Yeah, that's why I was hoping for something with the lab's prices. There's just so many that I thought I'd check if there was a complete list somewhere before I went to the swap mods with my list of unpriced stuff.
-
Does anyone's spreadsheet include the lab prices? I've gone through and done a purge of my collection, and I have 141 bottles to sell. A lot of them aren't on the price list, though, and I don't want to violate price caps accidentally. Thank you!

I saw the thread title and went "Ooo, she has to try Bastet!" But it seems you've beat me to it. I also like Wings of Azrael, which I find very quiet and comforting.

ELF is the only one of those that I've tried, but I have a couple suggestions based on that- If you like lavender, The Emathides is the closest in feel that I've come across. I don't care for cedar so I almost skipped it, but I'm so glad I gave it a try! Gleaming eyes, screeching voices, glistening wings: black amber, black orchid, black currant, olive blossom, wood violet, lavender, blue musk, rose attar, and cedar. It's a couple years old, but there's a few people selling decants in the sales section. It's mellower than ELF, but it has the same sort of gloriousness. The next closest, for me, is Sol Invictus: A radiant blend of solar oils: golden amber, saffron, heliotrope, hibiscus, citron, frangipani, frankincense, tangerine, mock orange, and orange blossom. More orangey than ELF, but it's got that same radiant sunniness to it, especially while it's fresh (it ages into a beautiful deep amber, but loses the brightness). If you like lemon, Gold Phoenix is probably worth checking out, too.

Sed Non Satiata is devastatingly sexy, dark and rich without being 'shoppy. -
When your favorite GC blends are discontinued

I dug out an aged bottle of The Wild Men of Jezirat al Tennyn (over a year old), and with time, it has mellowed into a scent very, very similar to my beloved Khephra. Stockpile time! -
Twilight is a soft, dusky purple.

If someone had asked me what fluff smelled like, I'd have told them that it depends what the fluff is made of. But that was before I tried Boo. Now, I know that fluff itself has a scent, and this is it. Essence of fluff. The dry-down does, indeed, go more towards a sweet popcorn scent, like it's starting to morph into Midway. Very interesting, but I'll have to wear it more before I decide if I need more than the partial I have.

This smells pretty in the bottle, but not really exceptional. Sweet, with something else. Once it's applied, though, hello! Imagine the cake note from Huesos de Santo layered on top of Morocco, and you've got Feeding the Dead. Gourmand without really being foody, and simply fabulous. I think this is a multiple bottle scent. It's this good now and it can only improve with age.

Limited editions equivalents in the general catalog?
Ahania replied to Absinthe's topic in Recommendations
Feeding the Dead smells like a foodier version of Morocco. I haven't even tried some of my Weenies yet because I've just being going back to this bottle over and over. -
Pure cherry-almond. It starts off very strong, but fades down and some chocolate comes out. After that intial POW it reminds me a lot of cherry Tootsie pops. It doesn't last long at all, though.

It's fascinating reading all the different scent comparisons in this thread! To me, Tetramorph smelled exactly like Lyonesse plus cream. It didn't morph much with time, but I can't complain about that because hey, creamy Lyonesse! This is the first proto I've tested where I'm really hoping for a release, preferably this week.

Pure fresh apples! When it was wet it smelled like red apples, and once it dried it went more green apple. The drydown didn't really change the scent, it just got softer as it faded.

From application all the way through drydown, this smells like Christmas (though the drydown gets a little fruitier). Spices, but nothing in particular, some fruity sweetness but not particularly sweet, and no specific fruits. I would like this as a home scent in winter, but it's not something I'd wear.

I'm so glad Little Bird said it smelled aquatic to her, because I was reading all the posts and thinking I must be losing my mind. I, too, got a strong aquatic note from this. Wet, it's a vaguely green, slightly sweet aquatic. As it dries it loses the sweetness and gets more aquatic, and then the drydown was mostly green.

This smells very freaky in the bottle to me, too, but intriguing. Within a few seconds of putting it on, it bloomed into this delicious yellow cake batter scent. As it dried, it kept the yellow cake smell, but went from batter to cooked cake. Forget Lucky Charms, this is magically delicious.

The sea moss gives it an ocean-y feel to me, maybe a little saltiness.

The Deep Ones is from A Picnic in Arkham. My favorite aquatics are Szepasszony: A chilly, tempestuous whirlwind of clear, airy notes, slashing rain, and a thin undercurrent of white flowers and Lyonesse: Golden vanilla and gilded musk, stargazer lily, white sandalwood, grey amber, elemi, orris root, ambergris and sea moss.

Something smells like expensive French perfume....
Ahania replied to Alchemist's topic in Recommendations
I don't know what makes a perfume smell French, but Masquerade smells very sophisticated and classy to me. -
In the bottle: fruity! Definitely peach, but I'd say a fruit blend with peach as a dominant note, like a peach daquiri. On, new: Hello gardenias! I don't usually like gardenia scents at all, but the peach keeps it balanced and makes it quite lovely. There's something in there that's a little darker, keeping it grounded and making sure it doesn't get overly sweet. I'll edit in a few hours with my thoughts on the drydown!

Blood rising through an ocean wave. First off, I should admit that I don't like dragon's blood, and I'm picky about aquatics. I got this purely for the name, hoping against hope that it would smell good on me so that I could enjoy answering people when they asked what I was wearing. In the vial: Very salty aquatic with a metallic tang. On, fresh: Hmm, not too bad, actually, it's warmer and sweeter than I expected from smelling the vial. Dry: Salt salt salt! You know when you swim in the ocean and a wave breaks over your head and the water goes up your nose and cakes your throat? That's how this was. And I so wanted to love it...

I'd suggest Hope and Faith, and maybe Zarita.
