This one is interesting. It's dark and mostly what I think is the cypress, and though the florals do come out a bit to soften and sweeten it up they stay dark and subtle. Very nice.
-
It starts off as moss and honeysuckle. Then the dreaded jasmine pulls out her stompy boots and goes to town, doing a Mexican hat dance all over everything. I really should have known better once I saw jasmine listed, but I decided to try it anyway. ADDED May 21: Oh, this is nice. It's mostly lovely moss with a hint of a sweet floral in the background with the aquatics. *huffs wrist* I absolutely love this, and need more.

This is mostly myrrh and amber with something a bit piney. I can't really smell any fig, but I still really like it. *g*
-
Sadly, the honey in this does something funny and smells very artificial and almost plastic-y. The peach makes a valiant attempt to beat the evil honey back down, but sadly is defeated. Off to the swaps.
-
This one is really nice. It starts out mostly dark berries and plum, but as it dries the woody notes start coming out and it gets a lot less foody. I really like it.
-
This is absolutely beautiful. It's sweet, warm amber and vanilla that just seems to get even more delicious smelling as it dries. *huffs wrist* I love it.
-
Wet this is strong musk, patch and pine. In fact, it's so strong it's giving me a headache. Off to the swaps.

Oh, this is nice. The cinnamon isn't hot; rather it smells like you've just pulled some actual cinnamon out of the spice cabinet, along with some cloves. It's very much a bakery-type scent, and I absolutely love it. *g*
-
Wet, it's mostly caramel, though as it dries the teak comes peeking out to give it a nice spicy, woody edge. I like it, but it's too much like Creepy for me to justify buying a bottle.
-
Wet, it starts out smelling of dry leather before the musk comes out swinging and tried to force the leather into submission. The leather refuses to go quietly, and the two duke it out for a minute before falling into a passionate clinch that ends with a really nice melding of musk and leather with the leather just barely coming out on top. In other words: I love it. *huffs wrist*

Pumpkin, honey and vanilla. And amazingly, the honey isn't going all nasty on me like it usually does. It's nice and sweet, and I can just make out a hint of cherry tobacco which is really lovely. And as it dries, it all melds together into something really, really nice and less pumpkiny than the other patches.

This is pretty much all pumpkin on me, though it is a warm, sunny pumpkin. -
The pumpkin shows up first, but then all the citrus puts on its stompy boots and walk all over the poor pumpkin leaving nothing but smashed bits behind. This one won't work on me at all, and I didn't really think it would.

This scent is dark and dry and smoky, and I absolutely love it. It's the kind of scent you wear when you put on your clunky boots and go into battle. Or when you just want people to instinctively know you're the boss. *g*

This is exactly what it says it is; dark, cold forests. It really does smell like you're riding through the woods at night with the wind whipping through your hair. This would be an excellent winter scent.

This is one of those scents where I'm writing the review with my wrist plastered to my nose. It's woody (but not any kind of evergreen wood) and spicy (but not too spicy) and the tobacco gives it a nice little kick of smoke and sweetness. There is no rose in this at all for me, which is a very good thing as rose tends to pull out its stompy boots and dance on all the other scents. This scent is pure heaven, and may be the first scent where I need multiple bottles.

Hmm, this one is nice and light. I can definitely smell the moss, bark and leaves with just a hint in the background that might be the apples lending it a soft sweetness. It's like sitting under a tree in fall and just watching the leaves falling.
-
Yep, that's dirt all right. It's sort of a dry, dusty potting soil smell, which would be great if I wanted to smell like dirt. Sadly, I don't.

Amazingly, I can't smell any rose in this at all, which makes me a very happy camper. *g* It's mostly a sweet, berry-like pumpkin with a hint of what may be the carnation. So long as the rose doesn't try to put on its stompy boots later, this one should be quite nice.

Wet this is all pumpkin and myrrh. As it dries, the pumpkin fades, leaving me with mostly myrrh with a kind of dry pumpkin edge. It's not bad, but I don't love it either.

Wet, this is strawberry gum. It mellows a bit as it dries, but it pretty well stays fruity gum on me. Sadly, this one just won't work.
-
Wet, it smells mostly of pumpkin. As it dries, the pumpkin takes a backseat, content to meld with the leather and the musk. It's mildly sweet, spicy and the leather makes it just a bit naughty. This may turn out to be my fall scent of choice.

Bay rum, bourbon vanilla, galangal, hyssop, High John the Conqueror root, tobacco, life everlasting, and brimstone. This is absolutely amazing. I don't get any bay rum at all (which is a good thing *g*), just something smoky, woodsy and spicy. It smells almost as if you've been running through the dark woods and you've just collapsed exhausted in a clearing when you see a glowing-eyed hellhound come stalking out of the fog and smoke. It is fabulous, and I love it. *g*

This was a frimp from the lab, and I'm happy since I wouldn't have bought this one on my own. It's a nice, warm coconut scent without smelling like suntan lotion, which is rare. It's really very nice, and would make a good, light summer scent.

In the bottle, this one is mostly fruity booze. On my skin, however, the booze takes a backseat to the apricot which is juicy and sweet and absolutely delicious smelling. I've been looking for some more fruity scents, and this one definitely fits the bill.
