The mint adds an edge that turns it almost citrusy, especially on my skin. It reminds me a little of satsuma from The Body Shop, which is a sweet orange with floral notes, but Taurus is minty-er. Yes, I know there's no orange in Taurus, but I think the blend somehow fools my nose. I love this in the imp and wet- but it dries and disappears, sadly.

Gorgeous! The flowers are rounded out nicely by the spice, and it invokes New Orleans beautifully. Plus I like humid summer evenings (it gets pretty humid here in MD, but nothing like LA), and I feel like it hits that nail on the head. But wait...it's changing....no, it turns to soap within two minutes on my skin! Sad that I can't wear such a beautiful floral scent.

In the imp: Fresh roses with an undercurrent I can't quite...something fruity Wet: That mystery note comes out for a minute, then settles down Drydown: This is a nice round rose, maybe dried roses? It's a little spicy. Later: My skin absorbs this really, really quick. I wanted this because a friend gave out Tarot cards once that fit everyone's personality, and he gave me the Empress. I absorb this so fast, maybe I have a special connection with it.

I ordered two bottles of this because I'm a baseball fan who loves dogs and green florals. Good thing I liked it. In the bottle: Grass clippings Wet: Sweet and green, you can smell the milkiness of the dandelion Drydown: Soft, like walking through a meadow of tall grass and wildflowers Later: Nothin' but dandelion; doesn't last too long unfortunately I want to bury my head in this scent like a dog into the grass. It's cheery, and I can imagine I'll pull it out on dreary winter days when I need a reminder of summer.

Opium teaches only one thing, which is that aside from physical suffering, there is nothing real. A bitter, soft, fragile flower. In the bottle: Sweet and spicy. Very rich. Yum. Wet: A peppery spice (that's what it smells like to me) dominates, mellowed by a floral; tickles your nose a little Drydown: The floral notes bloom, but they're not sweet little things- this is a strong powdery flower, with a little green thrown in. The peppery note still adds some zing. Later: This has throw and lasting power- it's been a couple of hours and it's still there, but my skin tends not to absorb the spicy ones as quickly. The floral gets stronger and the spice fades though.

I hardly smell the carnation at all in this one, either in the imp or on me. It's all plum and musk, which makes for a very sophicated, sensual scent. It's kinda the adult version of Follow Me Boy, not in notes but in message- you know, come hither. Definitely a love potion. On a personal level, it smells amazing on me. I want to bathe in this stuff.

I think that, for a bride who likes light scents, Garden Path with Chickens would be a beautiful, innocent bridal scent. Especially for an outdoor wedding, or one with lots of flowers.

In the imp: Soft pine, like walking through a forest of mostly evergreens. Slightly sweet. Thinking I should have gotten a bottle of this. Wet: The birch and woodsy scents come out a little, but it's hard to smell anything Drydown: Pine is back with a vengence, stronger this time, with a throw. It tickles my nose. Something I would only wear outdoors, but would blend in nicely on a hike or at a christmas event. Later: Lasts a while, still pretty piney. Now I'm glad I didn't get a bottle because the pine is so strong, but I'll enjoy my decant.

Thank you thank you thank you shelldoo for letting me try this at the Pennsylvannia meet and sniff! This is a light scent, minty at first, mostly spearmint. As it dries down, the mint fades but remains a little, and the teak, moss, and sage come out on me. It's a light winter woods- I can hear the crisp of the snow and see the bare branches. It didn't last more than an hour on me, so I'm glad someone else got it, especially someone as great as shelldoo. note: I'm not an expert at scents like the previous reviewers, so this is just my impressions

I finally got my bottle that kinky eris was holding for me. Yay! This is a STRONG scent. In the bottle, and at every stage on my skin. I think it's almost too strong to wear on me. In the bottle: Cinnamon and flowers. Mostly cinnamon. Wet: Wow, the cinnamon just disappers. It's deeper, musker spices now. Almost no florals at all. Very incense-y- I'd prefer burning this to wearing it. Dry down: Weaker, but pretty much the same. This scent lasts a looooooong time- when I first tried it I could smell it seven hours later on the back of my hand! After washing!
