Sin in vial: very faint scent of sandalwood and cinnamon wet: still very faint dry: a lot stronger now...amber and cinnamon, with and underlying chemical scent that reminds me a lot of insect repellant verdict:not for me...I think I will pass this along to someone who may get better use from it

Hell's Belle Sweet, smoky and sensually wicked. A thick, steamy scent, truly sinister in its voluptuous sexuality. The perfume of a demon's favored consort, or of the devil herself. Iambe in vial: rose and something else that is sickly sweet and slightly stinky wet: rose and strong gardenia dry: the amber and patchouli take over...lasts over 4 hours verdict: an ok blend, but not big bottle worthy

Laudanum freebie from the lab in vial: nutmeg and sassafras wet: spicy root beer dry: dusty root beer without the sweetness...fades in less than 2 hours verdict: nice, but fades too quickly...I will use the imp but I don't need a big bottle

Faustus freebie from the lab in vial: spicy violet...not too bad as far as violets go wet: powdery violet dry: powdery violet verdict: not for me...off to swaps

Dorian in vial: musk and lemon wet: musk and lemony sweet tea dry: sweet musky vanilla...lasts about 4 hours verdict: <---- that means I need a big bottle

Peitho in vial: smoky(?) jasmine wet: jasmine, lily, and clove (maybe clove was the smokiness I was smelling?) dry: a slightly powdery (but not too powdery) blend of sandalwood, jasmine, and lily verdict: nice, but I don't need a big bottle

Nuit in vial: jasmine and rose wet: same dry: a nice blend of musk, rose, and jasmine verdict: nice, but not overwhelmingly exciting...I will use up the imp but don't need a big bottle

Pannychis not much to say here... in vial: jasmine wet: jasmine dry: jasmine verdict: too much jasmine...off to swaps

Cordelia received in a swap in vial: lilac, green tea, and musk wet: lemon starts to appear dry: a nice, light (too light) scent...fades in less than 2 hours verdict: I will use the imp, but don't need a big bottle

Hellfire in vial: smells very sweet, almost like honey wet: less sweet...tobacco and musk dry: tobacco, musk, and incense...and every once in a while I smell a faint hint of honey...lasts 5 hours verdict: yum...must buy big bottle!

Sudha Segara in vial: a faint hint of ginger wet: a bit stronger ginger scent dry: gone...fades in less than 2 hours verdict: I will use the imp but won't be buying a larger bottle

Aizen-Myoo in vial: yuzu with a hint of cherry blossom wet: nice blend of yuzu and cherry blossom dry: a lovely fruity-floral blend...lasts about 5 hours verdict: I think this may have to go on my big bottle wishlist

Nocturne freebie from the Lab in vial: sweet violets wet: violets quickly turning to powder dry: powdery violets with a hint of lilac, which almost (but not quite) makes the scent bearable...fades after 2.5 hours verdict: another violet scent not for me...off to swaps

Dance of Death A gloriously elegant representation of Lady Death. Dry, bone-white orris, black musk, serpentine patchouli and our murkiest myrrh. in vial: spicy soap (often orris=soapy to me)...my husband says it smells like decaying meat (that may be the black musk speaking to him?) wet: soap dry: soap verdict: I seem to have a problem with orris...off to swaps

Dragon's Bone in vial: soapy (I think this must be the orris) dragon's blood wet: soapy dragon's blood with a hint of sandalwood dry: soapy dragon's blood verdict: I don't think orris plays well with my skin chemistry...I was going to swap this one, but my husband smelled it in the imp and decided he'd like to try it...I hope it smells better on him...I will update this review with his results

Viola in vial: faint rose and lily wet: strong rose with a hint of myrrh dry: a lovely blend, but fades in less than 2 hours verdict: lack of staying power will prevent me from buying a big bottle, but I will use the imp

Entropy received in a swap in vial: patchouli, civet, and rose wet: mostly patchouli and civet...not a pleasant scent dry: this is definitely a dirty scent (but not nice earthy dirt like Zombi)...I feel kind of stinky wearing this and it seems to be bringing on a headache...lasts forever (I could still smell it over 12 hours later when I was finally able to scrub off the last of it...or cover it up with something else!) verdict: not for me...off to swaps!

Titus Andronicus in vial: bergamot wet: orange-flavored baby aspirin dry: a nice, unisex blend of musk, amber, frankincense, and sandalwood...fades after 4 hours verdict: I don't need a big bottle, but will definitely use the imp...maybe I'll let my husband try it

Queen Gertrude in vial: why do I always smell bananas in violet blends? wet: sweet violet dry: powdery violets verdict: not for me...off to swaps

Medea in vial: spicy myrrh wet: orchid and myrrh dry: a lot of orchid verdict: this is ok, but I don't need a big bottle

Seraglio in vial: orange and neroli wet: sandalwood and orange dry: nice blend of sandalwood and orange (but why do all the other notes elude me?)...fades in less than two hours verdict: lack of staying power means I don't need a big bottle

Vixen in vial: orange blossom wet: orange blossom with a hint of patchouli dry: patchouli overload verdict: not for me...I think I will pass this on to someone who may get better use out of it

Kabuki received in a swap in vial: cherry cough syrup wet: the cherries are toning down a bit and the anise starts to appear dry: cherries and anise have both disappeared and all I am left with is a powdery musk verdict: I expected this to smell similar to Kyoto (which was mostly anise on me), but it is very different...and not for me...off to swaps

Masquerade in vial: orange blossom wet: patchouli and orange blossom dry: a nice blend of patchouli and orange blossom...fades after 3 hours verdict: I wish it lasted longer...I will use the imp but I don't need a big bottle
