Spreadsheet update: Dragon*Con, Harvest Moon, Beanie's b-day scents, and the fabulous BPTP Halloweenies!

This is fantastic. I don't get a heavy pumpkin note at all, but rather a nice creamy espresso/coffee with a generous dusting of spices. This is what I wanted Miskatonic U to smell like, what I'd hoped for from last year's Pumpkin Patch blend. Medium throw (I can smell it on myself, but no one's said it's too strong), and so far a great wearlength (3 hours and counting). I can't wait to see how this one ages!

Nope, but I do separate my TAL, BPTP, BPAL, and other retailers into separate worksheets. Google Docs used to choke on the spreadsheet after a while, but OpenOffice has worked perfectly for me.

The link to my spreadsheet is in my sig. I always put the most recent updates at the bottom of the list, so you can just copy the new lines you need and add them to your own, presumably color-coded and note-filled, version of the spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet's been updated, now current through the 'weenies! Sorry for the delay; summer's busy AND we got two kittens. Please let me know if you think I missed an update.

This immediately reminded me of a cinnamon version of Chrysanthemum Moon. Absolutely gorgeous and intoxicating, a perfect blend of sweet cinnamon and smoky opium. I very much hope this version or something close to it is what's finally released!

It's beautiful, though not what I was expecting at all. I was hoping for something a little bit warmer, a little spicier, but the woods tame my beloved carnation down to a powdery afterthought, and I get zero clove and almost no patchouli. The bay is all upfront, the first thing I smell in the bottle. I wouldn't at any point guess that there's vanilla in this, even though I tend to amp it into something plastic and fake. I so wanted it to be a "fuzzier" version of Clemence (especially with the patchouli and carnation). Wearlength is decent, as is throw, but I don't see myself wearing it often.

I don't get my skin chemistry sometimes. Orange has been one of my favorite go-to scents this summer. So, I wanted dry oranges from Cykranoshian Catnip, but got sour roses.

Now with Panther and Lotus Moon, Metamorphosis, CT6, and BEES!

I tested this one with full expectation that I'd hate it. In the bottle, it's all wood, with a drizzle of butterscotch. I'm not optimistic, but I toss a dab on my wrist. I don't know if it's testament to Beth's magical blending powers, or if my skin chemistry absolutely adores this, but on my skin it's like a tamed Velvet Tiger. The wood note doesn't come through strongly, but serves to nicely moderate the other notes. I'm not amping butterscotch or caramel, both of which normally end up smelling like burnt butter on me. The apricot is at the forefront, just barely sweetened with a brown sugar glaze. It's gorgeous and sexy. I only put on a tiny bit, so the throw isn't anything to speak of yet, but it's lasted for three hours so far with no signs of stopping. Keeper!

In Reilig Oran (Gaiman event exclusive) has been added. ETA: Auto-complete decided to post "Dorian v3" instead of "Door" for the Neverwhere line. This has been fixed.

I wanted this to be a bedtime scent, like the previous poster suggested. I wanted it to be a chamomile-heavy blend with just a tinge of rich bourbon vanilla, and in the bottle it has promise. Unfortunately, I amp powdery vanilla and once it hits my skin, the chamomile disappears. The scent itself has no throw and little staying power.

All caught up! For those of you who noticed, Ol' Roswell Cemetery has been added back to the list. I swear it keeps disappearing on its own. >_> The only scent that hasn't been added yet is the Gaiman exclusive from tonight's reading. Once it's been named, I'll add it in.

Left His Nurse While In a Crowd

In the bottle, I get traces of chocolate, rich and creamy, interlaced with juicy ripe berries. Wet, this is tea, not with cream but with lemon, and LOTS of it. I have no idea where the lemon came from, and who ate all my chocolate? The musk roars in as the scent starts drying, and it mingles nicely with the mysterious lemon. A few hours later, I get...cotton? *reads scent description again* I WAS TOLD THERE WOULD BE CAKE. THE CAKE WAS A LIE. -
Anniversary and DarkDel/Trunk Show scents have been added, preemptively in some cases.
