The bourbon vanilla adds a really interesting note to this.. it keeps it all very.. creamy. I don't get that much actual pumpkin, though there is a hint of spiciness lurking around, and I attribute some of that to it. The ginger is nice, not at all overwhelming. I get no citrus from this at all, atleast not in a way that I can pick out anything specifically. There is maybe a touch of.. light sourness if I really try to sniff it out. This is the scent of a nice.. vanilla cream pumpkin pie, if such a thing exists.. if it doesn't I may have to expirement with recipes sometime soon Seriously, I wish I could eat something that smells like this right now! This is wonderful!

Caramel covered apples! Or maybe.. apple crisp pancakes with syrup. This doesn't so much smell like sugar as it does toffe.. or caramel or.. maple syrup. It has a touch of something else, I get apple out of it. It smells like a bakery.. a bakery where really yummy autumn type desserts are being made. I will keep my imp and enjoy it, though I don't think a bottle is required. This smells almost edible.

'07 Version This is.. really nice! This is the smell of drinking the most delicious, gourmet apple cider while sitting on the front porch of a log cabin, looking at all the different colored leaves in the autumn. It is warm and spicy (though I don't have any issues wearing it, which sometimes certain spicy-ness causes awful redness on my arms), homey, comforting. This is a lovely, lovely blend. I will enjoy wearing it.

'07 Version I went into this one having my.. reservations. It started out suprisingly sweet on me, which really intrigued me, I blame the geranium for the instant sweetness. It then gets depth.. and sadly is goes too deep for my nose. I could see people wanting to smell like this, as it isn't a bad scent, and I think it would wear really lovely in the colder weather, it feels.. removed.. detatched.. I don't know.. it maybe is just too dark for me, though again, it would be really lovely, especially if you were going to like.. a gallery opening or something a bit more.. poshy

This truly does smell like dusty, decaying wood.. not in a gross way though... more in a.. sad but beautiful way. You know like when you drive out to the middle of nowhere and you see that one just.. huge house that you know at one point in time was truly gorgeous and vibrant and.. now it is just crumbling and a shell.. I imagine houses like that smell like this blend. I think there is a dribble of cognac, just enough to tickle my nose.. This is truly one of the more evocative blends I have tried, though it doesn't make a great body scent for me, as I usually don't do woody type of blends, it does capture a feeling and an image for me very strongly.

My skin eats pumpkin notes as quickly as I eat pumpkin pies! Which isn't bad, because then I am left with this really.. sweetened floral that is lovely. I love the lab's carnation so that paired with the tonka and champa (I get very little tobacco - and thank god for that!) makes this just gorgeous. It is floral but a really sort of.. fresh, modern floral. I like it.. a lot..

This is.. slightly sour on me.. maybe it's the tar.. or the beer.. it also somehow reminds me of.. veggies.. yeah, not sure how but.. it is like a sour salad bar on my wrist.. My skin + Bonfire Night =

Is this really what the desert smells like? If so.. guess who is moving out west! I adore this blend. It is earthy and grounded without smelling like dirt or musk. It is sweet and light without being sickening and it has some power to it. It has a lil bit of most elements I want in a perfume.. all in one! I actually get little to no pumpkin in this one, though maybe that is what keeps it sort of.. earthy smelling to me. This is a little flower, though not cloying in the least.. it is just.. a wonderful scent all around, I have nothing bad to say.. at all.. perfect everyday scent. It's unusual enough to keep things interesting but still very wearable and more than pleasant to my nose... I wants more!

This is.. soft and sweet, powdery and incensey, it makes my nose tickle when I sniff it up close This would be a second cousin once removed of my dearly beloved Pink Moon (07.. not 05). It is slightly baby powderish, but it still has enough of the other notes that it is still a lovely, intriguing blend. This is really a wonderful smell... it's comforting and soft, not at all overpowering. I think it would be good to wear out to eat, as the scent of the perfume would not overwhelm the scent of the food. This would also make a nice scent maybe for a younger girl.. just because it is so.. pretty, not sexy just.. feminine and nice.

