Cinnamon, velviter, and dragon's blood...*shiver* I'm in love with it already! In The Bottle: Very cinnamon smelling. Whenever there is cinnamon in something, I always tend to smell it above anything else. On Me: The dragon's blood is really shining through, with a hint of cinnamon in the background. Its sassy and sweet, tart and tangy, lickable even. I keep worrying that its going to turn foul on me, it has that beginning smell at first, the smell that always seems to change to soiled diapers, but it hasn't at all. Instead its mellowed out to a cinnamon scent that is just a tiny bit dusty in the background. In fact, its fading pretty fast, leaving only the scent of cinnamon. I LOVE cinnamon. I like it enough to use the imp. Time will tell if I get a bigger bottle or not.

In the Bottle: A rather sweet, incensy smell that I can't quite place. Hmm... On Me: There is a sweet floral and a tangy olive scent behind it. Oh wow, this is very, very nice. There is almost a fruity blend, but I couldn't tell you what it is. Its almost like grapes, but sweeter, like wine without the booze. This is gorgeous! I just can't stop smelling my wrist! ARGH, WHAT IS IT???? Its like a thick, sweet juice, like the sun filtered through trees and squeezed into a bottle. I don't know what it is, all I know is that it is simply breath taking! I think this one has become my new favorite scent! A gallon of this one, after I completely bathe myself in this one, that is!

A phenomenally powerful attractant. Sexual and commanding in the extreme. In the Bottle: Come to Me is a rather soapy light floral. Hmmm...waxflower maybe? On Me: Most definately waxflower, I love that smell. You just can't deny that scent! When I used to work for a florist there are two "filler" flowers that you work with more often than not, baby's breath and waxflower. The stem of the waxflower is stronger, so you usually use that for smaller baskets or ceramics because you can wedge it into the florist's foam of tighter places, but you don't just use it there. The main reason for using it is when you have a large peice requiring a lot of filler. Large amounts of baby's breath smells like a dirty diaper, so you need to use something that smells pleasant. A waxflower is a small grouping of light purple flowers that appear waxy, especially the stem. If the stem is cut, it will soap up, giving off this scent. Its a very light, delicate scent that I used much more often than any other filler, if I could get away with it. Its just easier to work with. As for the oil, yeah, I'm gonna have to bathe in it. A big bottle for me when I'm done with the imp.

Hmmm...after watching a documentary last night about women that used oleander to poison their husbands, this is exactly what I was looking for *dripping with sarcasm*. Teehee. In the Bottle: Sweet and spicy, creamy and seductive. *shiver* On Me: A light floral, magnolias, with a spicy background, maybe a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. This is extremely seductive. This is a librarian by day and a stripper by night. This is the perfect scent for the innocent maiden becoming the sexy temptress once the moon comes up. This is Anne Rice's Beauty. This is a gallon bottle as soon as I'm done bathing in the imp.

I love sweet pea. My parents got me a huge basket from BB&B with nothing but sweet pea products in it last Christmas. The only problem with single scents is that...well...its a single scent. No depth, no dimension, no complexety. No fun. Hopefully this will be what I am looking for in a complex sweet pea scent. In the Bottle: A slightly soapy sweet pea, with a hint of something a bit musky behind it. On Me: A sweet fragrance, even with the myrrh behind it, which usually makes things smell kinda nasty. The myrrh is coming through a lot more than the sweet pea all of a sudden, so the scent is rather bitter on the wrist, but in the air its still very sweet and innocent with the sweet pea floating in front of my nose. I'm not sure what to make of this one. I really wanted more sweet pea, less myrrh, but instead I got a kind of split fragrance. I think I may have to wear it a little while longer to see if I want to keep it or not. Myrrh smells so bitter on me, but hopefully it will calm down a little. I really want to love this oil, but alas, I think that the bitterness is totally turning me off. I'll swap this one to someone that really loves myrrh.

