Frankincense, black copal, and myrrh veiled in night-blooming jasmine, black rose, smoky patchouli leaf, and a dribble of red wine. Oh. My. Gosh. I just want to say this smells like smoky autumnal goodness, I cannot get enough of this scent! I will try my very best to explain the scent, I am terrible at describing scents. It reminds me of samhain in the feeling it evokes, it's very resiny and dark....the florals don't jump out at me but they are present. This scent pairs very well with Silky Bat hair gloss! I was so sad when this arrived because it spilled all over the box! I lost a good 1/5 of the bottle but I think it's probably a tricky thing to ship. It still makes me sad that so much of the precious bath oil was lost! I've never used the BPTP bath oil before and I must say it's so divine, it soaks into the skin well, scents the skin lightly, and you don't need to use too much of it. Really contemplating buying a backup bottle!

I need a backup bottle of this, this scent is perfect autumn in a bottle. This plays so nicely on my skin! This is crisp air, big multicolored trees, and just a touch of sweetness. I do not get a maple syrup smell from this, just the slight naturally sweet tinge. I also don't get any green scent from this, it is all dry crunchy leaves and beautiful woods. This truly brought me back to walking in North Carolina in October. This has good throw and I am absolutely in awe at how Beth managed to capture this scent. I need more so I can wear this all the time.

I. Love. Phasmophobia. I had put this on the first time while watching the corpse bride and I realize that I now associate this with Emily's bouquet. This reminds me of flowers with a chilling almost dusty dead quality. It's so hard to pin down. This starts off very sharp and fresh, I was disappointed with the scent at first because I wasn't getting that eerie quality, yet once this starts drying it is perfectly lovely and spooky. I would not reccommend if you don't like white florals, though...this still has a very distinct white floral scent to it. This is not a heavy perfume, it's very light and pretty and haunting all at the same time. This is one of my new favorites

I love your review! This is my kind of rose for sure

Call me crazy, but I swear I smell something along the veins of aged opium in here! There's something darker in the background of the lily floral! I love this because it's floral, doesn't go soapy on me, and still has a darkness to it. This reminds me of the good girl with a secret "dark" side. I might need to upgrade to a big bottle of this sometime in the near future, this also makes me want to try more rappaccini's garden scents. Very lovely and very well done, Beth!

I tried the imp of this and this is the first BPAL scent I have ever had to wash off. This made me nauseated, I literally could not stand the scent. I think I amp the blood and quite frankly it just reminded me of the scent of shark week blood (you know that old dead blood smell.....)....it was so gross. It also smelled like Kahlua to me, which I absolutely despise. I think the alcohol, chocolate, and blood was just not a winner for me....it does smell very much like chocolate, though and I think Beth's chocolate scent might be a winner in a different combination! Sorry for the super negative review, but I did not like this.

This is my first hair gloss and it is fantastic! Two pumps in my long hair before drying makes it so shiny and so soft. The patchouli is wonderful, I'm not getting too much sweet from this but it's not a very dark patchouli. It's perfect autumnal perfection. I'm really thinking of another bottle, I'll be using the hair glosses from now on for sure.

I suppose I really amp the honey and milk notes because the florals are so quiet in the background on me! I can hardly smell this in the bottle, however, on the skin this has a good throw! This is pretty much calming milk and honey with slight florals, this is so lovely and delicate that I might need a bottle come spring time (not an autumn/winter scent for me)

This smells very perfumey but also exotic; on the skin it smells thick and heady with a nice blend of musk, sweetness, and floral. This is not an everyday scent, this is a dinner date scent to me. This scent doesn't "wow" me but it's nice because it has a good presence and I like the plum within it. This absolutely reminds me of a princess in an exotic land.

Rose amber, calla lily, night-blooming jasmine, water lily, and white rose. This is way too floral for my tastes, it's pretty much straight lily to my nose, I can't detect any other scent I like it as a scent and I wanted to try out something heavily floral for a change but this is a little too floral.

This baby is an absolute dream; As the other reviewers basically have said this is a spicier, creamier snake oil with sweet pumpkin. This, to me, would be more of a day appropriate snake oil because I can't really wear my regular snake oil to work without my colleagues telling me that I smell like a head shop....it's just a little too sexy. Somehow this makes you smell edible but in a much more foody less pure spice kind of a way. I hope that made sense. I love this, I love this and I want another bottle! Ugh! I have a feeling this will get a lot of uses this fall and beyond!

Lucy's kiss can really be described as a vintage scent. This reminds me of dried roses in an old home, it's a gorgeous scent. There's seething faintly sweet about it, overall it's just a nostalgic scent. I'm considering a big bottle of this

This seriously is so perfect! This smells like a chai tea latte with pumpkin and something a little richer underneath. I am so happy with this scent, it's warm and yummy. I'm seriously so happy that my order came in today, I had to put my dog to sleep today (11 years old) and I was feeling so down. Thank you Beth for creating a beautiful comforting fall scent!

I am almost out of my precious imp of Morocco! I wore this the other day and I was in the car with my dad, he said "damn Fran! You smell amazing!" and then we had a conversation about BPAL....I never thought this would happen. I amp the sweetness in Morocco, it smells so much like sugar on me with just a hint of spice, I love it so much.

One word: WORKS Every time I wear this scent I get guys drooling on me, occasionally I let them have a conversation with me *heartbreaker*

I love the vampire bride! This is a scent I wear when i'm feeling pensive or lonely, it's a very strange scent but I adore it. This starts out very citrus on me and has a sharp presence on my skin. I am not great with describing scent but this stays sharp and has kind of an herbal quality to it. At the end the dust note really kicks in, this gets DRY, like....to the point where my throat gets dry. It reminds me of hungry vampires toward the end. This is a chilling beautiful scent, great job Beth and co.!

I have the 2012 bottle of samhain, this is by far my favorite fall scent! Everyone asks what i'm wearing that smells so good! I had one of my colleagues try to rub this off of my wrists onto herself today. This is a tricky one, though...it starts out very cough syrup on me and then starts to blend into a sweeter more spicy blend. As this ages I can smell the patchouli more as it wears for several hours, it's a wonderful moment when that richess comes through. Some days this turns a little bit baby powder towards the end but not as much as it used to when it was fresh. This makes my day and apparently everyone around me likes it as well!