At first this was.. sickening.. sort of. It was way caramel and pumpkin mixed, which the combo didn't smell too great to me. After about 10 minutes the pomegranate wants to make itself known and it becomes just as strong as the caramel, with a slight pumpkiny background. I sadly never get white chocolate from this. Just an interesting... pomepumkmel. This is one the most unusual scents I have tried. This is what I wish it smelled like in my kitchen.. ya know.. if I could make really fancy desserts

This is a pretty floral. I can't really pick out any certain note.. this does wear very close, very.. second skinny.. this is the type of scent I enjoy, but sadly, my skin also enjoys eating. I have a lovely scent for all of about 10 minutes and then.. little left, a soft, flowery residue. If it were stronger on me, I would have to have more, as it is a very nice scent, it would make a great everyday scent for someone whose skin wouldn't devour it.

I find this blend to be just.. phenomenal. I don't like patchouli, vetiver or wood type scents... like 99% of the time. So seeing them all blending together in this.. I was scared. I love amber, but figured it would be overtaken by the other notes and.. I didn't really know what fig smelled like so.. I first put this on and.. yikes, there was so so much of the patchouli and vetiver and.. it was very, very blech. I wondered around the board for a bit.. posted a review of another scent and sniffed this one again to write this and great googly moogly... this is nice! I am guessing it is the fig (since that is the only note I was not already accustomed to) that brings this really lovely.. candied sweetness that just makes this such an interesting blend. I'd say for people who maybe are fans of patchouli and woods and vetiver, this would be heaven, since I usually really detest all three and find myself sniffing this constantly and enjoying it. The patchouli is a bit strong, that is the only thing stopping me from tracking down a big bottle, I will however, wear and love the imp.

This is sort of mannish.. I guess.. I liked it It had an underlying sweetness that stopped it from going super aftershavey for me. Sadly, my skin eats this in all of about a half hour and I am strangely left with a slightly sour smell on my wrist. No nice man, or leaves or sap.. just a really light sourness.

This is what the library smells like after they cleaned all the wood in the place. It really, really has a chemical cleaner type of scent to me. Not such a fan, though I know many people love it so, off it shall be sold or swapped!

I am a foody, I really enjoy smelling like things you can ingest, be them desserts or drinks or fruits or.. you get the idea.. This one however.. it smells like.. a pineapple upside down cake (cherries, pineapple, a touch of cake mix and butter) that was made incorrectly. Think like.. if your little sister tried her first time baking ever and maybe.. added too much butter and not enough something else. I really can't see myself wearing this one.. at all.. I suppose I should ammend my foody statement above to say that I really enjoy smelling like things you can ingest that have been made properly.

On me, this could be a plumeria single note scent. I truly get nothing else from this, though my boyfriend swears he can smell the champagne. It is a pretty enough scent, though it is a bit similar to the plumeria line of items from Bath and Body Works, which again, isn't bad, since that does smell good.. just not something I really go out of my way to smell like. This would be pretty to wear in the spring with like.. a new skirt and some cute shoes to maybe, walk around the park, in the sunshine.

I also get the caramel-ish smell of this, though I originally had said toffee.. incensed sugared toffee. The oil itself isn't really dark, deep and scary.. I could see maybe.. a gothic temple or church smelling this way though. This would be an evening scent for me, as I find to be maybe.. a deeper scent. It is alluring and mysterious and intriguing. This would be a perfect scent to wear on a first date, it is strong enough to be noticed and interesting enough to be remembered. The description sounds a bit scary but this is really a very lovely scent.

This is, to me, a perfect rose scent. It doesn't smell sorrowful.. or like decay.. to my nose, this is the most brilliant red rose blossom, full in bloom. The "dirt".. well.. it doesn't smell like dirt, to me, it just has a groundedness about it, it tempers the rose from becoming overwhelming. It smells like.. walking through a beautiful rose garden. This is truly a love for me, and I don't even like florals all that much!

This smells actually very good just as a scent... not a scent I would wear, but.. it smells nice. It's kind of.. imagine walking into a green housey type store that was maybe.. next door to a lumber yard. There is a.. not dirt smell so much as a.. freshly planted smell. There are touches of sweetness, though they are more subtle, and there is a tree-ish/woody smell. If you owned a log cabin, with a garden right outside the back door.. and a little forest not too far off.. I think that, must smell like Wolfsbane. It only brings up lovely images and again, it does smell good, as in, I would love to be around someone who smelled like this, I just don't want to smell like it myself..

