mmm... thanks guys, I feel an order of imps ears coming on de sade, I like that on the name alone

my first wanderlust scent... unfortunately all I smell on me is jasmine, strong, headache inducing jasmine. I've sat with it for a couple of hours now, just because my first impression often changes from loathe it to love it (like it did with scarecrow) but nope, definately not for me. *looks at the growing swap pile* hmm.. must swear off florals

I love this oil... in the bottle it's all almond, like ammaretti biscuits, warm marzipan and sweet liqueurs... on it drys down to this incredible spicey, vanilla, sweet almond scent which is just gorgeous, very warm and comforting, just the occasional whiff of incense. on me it lasts very well indeed, four or five hours after application it's still strong.

bpal is a learning curve I think, aquatic/floral scents and I will never get along. out of the bottle, phewww that's strong, but first impressions can be wrong so I dabbed a drop on my wrist. on, wet, stronger and sweeter, I dont smell the ylang ylang, I smell a bathroom cleaning product. dry, much the same I'm afraid, just slightly fainter, I agree it has good staying power. the next morning, I applied this at 11pm last night, this morning I can still smell it, this stage I like, I can finally smell the ylang ylang (which I love, perhaps a single note?) and the watery scent has faded. not for me this one.

oooh.... I adore this oil, adore, need, crave, want, etc it smells fabulous out of the bottle, sweet, but with something which went straight to my brain and shouted "hey, recognize me?" I didn't then, but in the interests of science, lol, I quickly dabbed some on. wet, incredibly sweet honey, sweat, vanilla... this scent is my first girlfriend, we used to curl up in her room during lunch hour, the sunlight and dust sparkles, honeyed beeswax floor polish, sweat and something sweet and undefineable... oh yes. *edit* I've got it, she smoked, vanilla tobacco roll ups, reminds me of them too. dry, more or less the same on me, which is a very good thing indeed, had it morphed too much I might have had to have some sort of tantrum, lol. happily O lasts forever on me, I applied some last night and it's still going strong today, not just when I snif my wrists either, every now and then I just catch a drift of scent.

mmm...ok in the imp, it's gorgeous, flowery, ginger cream and wonderfull on me, huh? where did it go? I really can't smell a thing, nothing, and usually my body grabs hold of ginger scents and sends them screaming. I love it in the imp, but my chemistry obviously doesn't work with this one...

funny... as I was reading this the postman arrived, he smelt of chocolate! mmm... I opened the envelope carefully and took a snif, yep, pure, warm, sweet milk chocolate, but not cheap chocolate, the scent you get passing an outdoors hot chocolate stand in winter, or walking into a house with brownies baking.... I thought this might be too much of a good thing as a perfume, but gave it a tentative dab anyway.... wet, I dont love it on me, but as a scent it's wonderful, to make a really chocolate note must require skill, in heaped portions. dry, it's not changed at all, still thick and sweet, I love the smell, just not something I'd wear though

first impression: gah, get it off me, I smell like a cleaning product however, I took the first impression out back and hit it with a stick, waiting for it to dry the cleaning smell vanished and the whole thing got a slightly sweet/grassy note I hadn't got before... Now, dry, it smells a little like a shampoo I use, which is good, the other night while washing my hair I wondered if there was a perfume with that type of scent.... (the shampoo in question is charles worthington ~ dream hair) it just goes to show how wrong a first impression can be, this definately goes on my 5/10ml list....

Tombstone lasts forever on me, all day and well into the next day too... I applied a dab yesterday at 2pm and I'm still catching a sniff of it now, softer and warmer, but still definately there. ah, tombstone

well paint my wagon! I adore this scent, it goes on very vanilla (not a bad thing, I like vanilla) but then it did this weird morphing thing where the vanilla swirled and dried and the cedar crept in along with another note, something sharp, but with the vanilla it's marvellous... it's quite a masculine scnet, but I tend to go for a more masculine perfume anyhow so it's perfect for me, not boyish enough for mum to ask why I'm wearing aftershave, lol
