Red rose, oud, plum, bergamot, and red sandalwood. In the imp this is rose with bergamot. Pretty, with a bite. Wet, it's all sandalwood and the thorny green stem of a rose. My skin tends turn sandalwood into dusty incense and stifle everything with it. Uh oh. As it dries down the sandalwood disappears for a while (that's a first!) and the rose peeks out - behind the plum. The combination reminds me of Persephone for a spell. Later it's creamy, candied purple rose petals with a hint of warm, dry incense smoke. Decent throw. I may get a bottle of this.

Imp: Sweet, boozy berries with a hint of green. On: It probably my body chemistry today, but I'm getting nothing really foody from this at all. It's very bright! Fizzy, powdery sweet plum that brings to mind these, but juicier. As it dries down the boozy note tries to peek in, the fizz fades, and overall the scent quiets a little. This is very pretty, but I'm keen to try it again in a week or so before I make any decisions.