I do so love the Lab's carnation so I had high hopes for this blend. It smells wonderful in the bottle.. it smells like a nice shade of pink... on the skin at first, gorgeousness abounds, this is truly a completely lovely floral... then.. sweet pea takes the water lily and the carnation hostage and just dominates this to a point that.. meh. The sweet pea turns very baby powdery on me very, very quickly. There is an underlying hint of a touch of spiciness, which I attribute to my beloved carnation, while the water lily has checked out for the day all together. It smells okay, like spicy baby powder, but it is not something I would really want to smell like.. often...

Upon trying to open Verdandi.. let's just say there was a mishap and..a decent portion got on my hand. So much that.. it gave me a bit of a headache, which really most scents can do if applied in excess so, that is not a knock on this particular scent so much as maybe.. a warning that my review might be a slight bit biased based on the sheer amount I was smelling Anywho, this starts out really nice, really appley, this is what I was hoping DKNY Red Delicious (which is nice but a bit.. meh for me) would be. Then.. the apple mostly goes away and I am left smelling of.. potpourri, nice potpourri but.. potpourri none the less. It's still a nice scent, a bit too.. traditional perfumey for me (I often find that tradition perfumes remind me a lot of.. tradition potpourris ) I wish the apple were a tad stronger overall.

I'm not gonna lie.. in the bottle, this one scared me. It smells sour.. sick. I put it on anyway. On first application, it retains it's sour quality for a brief moment. It does sweeten up quickly. It turns really lovely and floral for all of about... 15 minutes. Then I am left with.. sugared baby powder light. I have to really, really sniff to get anything off of this one. What I am left with smells nice enough, it is just too light, and not florally at all.. like.. cream and baby powder, but at a strength as if I have had it on all day, not just applied it an hour ago.

In the bottle this is.. sour and sharp. Not really something I am into normally but, in trying to go through my stash I have decided to give all scents a chance on the skin. First on.. this is soapy and clean.. it reminds me of some of my more well liked ozoney scents but.. a touch more manly. The soapiness, which I would have been happy wearing then turns dark. I see why some people say it smells like aftershave. (Though that isn't really a problem for me in some cases) I think if this had retained the bright soapy scent into the aftershavey phase, it would have been fine, not worn all the time but... enjoyed occasionally. Sadly, to my nose, this turns a bit.. murky smelling. This is the scent that say.. a metro ceo type of guy would wear when he was going to rough it in the woods for a weekend. Nothing wrong with it, just.. not for me. Glad I had a chance to sniff though!

I asked my boyfriend to pick a letter, and then I would pick an imp that started with that letter and that would be my smell for the day... he picked R so.. low and behold.. Roadhouse for me! This could almost be a dandelion single note scent on me, which isn't really a bad thing, as I am usually not too fond of some of the other notes listed in this scent. It is really warm and lovely, sweet and florally. It doesn't morph at all on me, it stays very true to a dandelion smell, it just gets weaker with wear. I'd say about two hours in most of the throw is gone, though it clings to the skin still. About six hours in, if I put my nose to the spots it was applied, I can still smell it, and again, it smells like straight up dandelion. It was terribly warm yesterday, when I had the scent on and.. I did get the image in my head, upon sniffing, of maybe having been in a car, driving in the middle of some desert type place, forever, with the air conditioner broken, and that heat and stickiness.. and then pulling up to a roadhouse or truck stop and finally getting out and catching a breeze of dandelions maybe growing in a field across the way. This is a very pretty scent and I would not mind keeping an imp of it around for when I want to smell bright and yellow and happy but it is not something that I would really need a bottle of, I wish it were a bit stronger overall as it is very nice.

Finny stole my review! I swear I had just told my boyfriend if an incensey/hippie shop was next door to a wonderful bakery and they both had their doors open, the smell you'd get standing in the middle would be the scent of All Souls 2007 - by the time I got on here to type that, the lovely Finny had already stated it! Review stealing aside - .. I love this scent, like.. I want to lick it off my hand. It is lovely and warm and sugary and.. this is like.. an ultimate comfort scent for me, and I usually do not like incensey blends (patchouli = on me). This doesn't even smell cakey to me so much as just.. sugary.. it's like the cake ingredients (flour and sugar and whatnot) sitting in the bowl waiting to be mixed together into the more.. buttery smelling batter. Think of your favorite hippy making you a wonderful cake, how.. warm and cozy and happy that would make you.. that is what All Souls makes me. I can haz more plz?
