Origin — from forum member The notes sounded lush! In bottle: mainly the apple blossom, which reads as apple to me, plus the caramel, honey and cream softening everything. I get the teak grounding the scent in the background too. Wet: The apple blossom fades a bit and the caramel/honey/cream scent begins to step forward. The skin musk makes an appearance. I'm not sure I'm getting the amber but my nose is not that trained! Dry: Oh this is gorgeous. I can pick up the amber now and that and the musk make a really sensual base. The caramel, honey and cream complement the apple blossom to smell like baked apples I used to eat as a child! All bubbling warm caramel and honey, topped with cream, the apple cutting across it to take away any sickliness. The teak helps ground the scent and keep it non-sickly too. A really sexy, lovely scent that combines the freshness of apple blossom with the deliciousness of the foody components. I'd like a bit more foody-ness in the final mix but that is just personal taste!

Origin — cheap ebay bottle of unknown age. I have General Anxiety Disorder which sometimes makes sleeping sometimes makes sleeping not-happening so I wanted to try it. In the bottle: Lavender! And something like marshmallows coated in crunchy confectionary sugar. Wet; Lavender dominant, the marshmallows and something herbal are hanging out in the background Dry: Pillowy marshmallow clouds with a light lavender overlay to stop it from veering into "sickly", heavennnnnnnn! We Welshies (because we have the best language ) use the word "cwtch", which I don't think has a direct english translation so the closest I can come is "snuggle", but cwtch is even more snuggly. You can cwtch a person, or cwtch up under a blanket, etc, and it is just the bestest most comforting thing. TKO is a cwtch in a bottle! I don't know if it was just the psychological effect of knowing I was dousing myself in something to make myself drift off, but I did find breathing it in I felt calm and naturally sleepy, and I was asleep within minutes (I used it when my anxiety disorder was pinging a panic loop in my brain so it had some tough conditions to work with). I tend to get nightmares & broken sleep (again because my brain is wonky!) but the nights I use TKO I tend to get a nice, deep sleep and I wake up naturally and refreshed in the morning. So I'm not sure *why* it works but I'll take it above the fug induced by benzos and sleeping tablets any day - plus it smells amazing, once whilst I was about to doze off my wrist was grabbed and sniffed at by my boyfriend who found the scent and effects equally appealing, trying to use me as a scent sachet for him to get some sleep! (Edited as I don't spell so gewd)

Origin — 2008 version (so aged 6 years) purchased from ebay — I was curious to smell what "snow" translates to and reviews said it was quite foody, which is mah thing. In the bottle — Evergreen(?), ozone and something physically making my nostrils cold, like eucalyptus - it feels exactly like breathing in crisp winter air, (Even though right now the sun is shining!). Fresh and cold and pure, very like a winter landscape. Wet — Very like the bottle but with a sweet undertone of something like coconut coming through — but fresh coconut water/milk, not sweetened, processed coconut. The florals start to chime in but not shriekingly, it really is just a breath of them carried with snowflakes on the night breeze, and they smell "real" rather than "perfumey". Drydown — The ozone/green note softens a bit and it takes a cold, fluttery vanilla tone on top of the other scents. Beautiful! I have smelt nothing like it before,So evocative of a snow-swept fairytale forest! I am in lurve! Confession: The first time I tried this I got a almost cleaning product smell wet, which disappointed me and I threw a cardigan on and forgot about it. Then the next morning I had this wonderful cold but sweet scent all over said cardy and had to wrack my brain to connect the two! Luckily further wearing has turned out lovely each time so I assume it just needed some time after its journey in the post to settle!

My perfect book scent right now is Misk U but, here's the thing.... I have an imp (unknown age) of Miskatonic University and it smells exactly like dusty old books (I have a storeroom full of them at work so I got to do the side-by-side compare lol). The thing is, I get almost zero coffee from it (Just a little at the edge of a dusty sweetness that is the old paper smell to me) so I'm wondering if it's a batch variation or if my nose is just assigning scents oddly. Also the imp looks pretty fresh but might be really old? Does anybody know if aged Misk U brings the books to the fore? If so, awesome, my quest for aged Misk U starts as sometimes I want to smell like I just rolled in a library! I'm considering chucking a lab fresh imp into my next order to check, or asking my friend to bring her hubby's imp along with her when she visits! It could just be my defective nose, but it's not skin chem as it smells the same in the imp
