This is such a lovely, evocative scent! I'm so happy to have gotten it in the mail today. Like everyone else has said, this is a sweet, resinous blend with a little cedary evergreen in the mix. It's warm and comforting. The little bit of sweetness rounds it out beautifully! It was an impulse buy but I am so happy to have splurged on this.

I received a frimp of Tweedledum with my last order (thank you, lab!). At first I was a little trepidatious after reading 'patchouli' in the list of scent notes, but it turns out I needn't have worried. Although this scent smells quite a bit like bubblegum at first, on my wrist it quickly becomes deeper and spicier. Like others have written, it is a lot like a cup of spiced tropical fruit tea with a faint woody undertone. What a wonderful surprise! It's a lovely fruity & spicy tea scent and as soon as we have a little more room in our budget I will be ordering a large bottle.

I just got my Masters degree in Library and Information Science (seriously just got, we have not even had time yet to get my diploma framed!) and if ever a scent were tailor-made for me it would be this wonderful combination of coffee, paper, hazelnut and butterscotch. It is a real pity I did not invest in a bottle during grad school, it would have helped ease some of the pain! It is also making me crave a big mug of coffee with a generous dollop of Irish Cream.

Holy cannoli, I love this! As others have described it, this is a bright, energizing, effervescent scent. On me, the fruit has center stage while the florals seem to hover around the edges, and the pine resin somehow seems to pin the whole lovely ensemble together. After a few minutes, the resin has faded into the background, and the overall effect is more subdued and spicy/floral than it was initially. There is some mystery note that i LOVE--it's something in the floral mix I think, that wafts up from time to time. Peony? Is that you? What a happy purchase! For me, this is like the epitome of a good sunshiney-mood smell. Love it.

I love everything about the way Amsterdam smells. On me, I get a lot of grass and water, with the florals coming though underneath. It reminds me of how good the first sunny days of spring feel, when the ground is still wet and there's a bit of bite in the air, but first flowers are blooming and the sunshine is finally beginning to warm everything up. This scent is pure springtime! On me, it has a very light throw. Sadly my skin likes to eat it, but I splurged on a big bottle and don't mind reapplying.