In the Bottle: Violets and Lavender, very dark and sinister. On Me: Very herbal and dark, a scent of mystery and evil. Of unspeakable acts done under the cover of night deep in the forest's protective veil. Acts done by the elite, the privledged, a charming man prone to murder. *chills up spine* OoOoooh! Oh how I am in love with this one! Its beautiful! I'll get a big bottle of this one when the imp is up, and I'll try to elaborate on the story unfolding in my head later!

Uhoh...lemon verbena. *le sigh* Well, it has tea in it, and that could be stronger. Couldn't it? In the Bottle: Very strong lemons. This isn't boding well. On Me: Yup, just as I suspected. Lemon Jolly Ranchers/Pledge. Ew. I hate it when the complexety of a great sounding oil is totally taken over by one's body chemistry. It totally sucks. But wait...that faded awfully fast. I'm still left with quite an overwhelming lemon scent, but there is a hint of tea in there and perhaps some neroli. Its good to know that it has a little more complexity than I had orginally thought, but its still too faint behind the sea of lemon for me to like. I'll swap this one.

I love the description of Wicked! I'm literally bouncing in my chair about it! In the Bottle: Delicious jasmine. Lovely jasmine. On Me: A slight musk scent with the jasmine, with a tad of rose in the background. A very haughty and regal scent, a scent that makes you want to turn up your nose and look down on the rest of the world as subjects to your every whim. Its very powerful, so I might want to put on a little less next time. Regardless, I love the scent, and plan on getting a big bottle of it soon.

Oooh, I've been looking forward to trying this one for some time, and it was a generous freebie in my last order. Beth rocks. In the Bottle: Very spicey with a hint of the carnation in the background. Yum! On Me: Thick spices through a haze of musk on my wrist, sweet carnation wafting up otherwise. This is gorgeous, very much the spicy smell of outdoor bazaars with products ranging from foodstuffs to silk, to all kinds of items, as the hot desert sun warms you through your light folds of cloth. I really love scents like this, it makes me feel more exotic as I wear them. This will be a bigger bottle in the future!

I can remember a time when I wasn't so excited about trying a rose scent. I guess the commercialized version of the smell of a Rose never came close to the real thing. Beth sure has spoiled me. In the Bottle: This is a true rose scent, a thick red rose. The darkest of reds, near black in color, with a brilliant yellow center, and thousands of petals. The second that you near it, and the petals open, you can hear a chorus of angelic voices and....oops. Sorry about that. It seems that I was thinking about the Dark Tower series again. My bad. *snicker* On Me: There's something else in here besides rose! Its a little chilly and a little sweeter, though it could just be a lavender rose in with the red rose. The differences in the scents of the roses can make a very interesting contrast. Wow, this is really strong, much stronger than I would have thought. I don't really have to put it anywhere else except on my wrists for me to smell like roses. I mean, I already smell like I've bathed in it, and I only put three drops on my wrist. But I'm not complaining! This is Red Roses against pale white skin, totally personifying the sister to Snow White. Complete beauty. I'm in love!!

I love grapefruit, and I love King of Diamonds, so I'm hoping that I like this one too! In the Bottle: Thick orchids and a hint of citrus that must be the grapefruit. This one is really strong! On Me: Very grapefruit with just a hint of the orchid scent in the background. This is a very fresh, spring scent that's very feminine. Its pretty strong, but it just works so well with this scent. This is extremely regal without being too stuck up. I love this one too!

