I'm so glad I got an imp of this in one of my first orders. I very promptly ordered a bottle, and then another to back it up. It is what I never knew I'd been looking for. Creamy, sweet sandalwood and the warmth from the cassia makes it delicious. I'm not very experienced with musks, but this one is divine. I was surprised at how Morocco wasn't as dry as it's description, but so happy that was the case. It's spiced ever-so-lightly, and does have a vanillary overtone, and I wish my skin naturally smelled this tasty.

Wet, this is all super sweet/pleasantly tart Wild Cherry Lifesavers mixed with a purple floral(lilacs or lavender ? I have heard the floral part described as lilac ) as soon as it dries just a tiny bit, I smell the same 89%sweet/ 11% sour honey from O blending in. After a while, there's my pretty vanilla too. Once it's settled, the tartness goes away for the most part, and it's a very bright fruit/vanilla up close, but if I catch a waft while walking around I get campfire smoke. Call me bewitched, bedazzled and bewildered. I will end up with a 5 ml of this beauty sometime soon!

On wet, a light lilac/citrus...musk? Dry, it takes on a thick powdery tone that is smooth, light somehow, and pleasant to my nose. It reminds me of King's barbershop talc, and someone who takes good care of themselves. More a gentleman than a Villain. I would not wear this for myself but I sure would have my husband wear it to visit my parents. Very nice!

I just got my bottle of Alice after testing with an imp. On my skin, it's a beautiful, innocently clean soft rose, with just enough carnation to make it seem ladylike, not childlike. Moderately sweet, fresh, slightly powdery. I would say it's going to be perfect for work situations, where I want to smell pretty and clean, without smelling like laundry or sharp soap. I like it very much.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

Thank you both for the suggestions. I haven't tried Vice, Lyonesse or Fae yet, they sound great! -

I am new to BPAL, only a few months in. I have tried about 30 scents and my top 5 are Snake Oil (have already ordered 2 5mls) Morocco(same, ordered two I know, I'm crazy) Alice O Bliss I would love to have some other recs before I get my next imp order together! Sorry to the previous poster because I feel I'm too new to recommend . -
I am relatively new here , but I do want to say this is one of my very favorite BPAL scents so far. When my bottle was brand-spanking-new there was a bit of foam-rubber band aid scent when first applied. After a month, I don't get that anymore. I get a sweet, dark, earthy vanilla , sweet but not cloying. There is something earthy and reminiscent of a nice patchouli underneath , but on dry down and hours thereafter, it is just yummy, tasty slightly spicy dark vanilla. Probably adding nothing new to these reviews, but I do love this so much! I feel perfectly grounded and just a little more ready to go out in the world. My kids love it, their verdict was " oatmeal cookies" , but they are after all innocent little ones. To me, a must-try!
