Where is my order? What is Click N Ship? How long does this take?

... and then there's the rabid flying monkeys working at the post offices. Wait, that's another thread. -
Great googa mooga! Scarecrow has just beat out Lust in my husband's eyes. He finds it even sexier on me (and I have troubles wearing it to bed without being awakened for other activities when he gets home from work). Bottle: Very green, but a good green. Fresh cut grass green. Liking it already. First on: Wet, it's still green, even stronger, but there's something hiding under it now, darker, sun-dried hay. Dry: Running through a hayfield, with a boy you aren't quite sure you want to let catch you giving chase. Young, wild, and teasing. Wait ... it's changing. Something richer and spicier that I can't ID coming through on me. It's going from flirty and green to sensual and Hot. The heat is building, and I think I've just let that boy catch me after all. Sun-sweat, the earned hardwork satisfying sweat underneath it. Dry down: Hubby tried to bite me. Then he did. It reaches that sexy grass sweat, dry hay, golden sun heat and stays there without changing. I have a cat that doesn't like Mommy smelling just showered, and she'll refuse to cuddle in my lap if I'm "too" clean for her tastes. She LOVES Scarecrow, and will fight for my lap when I'm wearing it. Lasts a very long time on my skin. This is such an amazing keeper. There's a 5 or 10ml in my future of this one.

Hmm, that helps me with my decision towards ordering Caterpillar! Thank you.

Sniff test: Ooo, yummy! Can smell the pepper and clove and cinnamon. On me: Smells WONDERFUL, the clove and pepper really sing. Unfortunately, like anything with cinnamon in it, it burns my skin way too badly to wear. Which is a shame, because I really like the way it smells on me. Maybe a wearable vial, or on my clothing. On hubby: Talk about differences in body chemistry. On him, it's red hots. Sweet sweet cinnamon, too sweet. I was so hoping he could wear this well, because clove and cinnamon are two of his favourites, but it's just way too sweet on him. Neither of us were fond of it on him. No hint of pepper to it on him at all. Drydown: On him, it just kept getting sweeter. The burn lingered on me to the point that I finally had to wash it off. Final: I think this one will be a room scent. Blend with a little wax in a burner, or with some Everclear for the sheets. Love it, just can't wear it.

Initial sniff: Loved it, warm and decadently dangerous, strong cinnamon smell. On: On me, not going to work. It burned. Darnit. On Hubby: He's not allowed to wear this out of the house without me at his side. Seriously. It's utterly amazing on him, cinnamon without the sweet of red hots, a darker Sinnamon, laced with heady sandalwood and grounded with patchouli. It stays true on him, even through dry-down. His Sin, and my Lust. We should definitely be having sex more often than we do. Big bottle, definitely.

Initial sniff: Holy cow. Honey, are the kids asleep yet? Rich, sensual. This imp was immediately tried out. Wet: Sex. Really good hard against the wall hormonal sex. Throw me down and do me NOW. Sensual doesn't even begin to cover it. Very obvious instant physical reaction from my husband when he sniffed. Later: You mean it gets BETTER? Why, yes, yes it does. Musky, elusive, compelling, heavy-lidded afterglow sex. I'd catch people looking at me as I walked by, sniffing the air. Had one woman casually leaning into me in line at the store, just to sniff. Drydown: This stays pretty true to the original smell on my skin, and I adore it. The funny thing is, I don't really like ylang ylang at all, but in this, it's just amazing. Big bottle, oh yes. And then some spray for my sheets out of it, and body velvet cream, and ... Stay time: 12 hours later, I can still smell it on my skin. I dab a bit on my shoulders before going to sleep, and end up with utterly lovely dreams, and it migrates a bit to my hair while I'm sleeping. Wonderful lasting power. Absolute personal favourite.

Hubby got this imp for me. And I SO wanted to like it. Bottle: Wow, that is really sweet, with a sharp green edge underneath. Unsure already. The green was nearly medicinal, and clashed hard with the sweet rose. On, wet: Even more green, less of the sweet rose. Later: Almost starting to like it. There's more green to it now, reminding me of an old herbal shampoo I used to adore. No hint of rose. Drydown: NO NO NO. It has gone "old lady drowning in rose perfume" sweet on me, and is horrible with my body chemistry. Gaggingly rose. And it would NOT come off my skin. I scrubbed and tried, and it stuck with me. This one is going in a swap, or to a friend that it actually worked on. Definitely not for me, but it smelled wonderful on Tessa. Darnit.

Bottle: ... did Elizabeth put cherry NyQuil in by mistake? Close imp, toss aside. I decided that before I ordered more imps, I'd go through the ones I had immediately disliked and actually give them a try. I'm glad I did. On: Whoa, still very sharp, almost stinging my nose when wet. Not real impressed. But ... there's something there. Elusive still, but I'm not reaching for something to scrub it off. Another sniff, still slightly wet, and there's suddenly a coppery tang in the back of my mouth. Just like blood. That alone almost made it a winner, just because there was suddenly the perfect 'Yes This Is What It's Called' sense. Drydown: Yay, the cherry faded into subtle sweet. The clove never really came out for me, but the dragon's blood and myrrh absolutely blossomed as it warmed and worked with my chemistry. It's still a bit sweet for me, but I like this one. Once I got over the first half-hour of wearing it, it really grew on me. Unfortunately, it's also fading too fast. I see that as a problem, since I'd have to endure the initial yuck factor, but I'm going to keep trying this one.

Bottle: Koolaid. Ugh, close imp, go on to next. It was seriously an initial turn-off for me, but later, when I was wallowing happily in Lust and my youngest daughter came up and begged, I opened the Black Lotus for her. On: Whoa. Hold the bus. That's not how it smelled in the bottle at all. Very ... pink, still, very girly and sweet, but it's not Koolaid anymore either. Later: Kid still smells very good. Mellowing down to something more subtle, with a darker hint beneath that sugary surface (oddly enough, just like the daughter in question). It's too sweet and floral for me, I like darker, spicier, woody and earthy scents, but it's utterly fabulous on my daughters, who adore it. ADDED July 6: Update: It's not lasting very well on me, but I'm starting to like it. The scent gets very smokey on me after a while, drying down the very sweet that doesn't quite work on me. A fun light scent, still too sweet for my personal tastes, but it might be a nice wedding/baby shower/girl's day at the spa scent.

I'm not much of a rose fan (though I love my rose bushes, it is NOT a scent that works on me), so I'm a little biased here. Initial: I gagged, to be honest. A very medicinal sort of green and rose. On: Hmm. Medicinal fading rapidly into rose. A heady rose, but a smokier one. Not too bad, but still too rose. Later: Uh. Where'd the rose go? Now I get a grapey merlot sort of smell. I think I like this. Dry-down: No. Way. From merlot, to grape koolaid. Just doesn't work for me at all. This one goes into swaps, I think.

Initial: Huge flashback to my teen years, walking into the tobacco shop in the mall to look at the pewter miniatures. A very warm, happy flashback, albeit pretty nerdy on my part. On: Doesn't work on me. Unfortunately, it burned my skin. Very strong tobacco and cinnamon on me. On my husband, however (who bought the imp for himself anyway), it's absolutely edible. Still hints of flavoured pipe tobacco, but the spice and pumpkin are there. DryDown: Oh. My. God. He must wear this with his leather jacket. And then hope he's been taking his vitamins and is prepared to be utterly mauled. More pumpkin, more spice, tobacco is fading into a warm ... uh, excuse me, I must nibble on his arm now. Definite Keeper.