I think that this one was the one that I was looking forward to trying the most. In the Bottle: A crisp, white floral blend that is very sweet. I like! On Me: Wow...this has like a creamy coconut scent to it, nothing like in the bottle. Its the smell of homemade ice cream from snow, when you take white, pure snow and add vanilla and cream to it to get ice cream. I remember doing that as a child when I would visit my family in West Virgina. I had a habit of getting large pots as soon as it was light outside after the first fall of snow. My Aunt lived on the top of a mountain, so I always had to trudge through the snow in the Wintertime. I'd go and find a nice, thick patch of white snow and I would put it into the pot, shoving small handfuls into my mouth as I did so. I loved snow then. I loved the taste of it, the crunch of it as you walked through it (which gives me terrible goosebumps now), and the cold feeling through my mittens. Then, after I had as much as I could carry in the pot, I would go stomping up the steps to the house with my pot in hand, into the kitchen, where my Aunt Opal would make homemade ice cream. I'd eat it, but I always liked the taste of the fresh snow much better. I never told her that, of course. I'm glad I got this bottle, though I wasn't expecting this scent at all! I'm gonna slather now and go bask in the cold of my memory, cause it certainly isn't that cold here.

In the Bottle: Warm, hot gingerbread cookies, the thick and chewy kind with lots of nutmeg! On Me: Mmmm...still that wonderful gingerbread smell with lots of nutmeg, vanilla, and maybe just a hint of cinnamon. I smell like I've been baking all day! This is delicious and I want to just devour my wrists at this point. I'm gonna slather in it and thank my lucky stars that I got this one. This is one that I could stand putting on the lightbulbs and burning in the incense burner.

In the Bottle: Sweet sugary plums and some sort of floral in the background, perhaps a light rose or carnation. On Me: Very much the same as in the bottle, though the plums have a sort of rottening sweetness at first before drying down to a perfect plum scent. I could bathe in this one. Its just gorgeous. This really is "visions of sugarplums" dancing in my head.

In the Bottle: Mint, possibly a peppermint/spearmint blend, with a touch of grapefruit in the background. Hmm...wait...apples too. On Me: I think there may be some eucalyptus in here as well. Ice Queen is cold, very cold, her head held high, the pine branches bow out of her way when her sled drives fast, the animals do her bidding. I swear if this scent was any more right on the money I would be able to smell Turkish Delight in it. Since I don't know what that smells like, its a good possibility that there could be. Its so dead on for her, cold and stone, commanding and terrible. I love this! I'm gonna slather now and get to baking. Happy Holidays everyone.

I got the King and Queen of Diamonds because I was so in love with the King and Queen of Spades. In the Bottle: Slightly musky with a hint of citrus. I keep thinking of bubbling peach nectar or something similar. On Me: A white musk with definately a peach or necatrine after-effect, though a decidedly male scent. Very masculine, in fact. So masculine but light that I think I'll try it on my son. Wow, on me it was very peachy, but on my son its very light and sparkling, not too overly musky or very fruity, but a perfectly light yellow blend that just swirls around him without being overbearing. The difference in scents is amazing! While I like it on myself, I really love it on my son. Its very innocent on him, while on me its very masculine. I am really happy that I got a bottle of this, and I have a feeling that whenever I wear it, my son will too.

This was another freebie from the Lab that I was really looking forward to trying! In the Bottle: Cinnamon! I love cinnamon. There's something else there as well but I just can't place it yet. On Me: Hmmm...the cinnamon is much more subdued by patchouli, I think. Yeah, I think that's patchouli. And...damnit, I didn't unstop the imp, the plastic top came off. Now that's a first. I better get some tape to plug up this bottle or else its going to be all over the place. That was dumb of me. Some of the cinnamon is now starting to come through, but I'm still getting this overpowering scent of patchouli. Its nice, I'm not too terribly fond of this much patchouli though. It kinda reminds me of a stinky casavamelon. Blech. I'll use up the imp, but I don't think that there will be a big bottle of this for the future.

