Got this as an imp at Dragon*Con. Who doesn't want to smell like Bowie? Wet/in bottle: Lilac and musk. Drydown: Becomes muskier and a bit leathery over time, but with the same flowery sweetness. Dry: A very musky leather with a bit of spice. Damn. DAMN! This is excellent. A good cologne for men, but this would also smell great on a woman. Highly recommended for anyone/everyone! It's definitely on my bottle list!

Got this as a bottle on ebay. I love Cathedral, so another incense blend sounded intriguing. Wet/in bottle: rich incense, almost like Cathedral. Drydown: Incense and pine resin(?! was not expecting that, but it's nifty). Dry: A rich, sweeter incense, with hints of sweet pine. Awesome scent! The sweetness isn't overwhelming, but it is noticable and blends the incense and pine notes together. Imagine a fresh cut tree in the middle of a Catholic Mass, and this is the scent. Wonderful!

Got this as a bottle on ebay. All for vetiver, and it was on the cheap, so why not? Wet/in bottle: Vetiver and dried plants. Drydown: Vetiver fading to dragon's blood. Dry: Powdery dragon's blood. Very straightforward in terms of description, but the fade to powdery was a little sad. Still a nice scent for fans of anything earthy, so give it a shot!

Got a bottle of this on a recommendation. I won't say no to incense, so bring it on. Wet/in bottle: Lemony and sharp ozone with a bit of woods and incense. Drydown: The strong lemon/ozone dies down fast to a subtle incense. Dry: Dark incense with a low throw. A few hints of ozone. I personally like this one, particularly with a thrity-minute hike to work in the morning - lets the lemon fade into the more complex and intended description. Could work on either men or women.

Got this as an imp at Dragon*Con. Figured this one would be on the feminine side, but I'll try anything. Wet/in bottle: Lavender. Straight lavender. Drydown: Lavender and wisteria, with a few hints of light musk. Dry: Lavender and powdery, soapy flowers. It's a lavender perfume, something I imagine on a very sophisticated lady or a woman very much into flowery scents. Doesn't work for me, but I know a few girls I could give this to.

Tried this at Dragon*Con, unable to recall what was in it but knowing that I wanted to try it. Wet/in bottle: Leather and vetiver. Drydown: Still leather and vetiver, but with something very clean and a bit citrusy without being powdery. Dry: Very clean leather and vetiver, with a bit of citrusy cologne. Low throw. A perfect cologne and a must-buy! Subtle, earthy, and clean. Excellent!

Tried this at Dragon*Con per recommendation "to attract the females". I wouldn't have been so clinical, but I can't really say no to that, now can I? Wet/in bottle: Musky cologne with patchouli. Drydown: Headshop patchouli with a bit of citrus and flowery scents. Dry: The headshop patchouli gets stronger as the lighter notes fade, backed by musk and some woods. Either patchouli is a death note on me, or I have some psychological aversion to anything remotely close to smelling like a headshop - I was not a fan. It's a nice complex scent with the lighter notes, and it is an excellent cologne for men (it should, indeed, "attract the females"), but I'm not rushing for a bottle any time soon.

Tried this one at Dragon*Con. Anything with incense is good, so I figured I might as well. Wet/in bottle: Sweet woods with a bit of incense, rich and dark. Drydown: A good whiskey tobacco with incense, very mellow and sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Dry: Whiskey tobacco goes to caramel. Still more mellow incense, and not as much sweetness. This works well for men - rich, sweet, and intriguing without being overbearing. It has a bit of throw, so I wouldn't recommend slathering, but it's very pleasant, warm, and masculine. A good bottle if you like a classy touch.

Tried this at Dragon*Con (among about twenty others!). I liked Cthulhu, so I figured this was worth comparing. In bottle/wet: Salty and musky, a good aquatic scent. Drydown: The salt mellows down and becomes musky and green. Dry: Softer salt, green plants, and a mellow musk. This is significantly less harsh than Cthulhu and remarkably pleasant. This replaces my "must-buy aquatic" and is worth a bottle for anyone into salty scents. Would be excellent on a guy who likes Irish Spring but wants something a bit more calm.

Got this in a frimp at Dragon*Con. This oil is blood red, so naturally I was intrigued to see it in my purchase bag. In bottle/wet: A rich woodsy scent. Very masculine. Drydown: Cedar, sandalwood, and spiciness, with a hint of floral scent. Dry: Rich woods, very earthy and spicy. Perfect for guys, might also smell good on a woman. Definitely worth a bottle on the right guy.

Picked this one up at Dragon*Con (thanks again, Beth!). It fits my costume well (Malzahar, League of Legends), and I liked it quite a bit. Wet/in-bottle: A bit sharp, sweet, almost spicy. Drydown: A sharp woodsy scent. There may be a few moments of high-throw, sharp, sweet smell, but that fades. Dry: Soft charred woods, with a bit of sweetness. Like a warm campfire, but without the harsh smokiness. n__n Awesome scent - works great for me, should also work well for women. Barring a few moments of high throw, this scent becomes very mellow and warm. Glad I have a bottle!

Teakwood, oak, black vanilla, and tobacco. Got this as an imp off ebay. In bottle: Syrupy sweet woods. Wet: Dark vanilla, almost caramel. Drydown: More woods, still very sweet. Dry: Rich sweet woods with a bit of tobacco. Not the manliest scent, but something a guy can pull off if it sits for a while. Would work with anyone, really. Not going to pick up a bottle, but it's a good scent. -
Got this as an imp off ebay. In bottle: sweet incense. Wet: VERY sweet incense, almost fruity/floral. Dry: Sweet lemon citrus, almost like citronella. I heard "incense" and got excited, so now I'm torn. This one's up for trades, as it's just not for me.

Got this as an imp off ebay. In bottle: Vetiver. Already excited! Wet: More vetiver, with hints of cedar. Drydown/Dry: The vetiver vanishes to cedar and sandalwood - think Azathoth, but not as orange/citrusy. This is worth a bottle if you like woodsy colognes.

Got this as an imp off ebay. In bottle, wet, drydown, dry - cologne. Clean, resinous cologne. This is exactly what I think of when the word "cologne" comes to mind. It's woody incense with a hint of spice. Next paycheck, I'm getting a bottle. This is excellent!
