there.....The marmalade turned to sour oranges and got this weird alcoholic perfume smell. The dirt note stayed which was great, but the orange went all yucky. I am really glad I tried to use this as a car scent first. I hope someone will love this more than I can!