This imp was a generously given freebie in my Frost Moon order and was something on my wish list, which it seemed that all of my freebies were from. The Lab rocks! In the Bottle: Patchouli and Vetiver, that yummy chocolate scent. Almost like chocolate figs. Mmm....smells good. On Me: Very musty, probably due to some white sandalwood in there as well. The Patchouli sweetens the sandalwood scent just a hint, but the vetiver scent is now no where to be found. Wait...no, its there way back in the background. And am I ever suddenly hit with inspiration. Ok, this is probably way different than what it was intended, but I swear this is the scene that popped into my mind! The chinking sounds of his boots on the hard packed earth made the spectators wince at each of his long strides. The stagecoach had just passed here making the dirt below like stone, hard and unyielding, just like the man's face. His eyes were cold and set, they were like pools of ice in the middle of a stone basin. There had been several men like him in this part of the dusty world, but the citizens always seemed to think that each one of them were like demigods, untouchable. They doubted that the men thought that they were mortal at all. From the other side of the street the other one came, his boots not carrying quite the same spark as the first. There was fire in his eyes and death loomed behind him. He looked straight ahead, his gaze not as steady as the one striding toward him, his brow glistening with sweat either from the blazing noon day sun overhead, or from the weight of the man striding towards him with such grim purpose. He didn't acknowledge it, however. No hand rose to wipe the sweat away, but more than one man in the crowd on the edges of the hard-pan street lifted his own hand and brushed it across their foreheads, almost in an attempt to make the dead man more comfortable in his last moments. The man in the spurs stopped and drug a hard, leather toe across the ground below and spat in the general direction of the doomed man. His hand extended, flexed, curled inward again, and then came to rest next to the shiny revolver at his side. The Dead Man did the same, though others noted later that his hand was shaky and slow as he did so. The crowd held their breath in wait, not wanting to make a sound at all, lest they become the distraction that led to the death of their hero, not that they really thought that it would ever happen. The fingers of the dusty knight twitched slightly and then blazed into action, drawing his gun in one fluid motion and, with the Dead Man's gun only now starting to rise in front of him, he fired one single shot. The shot rang out, the blue-grey smoke rising from his gun, and the Dead Man clutched at his chest, his face contorted into surprise. He slumped to the ground, and finally lay, face first, into the hard dust below him. The people breathed a long sigh of relief and cheered their hero, their savior. The sun beat down on him causing all of the metal in his belt to glow with brightness, the look of a god among men. Suddenly, the man in spurs seemed to trip and fall onto the ground. The doctor rushed foreward and touched the man's forehead. He was feverish and was beginning to shake. The man pointed to his foot, and the doctor took off those famous boots, only to find a black and red swollen mass of flesh. A snake had been hiding in his boot this morning, and the man had been bitten, but refused to let anyone know about it because of the Mexican standoff. The funeral was solemn and morose, but it wasn't just for the Man in the Spurs, it was also for the death of a legend, the death of innocence. Long had the people here thought of their hero as immortal. In the end, part of it was true, there was no man alive that could kill him. But, immortal he was not. The death of a demigod had been attributed to one lone musical snake. So the question is, who truely is the god?

This was a generous freebie that the Lab gave me in my Frost Moon order. From the description alone I'm drooling. I can't wait to try it. In the Bottle: Rich, creamy, coconut. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you...no wait...I'm always an Almond Joy kinda girl;) Oh....this is heavenly! I can't wait to try it on! *dances and squeeeeees* On Me: Coconut and a light musk at first that makes me think of Coppertone tanning oil. Yeah, you know that you've lived on the beach too long when... But then, it changes to a light iris floral along with it, which totally gets rid of the too much suntan oil scent. I'm not saying that the coconut isn't still there, oh heavens no, its just that now its a lot more complex! If I was a guy, I'd be sporting wood! This has got to be the most exciting, evocative, and sexy scent that I've smelled so far! This is sex on a moonlit beach without the annoying sand in places where no sand should ever be! This is warming and sensual, a really gorgeous woman suntanning nude at Playlinda (the local nude beach). I could just eat away at my wrists, and I swear I just might shudder when my hubby smells my wrists. Yeah, a Gallon of this too. For someone that hates going to the beach, I really like the scents of the beach. This is totally a Cocoa Beach experience. *le sigh*

