Maenad in vial: strawberry and orange blossom wet: the orange blossom is coming on strong dry: as it dries, it mellows out and becomes a wonderful blend of sweet berries, orange blossom, and a hint of carnation verdict: need a big bottle!

Lilith in vial: sweet red wine wet: wine and myrrh dry: lovely blend of myrrh, musk, and rose, with a hint of wine...lasts about 3 hours verdict: fades too fast for me, unfortunately

Haunted in vial: strong amber wet: amber plus a faint hint of musk, slightly soapy dry: still slightly soapy and now powdery, too verdict: not for me...off to swaps

Embalming Fluid in vial: green tea and lemon wet: same dry: strong musk and green tea verdict: a nice, refreshing scent, but not one that I will wear often

The Rat King in bottle: dusty wood wet: same dry: dusty musk (or musky dust?) plus something that smells almost floral verdict: after some deliberation, I find this is growing on me...I'm really glad I ordered it

Zephyr in vial: I can barely smell anything...this smells very faintly of musk wet: the same...hardly any scent at all dry: ok, now I smell the lemon, vanilla and musk verdict: a nice blend, but I don't need a big bottle

Torture King in bottle: frankincense, leather, and musk wet: the clove starts to appear...this seems very masculine to me dry: spicy, but a bit on the masculine side verdict: I think this will smell great on my DH

Inferno freebie from the lab in vial: ALMOND with a touch of cinnamon wet: almost instantly the cinnamon (sweet cinnamon, like red hots candy) takes center stage dry: fades to a softer, less sweet cinnamon...gone in 3 hours verdict: nice, but I wish it lasted longer...I will use the imp, but don't need a big bottle

Imp in vial: sweet peach and amber wet: the musk begins to make an appearance dry: peach fades away...mostly left with a very powdery amber verdict: too powdery for me...off to swaps

Absinthe received in a swap in vial: mint and anise wet: same dry: very refreshing, but fades too quickly (in less than 2 hours) verdict: I will keep the imp, but don't need a big bottle

All Saints' 2005 in bottle: rose wet: rose dry: aaah....here we go...lovely, incensy, resiny rose verdict:

Freak Show in bottle: fig and cocoa...like a very decadent truffle wet: the lemon appears...a very odd (but not in a bad way) combination of lemon, cocoa, and fig dry: completely different...lemon, cocoa, and fig have faded away and now the vanilla, honey, and musk have taken over (with an emphasis on the musk)...fades in 3 hours verdict: nice, but I'm a bit disappointed with the drydown and the disappearance of the fig, cocoa, and lemon and the no-show pomegranate...I will keep some of this bottle but will probably also imp some out for swapping