I got this as a freebie in my last order! I LOVE the Lab! In the Bottle: Chocolate and vanilla covered cherries. The vetiver always seems to come out as chocolate to me. On Me: This had a quality like dragon’s blood on me, but much darker and eatable. The musk really came out along with the vanilla, vetiver, and honey, all wrapped in a cherry glaze. It didn’t have a boozy quality to it at all, and it was extremely sexy on me. Not as headrushing sexy as Blood Lotus, but it was awfully close. I’m definitely going to need a bigger bottle.
-
In the Bottle: A sweet mint, maybe spearmint and peppermint combined? Maybe milk added in there as well. It smells really good. On Me: I LOVE this!!! Chilly and cold and icy winds biting on exposed flesh. There is definate rose in this as well, an extremely feminie cold that remindes me of the Queen in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for some odd reason. I’m so glad that I have this bottle. Once again the Lab has proven that the Moon scents are just not to be missed.

I got this one from a swap. hugs and kisses In the Bottle: It smells light and airy like a tropical paradise on the brink of winter. On Me: Pele is very light ginger, not the extreme ginger scent of the orient, but a light, airy, ginger scented breeze. Tropical flowers that I can’t pick out easily are in the background, but it isn’t in that normal heat sweltering way, but very lightly, as if just carried on a faraway breeze. This blends so well together that I really can’t tell what the individual scents are. Maybe Hibiscus? I really can’t tell. They stumped me! I’m definitely slathering in this today and buying a bigger bottle when I use up my imp!
-
I got this one from a swap. *hugs and kisses* In the Bottle: A white floral. Huh…that’s pretty odd. Not what I was expecting at all. On Me: A bit more spicy than what I smelled in the bottle. That’s more like what I was expecting. Its still rather floral, which I am really surprised about. Its kinda like a peppery floral. I like it though, and probably enough to actually want a larger bottle. The odder the scent, the more that I like it.
-
In the Bottle: Dandelion and something even sweeter. It smells really good. On Me: The Dandelion scent is really coming out on my wrists, but there’s a much sweeter scent in the air, something boozy, but not champagne from what I can tell. Maybe it is, but the hemp is making it hard to tell. It screams of cheap wine and cigars on a dark night on a gravel parkinglot without a streetlamp to see by. Just standing out there in a short leather mini skirt and white halter top without a jacket even though you can see your breath without the cigarrets or cigars. Your face has more makeup on than Tammy Fae Baker, but that’s to cover up the bruises from the Johns that get too rough. You know the only reason why you’re here is because when the bar closes, none of these drunks want to go home alone, not a one. The bartender don’t want you in the bar unless you’re buying, or at least drinking, but you know you have to limit yourself, cause you need to be clear headed when you steal their wallet after they’ve passed out. Let them think that you’re a cheap whore, you get more than your fair share, even though you quote low. It all depends on who’s at the bar and how much they brought with them. And they still end up coming back, because you make it easy for them to go home and explain to their wives why so much money is gone. The other whores don’t realize that sometimes when a hundred bucks is missing out of a guy’s wallet, their wives can notice, but you do. That’s really why you take it all, isn’t it? A free service to your Johns. Isn’t customer service wonderful? Yeah, a big bottle of this one despite the *ahem* colorful inspiration. This really is a great scent!

Oh boy, more vanilla! Yay! In the Bottle: Spicy vanilla, in fact, just the spices that I’ve been looking for for some time. I am definitely excited about trying this one. On Me: Wow, that’s certainly different! Its really hard to tell what’s in this one, it blends so well together. The spices aren’t sharp at all, more dulled and all blended together with the vanilla sweetening it all together. Maybe some nutmeg or something, but its so hard to tell. The scents don’t just pop out like they normally do with me on this one. The only thing that I can identify without a doubt is that yummy, gooey vanilla scent.. Maybe a bit of honey as well, since this seems to me to be a glowing, warm oil. Not cinnamon though, because that usually takes over a scent. Definitely a keeper, definitely what I was looking for, and definitely a bigger bottle. This is just what I needed to get the creative juices flowing for a story I’m writing. Between this and my Chaos Theory, I’m set.
